Indian Hallow Blue Jacket Lodge

Beautiful 6,000 acre Indian Lake is within steps of your cabin. Greet each morning with amazing sunrises over the lake. This beautiful A-frame log cabin has 3 floors, 2 of which have great views of the lake. Professional kitchen with granite counters, another smaller kitchen on the 1st floor, hardwood floors, huge elevated deck, garden jacuzzi tub in master bath, two fireplaces, and loft are just a few of the incredible features of this rental. This cabin is located on the west side of the lake. A 3 mile bike/walking path is located just steps from your front door. Old Field Beach and boat docks are also located nearby. Fully furnished including fresh linens. This property has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay at the lake. Swimming pool (opened Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend), children's playground, basketball court and stocked fishing ponds are all located on our grounds. The property consists of 2 vacation rentals and a small permanent RV park/campground.

10 adults, 5 children . Easy parking, convenient fishing lake, pool and children’s play area. Great accommodations. Front and rear porches/decks provided a nice lakeview, cover from rain and shaded areas to escape the sun. Plenty of room for all.

GREAT PLACE FOR BIG FAMILY GATHERING!

We just stayed here on May 8th through the 10th for my nephews wedding. We had a great time. I wish we could have all stayed longer.The 2nd floor kitchen is TOP NOTCH. Very reasonable way to accomodate a large family gathering. Nice pool ,pond ,and the lake is just across the street.

Great House! Great Set Up! A Great Location!

I just got back from a week long stay at the Blue Jacket Cabin. I stayed there with 9 other friends. The cabin slept all of us comfortably and had all of the amenities of home (including air conditioning and satellite TV). It was even located only a few hundred yards from a boat dock. The house is beautiful and was set up perfect for what we wanted. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful, spacious home!

What a beautiful place to spend our girls weekend! There was plenty of room for all 7 of us, and the toddler with us loved the fact that there was a play structure so close, and he could play with other kids from the RV campground around us. The house is just gorgeous, and was perfect for our get together. We were able to walk to the beach, and sat on the porch in the evenings. It was immaculate, with great amenities, and all our questions were answered promptly and happily. Thank you for sharing such a lovely home with us. We only wish we could have stayed in it longer!

No remote in master bedroom for fan. Jets didn't work in master bath. Not enough tv's, hard to please all with 2 tv's. Fire pit looked like trash can until we cleaned it out. But....house was beautiful, nice beds, great family time. Will recommend this house!

Amazing Vacation-Beautiful Cabin

What a beautiful place to stay!! There were 14 of us that fit perfectly in the cabin. There was plenty of room for everyone. The grounds and pool area were absolutely gorgeous. The kids went fishing all day, and the playground was a lot of fun for them also. A huge plus for this rental is that it is handicap accessible with a lift chair between floors, and a wheelchair ramp. My mother has Lou Gehrigs disease, and all these amenities gave her the freedom to move around the cabin independently. Also, the owner, Deanna, was in the area daily, and bent over backwards to accommodate us with any request that we may have had. We are looking forward to booking soon for the end of June 2012. Thank you!

We loved the house- plenty of room. Busy lake area, but adequate privacy. The lake was difficult to navigate due to all the seaweed and scum, but we found areas which were acceptable.

Great place for larger groups

Had a very positive experience at this property. The kitchen has four separate ovens which makes it easier to cook for larger groups. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pots, pans, serving trays, etc which is nice. The host had a box of adorable lake themed sugar cookies waiting for us on the kitchen counter when we arrived. The only bummer was that they provided one roll of toilet paper per bathroom for our entire stay. That becomes an issue when you have a larger group staying there and we ended up having to make an unexpected trip to the local convenience store since we were not made aware of this prior to checking in. Would’ve been nice to know ahead of time so we could’ve planned properly. Other than that it is a great space with plenty of indoor and outdoor space and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had an issue with the oven and someone came over right away to help solve the problem. Our little one loved the play ground and pool right outside our doorstep. Downside of the cabin was that’s it’s not private, being right on the campground parking lot. No shade trees. Otherwise we would give it 5 Stars. The pool which is steps away is really nice. Lovely huge deck facing Indian Lake.

Beautiful home!

We had an excellent time at Indian Hallow. The campground is located close to the boat ramp and beach. It was nice to have access to the bike path right across the road from the house. The pool on the campground was wonderful and well-maintained. The house itself was excellent for our clan. Nicely decorated with lots of bathrooms! The kitchen was well-stocked. A few more bath towels would have been nice. We will definitely return!

Our family has owned this property since 1990. It was first the home for two of our families as we first started out. We were blessed to bring our babies home to this beautiful house. After moving out to separate new homes we refurbished and began using it as a rental so others could enjoy what we called home. Our family has undergone many changes since 1990, but our love for this home continues.

Our family has owned this beautiful property since 1990. It underwent a massive beautification in 2015. The views from the home of beautiful Indian lake are amazing and often referred to by locals as a million dollar view. The home is very spacious, with two living rooms, two kitchens and tons of bedrooms and living spaces. The arches that greet you as you enter rooms were maintained in this centuries old home. Wood floors greet you in every room and the beauty is amazing. You will simply feel at home-

The home sits inside of a campground. There is an additional home next door. The property has a fishing pond, large playground, expansive shelter house and a very large swimming pool which is heated and open from Memorial day to Labor day. (some years it is open later) Finally there is a basketball court and tons of activities that you are invited to join in at the campground.
