Driftwood Cottage is a craftsman home situated directly on the Ocean. With four bedrooms, four bathrooms and full beds for two in both the living room and the entertainment room, there is plenty of space for everyone in the family. Get cozy with a unique fireplace that hangs in the middle of the living room or unwind in the entertainment room. The wrap around deck is a perfect place to take in the southern exposure while watching the sunset and grilling with the family. Want to get closer to the ocean? No problem, just walk down your own private stairs to the quiet beach right in front of the house. After a long day of play, relax with a steam shower or long soak in the tub with a view of the ocean.

The home was wonderful for our gathering to celebrate birthdays. There was plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is very spacious with lots of counter space and is well equipped. The best part is the beautiful deck and the view of the ocean. We spent a lot of time on the deck and down on the beach. Was a great stay. Thank you!

Best Place on Coast

This is an incredible place! No better view, deck, fireplace, everything! Saw whales off deck. Clean, comfy, great decor, great manager, no better place!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Driftwood Cottage. It’s a very comfortable fit for our multi generational family. Beach access and beautiful views all around. Great tide pooling and younger adults had fun fishing off the beach. We’ve already booked for next summer.

Wonderful gathering place

We had a family gathering of adult children and our grandchildren. Went to the Pirates of the Pacific celebration at the Brookings Harbor. Relaxed on the deck overlooking the ocean. Kids took the stairs down to the beach and explored. Good times!

We had a wonderful time! Many options on how to enjoy the ocean. Whether you walk down the stairs to the beach or stay on the deck it’s amazing. We are already trying to figure out a date to come back.

Family get together

We were celebrating my mother-in-law's 90th bday. The house was easy to access and very comfortable for our family of 7 adults. We did a lot of cooking in the large kitchen. The view was gorgeous from almost every room. It was nice to have 2 bedrooms downstairs, so that my mother-in-law didn’t have to navigate the stairs. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The Gathering Place

The annual gathering place for our friends is a fantastic opportunity to connect and enjoy each other's company. We always have a great time at at this house, and it's something we eagerly look forward to every year. It's a special occasion that brings joy and togetherness while we relax and unwind while overlooking the sunset over the ocean.

30th Mother’s Day weekend together

We are a group of 10 women ranging in age from 60 to 82. This was our 30th year together. We loved the location, the beautiful house and furnishings. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay so very much. The view is incredible. Even the neighbors were friendly! We definitely would stay here again. Thank you!

Great view getaway

The house was perfect for our party of 10, from 2.5 years old to 78. The kitchen was fully stocked. There was plenty of room to spread out in the house. The views and the porch were so lovely. We really loved walking down to the beach to explore several time a day. The area was quiet. We could get to town easily, though by car. Overall a great house, very clean, has all you need for a relaxing stay.

Too stunning for words

We have stayed in many many rentals over the past ten years. We have NEVER stayed anywhere that was as well stocked as this place. It is meticulously clean. I can not think of one item that we wanted, that was not there. It was better stocked than my own house! The view is beyond words, because of the house design. The kitchen is probably the best designed kitchen I have ever seen. This part of the shoreline rivaled any scenery that we saw on the entire Oregon coast. You MUST walk the shore to the south. There are natural stone arches and cliffs that simply take your breath away. I found eight Sea Marbles on the shore!!! There were seven adults in our group. Four siblings and their spouses. It was perfection!

Wonderful House and Setting

This was an amazing house with a beautiful view and beach access. The house had every amenity that our family reunion needed. There was plenty of room for our six adults and an infant, and there were areas secluded enough with good wifi for my daughter to work remotely. The house was very clean, with plenty of personal touches. We appreciated the convenient placement of doormats, shoe sole brushes, brooms and vaccume cleaners, as the beautiful wooden floors deserved respect. The beach was unpopulated and had great tidal pools. The location was close to Brookings where resturants, shopping and entertainment was plentiful. The Pacific Ocean Harvesters Seafood Market had all sorts of fresh seafood that provided us with many enjoyable cook-at-home meals. Parks in the area were plentiful. We did beach walks, redwood hikes, fishing, and general exploring. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone, with the caveate that the beach access is via a 73-step, beautifully crafted set of sturdy stairs with a nice viewing bench set half way. It was one of the better designed stairways I have seen.

This is a beautifully appointed home with a fully stocked kitchen for making wonderful, healthy meals, which is what our women's group did. The views are gorgeous and always changing with the weather, and the location is close to everything. I highly recommend this home for group get-aways, especially with folks who like to cook and eat at home!

Absolutely amazing! The beach in front of the house is a little gravel-y but it's a 5 minute walk up the beach to sandy beach. Stunning location, high quality amenities. Would love to return one day. 6 of my best friends and I stayed here and have 0 complaints. Easy stay, short drive to redwood forest, tons of activities - charming town, recommend pickleball and something on the water.
