Delicious Lamia, traditional residence in the newly renovated stone house, situated in the tranquil countryside of Cisternino among olive trees and stone walls. A 2.5 km from the town, a few kilometers from the sea and historic towns such as Ostuni, Locorotondo and Martina Franca.
The house, simple and refined, is composed of a large living-dining room with sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable room with double bed and a comfortable bathroom.

Peaceful retreat in Puglia

Our stay near Cisternino was perfect. Close enough to town to get groceries or travel to many other towns and attractions in the Puglia region. Grazia was the best host and available to respond to any inquiry. The rental is part of this rural property surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. Very quiet and fully stocked with the necessary amenities plus welcome supplies to get us started. We appreciated the washer, the privacy and access to outdoor space. We highly recommend this property.

Lovely home in an olive grove

The house is beautifully situated in an olive grove just outside Cisternino, ideal for exploring Puglia hill towns. Grazia (who lives in the house next door) was prompt and positive communicating with us, the house was spotless, the bed comfortable, it was well stocked with linens, towels, dishes, cutlery, pans etc. It was perfect size for the two of us. Note that the rural address you will be given doesn't show on Google maps. Leaving Cisternino follow SP17. One kilometre after the last roundabout leaving Cisternino there is a road on the left with a giant rock in the intersection that has the name of a farm on it. Turn left at the rock and the gate is 400 meters up that road on the left. It doesn't show on Google streetview because the pictures are 10 years old and the house is quite new. Apple map's streetview however does show the gate.

Sehr schönes, idyllisch gelegenes Ferienhaus

Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und liegt in einem Olivenhain ( mit einer sehr schönen Terrasse). Grazia ist eine sehr liebevolle und aufmerksame Gastgeberin, die jederzeit zu erreichen war und tolle Tipps für uns hatte. Ein Auto sollte man aber unbedingt dabei haben.

Super Ferienaufenthalt in Apulien

Grazias Feriengrundstück liegt etwa fünf Autominuten vom Stadtkern Cisterninos entfernt und besteht aus dem Wohnhaus und einem sehr großen Garten, der mit wunderschönen, alten Olivenbäumen bepflanzt ist, zwischen denen dann auch das Auto geparkt werden kann. Direkt neben dem Wohnhaus befindet sich eine überdachte Terrasse, auf der es sich auch in der heißen italienischen Mittagszeit im Juni gut aushalten lässt (kein Hitzestau unter dem schrägen Dach!). Der Standort ist sehr gut geeignet für Ausflüge in sehenswerte Orte wie Ostuni, Sceglie, Alberobello, Martina Franca oder Locorotondo, außerdem ist auch der alte Innenstadtkern (centro storico) von Cisternino äußerst attraktiv. Wir haben auch einen Ausflug in das ca. 83 km entfernte Matera in der Region Basilikata gewagt und benötigten dazu jeweils etwa 105 Minuten für die Hin- bzw. Rückfahrt. Der Ausflug hat sich trotz der weiten Reise gelohnt, insbesondere durch die gut erhaltene Höhlenwohnung, die bis in die 1950er Jahre hinein bewohnt war und jetzt besichtigt werden kann. Im Gebiet der „Sassi“ (Höhlenwohnungen) ist sehr heiß, also: viel Wasser mitnehmen! Wir haben auch einen kleinen Trip ans Meer gemacht, nach Torre Canne, wo der Strand noch nicht von hässlichen Hotelburgen entstellt ist und das Wasser ganz langsam tiefer wird, also gut geeignet für Familien mit kleineren Kindern. Fische und Meeresfrüchte werden im kleinen Hafen fangfrisch zum Kauf angeboten. Cisternino bietet gute Möglichkeiten zum Einkauf und eine reichhaltige Gastronomie, und Grazia gibt auf Wunsch auch gute Tipps zum Einkaufen: Wo ist die beste Eisdiele? Wo kann man Käse direkt in der Käserei kaufen? Welche Pizzeria ist unbedingt zu besuchen? … Eine Besonderheit im Gastronomiebereich sind die sogenannten „Fornelli“, das sind von Metzgern betriebene Grill-Lokale, in denen Spezialitäten der Gegend, stets frisch zubereitet, angeboten werden und dort auch verzehrt werden können. Ein kleines Problem bei der Anreise zu Grazias Ferienhaus war, dass das Navigationsgerät die Straße nicht kannte. Aber zum Glück ist es leicht zu lösen: Fährt man auf der SP17 von Cisternino aus in Richtung Ostuni, so ist ca. 1km nach dem letzten Kreisverkehr auf der linken Seite ein großer Felsblock mit der Aufschrift „Masseria Marangiulo“ zu sehen. Dort abbiegen und bis zu dem Tor mit „Lamia 7“ fahren: Ziel erreicht. Das Ferienhaus in seiner schönen Umgebung ist nur zu empfehlen. Horst M.

Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Landhaus im Olivenhain

Gracia hat uns nett empfangen und mit einem umfangreichen, leckeren Lebensmittelkorb und mit Olivenöl aus dem eignen Garten ausgestattet. Die Adresse war richtig benannt, war aber in Google Maps nicht bekannt, so dass wir uns im Ort trafen und abgeholt wurden. Gracia spricht etwas Englisch und ist eine sehr sympathische, engagierte Gastgeberin. Im und am Haus ist alles tiptop: gute, geschmackvolle Einrichtung und alles sehr gepflegt. Man kann sich dort sehr wohl fühlen. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig und dennoch gut zu erreichen - jederzeit gerne wieder.

Wundervolles authentisches "Lamia" an hervorragender Lage

Ein sehr charmantes Ferienhaus wo sich die Vergangenheit mit der Gegenwart vereint. Ruhig gelegen und doch ein sehr ideal gelegener Ort um die Region zu erkunden. Grazia die Vermieterin ist sehr herzlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit mit vielen Tipps für die Region. Wir können das Objekt für unbeschwerte und genussreiche Ferien sehr empfehlen. Mit Stil im Olivenhain

Hier wohnt man ruhig und mit viel Platz, innen und auf den Terrassen. Das Haus ist neu, modern, gut eingerichtet. Auch bei Hitze bleibt es innen angenehm. Für Ausflüge ans Meer und die Städte ideal. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Grazia ist unkompliziert und sehr nett. Grazie mille!

Stilvoll, modern, ruhige Lage ;-)

Das Objekt ist geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet....es ist ausreichend Platz für 2 Erwachsene und unsere Erwartungen wurden erfüllt. Das Grundstück ist groß und bietet viel Platz auf der großen Terrasse. Gracia (die Vermieterin) war immer da wenn sie gebraucht wurde. Schön ist auch die ruhige Lage abseits der Hauptstrasse. 5 Sterne sind absolut OK: Wir kommen gerne einmal wieder !

Mit exzellentem Geschmack eingerichtetes, tolles Ferienhaus

Wir verbrachten 9 wunderbare Tage in dem erstklassig renovierten Haus! Grazia und Ihre Tochter, die im Nachbarhaus wohnen, waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet, alles funktionierte einwandfrei, nur die wifi Verbindung hat öfters ausgesetzt. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert! Wir würden definitiv gerne wiederkommen!

Best place in Puglia

Located near Cisternino surrounded by beautiful olive trees. The owners are very kind and helpful. The house is fresh and impeccable. Everything is perfect in the house. The location is fantastical, near Cisternino, a nice little town with a very beautiful view of the valley and good restaurants. The house is on a hill with a fresh climate, close to the supermarket, and the best places in Puglia. We plan to return to this enchanted place.

Schönes modernes Rustico in ruhiger Lage mitten im Olivenhain.

Das neu (um-)gebaute Haus liegt inmitten eines alten, sehr großen Olivengartens in einer ruhigen Nachbarschaft. Es ist modern und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, das Wohnzimmer mit Küche sehr großzügig für zwei Personen - ebenso das geräumige Badezimmer. In jedem Zimmer gibt es ausreichend Aufbewahrungsmöbel. Durch die dicken Mauern bleibt das Haus angenehm kühl, was auch durch die funktionellen Holzläden an Türen und Fenstern sowie die Fliegengitter (Lüften) gefördert wird. Unsere Gastgeberin Grazia ist sehr sympatisch und hilfsbereit. Man kann sie jederzeit kontaktieren, wenn es Probleme gibt - sie wohnt auf dem Nachbargrundstück. Trotzdem fühlt man sich in seinem Bereich ungestört. Sehr schön - und von uns dauernd benutzt - ist der überdachte Terrassenplatz zum Essen oder Lesen. Das hübsche Cisternino ist der nächste Nachbarort und mit dem Auto in ca. 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Überhaupt ist der Standpunkt ideal für Besuche all der schönen Orte in Mittelapulien.
