Comfortable and clean

We stayed the entire month of March. We were 300 steps from the beach (we counted it out) and were walking distance to restaurants, stores, CVS and attractions. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. It is on the last street of hotel/rentals before it changes to the more private residential area. We liked North Beach compared to the craziness of the South beach section, especially during the spring break month of March. It felt like home to us, comfortable and clean. It is not top shelf, no granite here, but has a gas stove (very unusual for Florida) and the fridge is new and clean. The water gets really hot and the shower pressure is good. The bed was comfy. The pillows could use updating, but were okay. It has a small TV, but excellent cable and wifi. The owner is nice. She described her place as humble. I enjoyed taking care of it as my home. I swept up the sand that came in with us every few days. We enjoyed it, Susana. Thank you.

A great location...

We stayed recently at this vacation rental and I can say the pictures do not do justice to the place. The location is excellent... feet from the beach and all attractions on Clearwater Beach that is the positive. The owner is a relatively friendly person but a bit hard to reach when it comes to "emergency" communications and the owner has only a pre-paid cell phone making it harder to reach when needed (on the fly). However she met us at the place after our plane arrived several hours late and turned over the keys. A quick transaction. I would not say the description or pictures are 100% accurate. Some of the apartment was renovated in the past 10 years and other parts were left overs from the 1950s/60s. It was relatively well maintained but the floors in the master bedroom left our feet "black" and the bed and mattress should have been replaced a decade ago. The sheets were "throw aways" or "well worn" to say the least. Not 100% clean and a but outdated should be a good and fair summary of the place. The value is good for those use to staying at Youth Hostels or Motels but is not ideal for those wishing for a little better than fair experience.

I do not remember you, but I do remember the mess you left behind.... Well....is always hard to deal with people who does not appreciate or respect other's people property.
