Elegantly Appointed Washington Square Home, Close to River by Lucky Savannah

This beautifully remodeled townhouse overlooks tranquil Washington Square, its namesake. This home has everything you’ll need for a comfortable and memorable stay in Savannah.

Entering in the foyer, you’ll immediately notice that the original hardwood floors have been preserved, while the home has been tastefully updated with modern decor and features. To your immediate right is a large open living space, which features two decorative fireplaces original to the home and updated for a clean, modern look. Tastefully decorated with a neutral pallet, the living space has two couches, including a sleeper sofa, and a large flat screen TV. Just outside of the adjacent kitchen is a large wooden table with seating for six, perfect for dining in. The fully renovated kitchen has all the modern conveniences you could need, including stainless steel appliances. A full bathroom with a shower/tub combo is conveniently located on the first floor.

At the top of the stairs you’ll find the second full bathroom with a full vanity, tiled shower, and washer and dryer for added convenience. The first bedroom offers a king bed, while the second bedroom offers a queen sized bed. The third bedroom has a unique built-in twin bed, a hideaway perfect for a child.

This home around the corner from the world famous Pirate’s House, which first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers. You’ll be a short walk away from River Street, where you can shop and dine in renovated cotton warehouses as you watch ships make their way down the Savannah River. Just down the street is Cha Bella, a farm to table restaurant and popular location for wedding receptions.

Parking for this home is on-street and metered, with enforcement by the City of Savannah Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm. Pre-paid visitor parking passes are available for purchase at the Parking and Mobility Services office. Please take note of posted Sweep Zone signs when parking on the street.

Great location and Great Place to Stay with Family

The propoerty was lovely very clean and very well appointed.Complete with everything you need to visit and stay right in downtown close to the river walk area, Pirate house, the Savannah theater. The townhouse was perfect with three bedrooms all very well setup and with plenty of towels, soaps, and even detergent for the washing machine should you need it. Loved the Support from the property managment team always there to help at a moments notice. Thank you all for a great stay.

Fabulous Downtown Location

House was nicely furnished but still baby friendly. The house was very clean, nice toiletries, well stocked kitchen & lots of seating in the living room. The 3rd bedroom was a favorite for the kids & the large chalkboard was entertaining for kids & adults! Walking distance to many downtown restaurants (especially Java Burrito) was perfect!

Fabulous girlfriends getaway for Galentines

Great weekend in Savannah. The only bummer was it poured rain on Saturday so couldn’t do much except sit inside a sports bar and watch basketball. But the location of the place was excellent. Walking distance to river street and tons of restaurants and bars. Perfect size for us. ❤️💕💜

The property was conveniently located and incredibly walkable through all of Historic Savannah, so much so that most of us didn't rent cars for our stay. For our friends that drove down, parking was a challenge at first so I would encourage others to look ahead for options rather than trying to find a spot when you first drive up. The property was very comfortable and outfitted well but was missing a few things I thought would have been included. There were no coasters in the kitchen/living room area, and there wasn't a matching set of wine glasses for the number of people the property is listed as serving. The incorrect wifi information was listed in our check in binder, but management was very responsive to get us online.

The location was great! Everything is just a quick walk away. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds very comfortably. The bathrooms were very nice with modern decor that respected the history of the residence. The washer and dryer functioned as expected. The internet connection was a bit off and wouldn't stay connected. We later found out that there was an outage. The remodeling in the immediate area was not an issue for us during our stay an it was relatively quiet in the early morning hours. The parking was great and very convenient to the location. We seldom moved the car but the daily rates for parking is inexpensive. The view of the square was nice to look at in the morning. The square even comes with local cats who are well cared for. They bother absolutely no one.The property management team at Lucky Savannah was fantastic! They were pleasant to speak with and helpful. This added to the overall experience!The house is in such great condition! We will definitely stay there again!

Everything was clean and the rooms exactly as described. As others say about the musty smell yes you do notice it as soon as you walk in, but it’s in a hot and humid state so that’s somewhat expected. The only things I would recommend is have someone go in and set the air to 70 and perhaps get a room a/c for the front bedroom. It was so darn hot in the house when we arrived and the upstairs front rooms never cooled off. We had to get extra fans from family just to be able to sleep up there. We even went to look for black flat sheets to put over the windows upstairs. My suggestion would be to stay when it’s not so hot and humid. Location for this place is ideal.

Arrived later in the evening at the property and had access to the property without problems. Lovely house. Only thing I would suggest is in the summer time it is very hot and the a/c is set to 78. It took about 3 hours for the home to cool off. Maybe on the day of arrival the management company can set the air a little lower so its already cool upon arrival.Other than that, the stay was great. Great location, walked everywhere and enjoyed an authentic Italian meal nearby at Bella Napoli Italian Bistro.

Great house, but a couple of things...

The house was clean and in a great location. We had a bit of trouble upon arrival with the entry code, but after a call, the problem was quickly fixed. We enjoyed our stay, but for future guests, I have a couple of recommendations. One, alert guests about the super-slick steps. After falling down the flight of 16 steps, one doesn’t quite enjoy the visit as she might have otherwise. Two, upgrade the soaps in the bathrooms. Three, ensure that the fitted sheets actually fit the bed. A low-profile sheet on a deep mattress doesn’t facilitate a good night’s sleep; getting slapped several times a night by a too-small sheet slipping off the corner of the mattress is not pleasant. Otherwise, everything was great.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived to the property late at night. When I 1st walked into the property seems clean. But the place smelled musky and stuffy. I understand that it is an old property, but wish they would have aired it out before the guests arrived. The other issue was the place was cleaned very superficially, there were glass shards in the shower, there was dead bugs in the corner of the living room, andthe place was dusty. The couch was extremely dirty and smells so bad. It's ashame that the company charges over $200.00 as cleaning fee. And it was not cleaned or aired out. On the positive side the bed was one of the most comfortable bed I've slept on.

The house was clean and comfortable, with the perfect location situated close to the hotels others were staying at and walkable to everything. The square was quiet and safe. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the fans (in addition to the air conditioning) in all of the rooms. I worried the smaller single room would be too small for our mom, but it was also super comfortable and perfect for her.
