Two-story antebellum home located just minutes from River Street and all the Historic District has to offer. Three bedrooms (plus a double sleeper sofa in downstairs sunroom), 2 1/2 baths, two porches, plus a private courtyard which includes on-site SECURITY PARKING. Living room, dining room, kitchen with all new appliances and granite countertops. Table service for up to 6 people.
Brand new Washer Dryer.
Upper level porch perfect for lounging after a long day.
Master bedroom has queen size Four poster rice bed with stair steps, walk in closet, and original fireplace. Second bedroom is private suite with queen size bed and attached bathroom. Third bedroom has twin trundle bed (sleeps 2 when pulled out) , large closet, and leads to upper porch. Both bathrooms have tub/shower combinations and one boasts an Oyster shell chandelier. Additional powder room on first floor.

Dining room seats 6-8 people.

House is freshly painted and decorated with newer furniture and accented with antiques and local art. There are 2 smart TVs and WiFi is provided.

Property is located just blocks from City Market, Colonial Park Cemetery, Pirates House, River Street, Owens Thomas House, Broughton St, and so much more. You can ALMOST see Leopolds Ice Cream from the upper porch! Less than a block to Greene Square (location of Savannah’s tiniest house and the Second African Baptist Church). Cha Bella and the Pirates House restaurants are across the street!

A list of Savannah’s finest restaurants can be found on-site. The Grey, The Olde Pink House, HUSK, B Matthews, to name a few. Tourist basket on living room floor is full of brochures and additional local information.

Great Place for a Small Group of Friends
I have a small group of friends from High School (4 of us) who decided 5 years ago to get together once a year for a long weekend in a different US city each year. For 2024 we picked Savannah, Georgia so last fall I began searching on VRBO for a place that would fit our needs. Things we look for... - A separate room for each of us - At least 2 full bathrooms - A full kitchen - Clean and comfortable - An outdoor area where we can sit and have coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening - Walking distance to some good places to eat This place turned out to be perfect! Not only was it walking distance to some nice restaurants, it was in the Historic District of Savannah. When we arrived, we by chance met the owner personally and she gave us a tour of the house and share with us several great places to shop and eat. When she says in her contract if you have any questions at all, please call me, she means it! Truely a delightful person who cares about her property and that the folks who stay there have a great time. Thanks so much for your hospitality!

Nice stay
My husband & I have been to Savannah several times but we had friends that had never been. We all thought the house was in a great location, close enough to walk the river and all the great shops and restaurants. We had a car to drive as needed but most of the time it stayed in the secured parking spot. The house was clean and had all the necessities. Debbie did a great job communicating. Even though she struggled with some technical difficulties on her side, she managed to get us all the information we needed in a timely manner.

Absolutely charming.
Before we got there, Debbie reached and to clarify everything which was comforting. The house was just lovely and you could feel the history throughout. The location was perfect. We could walk to most places we wanted to go. A bonus for this property is the “garage”. There is a secure parking space on the property. It was so nice to park and not have to worry about feeding a meter or moving it for street sweepers. I would highly recommend this home and I look forward to staying there the next time I visit Savannah.

Spectacular
My wife and I stayed for our anniversary and this home was the perfect place. So close to shopping and restaurants, we were able to walk everywhere. The house is exactly as listed, absolutely beautiful home. Debbie is wonderful and friendly and always available to reply to any questions we had. We will be back!

The Green Grey House is large enough to accommodate our family group, but intimate enough to make us feel at home from the moment we walk in the centuries old property. We love this house.
Private courtyard, beautiful moldings, and Parking! We loved celebrating this houses’s 200th birthday in 2021!

Parking in Historic SAVANNAH is scarce. The house boasts a secure parking courtyard complete with garage door opener for added security if returning home late at night.
You can walk everywhere in the Historic District.
