Best LOCATION!! Adjacent to King and Prince Resort!! Sleeps 6-7

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!!! Oak Street Retreat borders the exclusive King and Prince resort which includes St. Simon’s ONLY oceanfront restaurant, ECHO! Aside from serving three meals a day, ECHO also has a spacious bar and occasional live music. Within short walking distance are island food favorites Crab Trap, Crabdaddy’s, and Beachcomber BBQ along with newer additions, Fiddlers and Barrier Island Brewery. You will also find the local beach gear and bike rental shop, Ocean Motion, around the corner. The beach is a short 200 yard stroll from the front door.
Our retreat comfortably sleeps 6 adults and up to 8 if twin bed and queen sleeper sofa are utilized.
Let’s talk about the townhouse! Upon entering, you will find a downstairs den with queen pullout couch, separate twin bed, and 43” TV. A queen bedroom with full bath is also on the first level. This level makes a great grandparents suite or kid zone!
Walk up a flight of stairs to the main level where you will find a spacious kitchen open to the dining table which seats 6. Four barstools provide additional in kitchen seating. Beyond the kitchen and dining area, is the living room with comfortable sectional sofa. Perfect for lazy afternoon naps! Above the fireplace, you will find a 55” smart TV for your viewing pleasure. Walk out the sliding doors and enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail on the deck. A half bathroom is also located on the main level.
Travel up one more flight of stairs and you will find two more bedrooms. One with a King bed and closet, the other with a Queen bed and closet. Each upstairs bedroom has a set of 2 bathroom sinks (4 total sinks), and a shared shower and toilet. The King bedroom has a deck attached. A full-size washer and dryer are located on the top floor. All bedrooms also have TVs.
We have many extra amenities to offer you at Oak Street Retreat. *Beach gear, including chairs, tent, toys, skim board, and a beach cart for hauling your gear to the beach are provided. In addition, two adult bicycles are included.
There are two designated parking spots directly in front of the unit and additional public parking can be found in front of the King and Prince Resort.

Fantastic stay!

First time on St. Simons Island and could not imagine a more perfect spot for our family! The location is ideal - walking distance to the beach but also close by many restaurants and shops. The home itself was very clean and well maintained as well as tastefully decorated. We had a wonderful trip and would highly recommend this place if visiting St Simons!

This property is at a great location near the beach and also within walking distance of several very good restaurants. The property itself is very roomy, well furnished and quite confortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Perfect location-very easy and short walk to the beach. Tons of beach toys and accessories. Check in/out was super easy-Suzanne kept us informed of instructions very timely and easily! For a quick weekend getaway-would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at this comfortable SSI home! The location was perfect for us: a short walk to the beach as well as to restaurants and shops. We loved Suzanne's recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The home had a well-stocked kitchen, spacious living areas, and comfortable beds. We had all we needed for a great first stay on St. Simon's Island! We will definitely be back!

We spent the weekend with our adult children. This place was perfect for us. You just can't beat the location. We were able to walk to most everything we wanted: restaurants, shopping, and the beach. The beach gear on site was a huge help to us. I would definitely love to come back!

We had a great visit. The condo was an easy walk to the beach and some local restaurants. The beds were very comfortable. It was easy for several of us to be in the kitchen fixing lunch at the same time. Look forward to coming back and staying again soon,

Wonderful Girls Weekend

We had a wonderful stay at your property! Property is beautifully furnished. Great location! We walked to dinner both nights we were there, and shopping is just a short drive away. Beds were super comfortable, and the layout of the bathrooms (multiple sinks) made it easy for all the girls to get ready at the same time. Definitely will not be our last stay!

Senior Year Spring Break Getaway

My friends and I booked this amazing condo for our last Spring Break together in college. I was a perfect getaway for a week with our significant others. It was in an incredible location, extremely close to the beach and right next to some really good food. The condo was very clean and perfect size for our party of 8. Comfortable and Convenient

Our family of 4 plus Grandparents enjoyed staying at this property very much. The owner was so flexible, with very prompt communication. The townhome is updated, and very comfortable - we had everything we needed. You can't beat the location - a quick walk to the beach, and convenient to the Lighthouse/Pier Area, as well as other hot spots. It was nice to be able to walk to good restaurants, but we also enjoyed some in other areas that were just a short drive. We would stay here again!

A Great Stay at St Simon’s Island

We loved the property!!! It had ample room for our group of seven, is well decorated, and has all the amenities you need to be very comfortable. It also has bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas and other beach equipment for kids and teens. The property is also very close to the beach, only a five minute walk away. Finally, our hosts were very responsive questions we had when we arrived. Overall we had a great time and look forward to coming back again in the future!

Location … Crab Trap and Crab Soup

We were looking for a location that met our personal needs for beds and etc. We also knew that we wanted to eat at the Crab Trap at least once - this condo is literally a block away. The home was clean and comfortable. Although tightly nested in the trees and surrounding homes, this place had sufficient parking for the two vehicles and the amenities met all our needs. We would consider this location again when in the area for our next event.

Excellent location!

This place surpasses our expectations. Checking in was super easy. Owner was available for questions and answered them quickly. This place is perfect for a family. Plenty of room. We had two guest there for a few days and they had the lower level to themselves which was great. There’s alot of steps but we considered that exercise. Location was excellent. Close to beach and close to several really good restaurants. Also close to Pier for more restaurants and some great shopping. We stayed for several weeks and found the kitchen to have everything we needed for cooking. We loved this place and will be back next year!

My husband and I have both been coming to St. Simon's Island most of our lives. We are now continuing the tradition with our children!! We love the small town feel, the delicious food, and of course, the BEACH!! St. Simon's laid back atmosphere keeps us coming back year after year.

Why they chose this property

We searched and searched and when we found Oak Street we knew it was home!! The spacious layout is great for our big family. We also love that Oak Street is a very quiet street, but in the middle of everything!! We love to walk over to the King and Prince in the evenings and enjoy the swings with a cocktail in hand!!

What makes this property unique

Walking distance to some of the islands BEST restaurants!! Walking distance to the BEACH!! What more could you ask for!!
