This charming cottage has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and can comfortably accommodate up to four Lucky guests. Perfect for an historic district getaway, this quiet retreat is within walking distance to all of Savannah’s hottest restaurants and nightlife.

The living space has lovely exposed brick, a decorative fireplace and a large TV that can be seen throughout the space. Whether you just have a cup of coffee at the breakfast bar or a full meal at the dining table, the kitchen has everything you’ll need to feel right at home.

Sconces flank the queen sized bed with soft light for a nice, relaxing space in this middle bedroom. You’ll have plenty of closet space to unpack and settle in. The en suite bathroom has a shower/tub combo. The back bedroom with en-suite bathroom, has recently been converted to a queen bed and a view of the private courtyard. For any night owls with late-night cravings, guests in the back bedroom must pass through the middle bedroom to access the living room and kitchen area.

You’ll be a short walk from historic River Street and the world famous Pirate’s House, which first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers, and quickly became a rendezvous spot for pirates.

Walking distance to river and E Broughton… less than 30 minutes to Tybee Island… great food just all around the area… will definitely tell others!!!loved touring the historic district with Old Towne Trolley Tours… driver Icie was amazing!!! Highly recommend this to everyone!!!!

Girls trip!

Property was not clean when we arrived but manager corrected the situation immediately. Otherwise the house was very nice, great location and especially enjoyed the patio! Jasmine was blooming and the fragrance was wonderful!

Great stay

This was this easiest rental process I have ever been through. Download an app and go. The app provided every detail for us to get in our house and once in example Wi-Fi pw, codes, checkout. It was very user friendly. Nice clean house, in walking distance to a lot of food and fun places! We had four adults on the trip and had a blast.

Cute for tiny family

Adorable place in a great location. We didn't notice on the booking information there wasn't a dishwasher but made eating in with a family of 4 less than desirable (good thing Savannah has such amazing restaurants). A shade over the back bedroom skylight would improve the sleeping situation. Also, I'd suggest getting rid of the barstools and adding another comfortable chair to accommodate 4 people.

The negatives were: uncomfortable living room furniture, poorly equipped kitchen, low shower head in 1 bath, and a difficult to open back gate. Loved the courtyard and back room.

Wake field Cottage matched the pictures and was a clean and comfortable place. rooms are great and both bathrooms were a good size for homes of this age. The back courtyard was fantastic for our dog, although a little weedkiller might if helped the bricks a bit. The private parking space and not needing to move your car on sweep days are definitely a plus for anyone staying in this town! Great location close to everything really

Our little home for the weekend!

My two BFFs and I stayed here for the weekend and had a wonderful time. The apartment was clean, there were plenty of towels, the beds were comfy, the bathrooms were clean and we had great water pressure in the showers. There is parking and a cute little garden. We were close to everything, the river and city market, walking wasn't an issue. It was really cold that weekend, so we ended up hanging out at the apartment one afternoon. The sofa isn't the most comfortable, but we made it work. I would stay here every time I come to Savannah. Also, I called Lucky Savannah a few times with questions and they were SO HELPFUL and SO VERY NICE! Thank you again!

Great location

Very nice stay with my bff. Walked to everything and there was so much to see and do! Food was great. People were so friendly. The cottage is very quaint and small, yet lovely. The second bedroom appears to be a porch that has been enclosed. It was a bit warm and stuffy, but using a fan took care of this issue. Not sure how it would be in the heat of summer. But the bed was comfy and I really loved the brick walls and vintage decor. Overall a great girl’s getaway trip. Food and drinks in Savannah are awesome!! I would suggest supplying some wine glasses. But we didn’t cook, instead took advantage of the amazing nearby restaurants! I hope to return and would stay here again.

The cottage is a bit run down and wasn't really that clean. Living room lamp zip tied together, the courtyard wasn't very pretty or well maintained. This cottage could be very cute with a few updates and improved housekeeping. Needs a ceiling fan in back bedroom as it gets quite warm back there.

Special thank you for their help dealing with our package delivery! My husband and I have stayed in many vacation rentals, this one was not our favorite. The location to savannah points of interest can not be beat. The off street parking is a big bonus. However, the house was not as sparkly clean as we are used to and the laundry situation wasn’t great (very small apartment sized washer drier that didn’t work well).

Charming Old Savannah Cottage

My daughter and granddaughter stayed with us and this cottage is perfect for a family with kids. Full bed and two twins. Very cool second bathroom crafted from original brick porch. Has the basics in kitchen needs and a TV in every room. Perfect location for walking. Four blocks from River Street just off the square between Broad and Price. The downside was that the second bedroom is accessed through the main bedroom which wasn't ideal. Also the second bedroom has a skylight which allows beautiful morning light in. I loved it but one might not if they are trying to sleep. That being said I would stay again.

Cute Cottage

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Wakefield Cottage was very cozy. I think it would be great for a couple with small kids. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything. The second bedroom is a bit strange. It seems like it was an add on so the heating (and I imagine cooling in the summer) doesn't work as well in the back bedroom. Also you have to walk through the main bedroom to get out of the second bedroom. There was no dishwasher. We were so happy with the management company Lucky Savannah. They were so prompt and attentive to our needs. Even brought us a large pot so I could cook a batch of soup. I would definately rent from this company again as they provided exceptional customer service which made our stay enjoyable.
