Great for families with lots of elbow space and entertainment for all ages. Take a stroll down the beach or a short trip to view or hike through the magnificent redwoods. The accommodations couldn't be better. Clean, beautiful, comfortable. Outdoor, ocean view hot tub. Listen to the pounding surf while you bask in the warmth of the bubbling water..Newly added fire pit. May have wood available. Bring your own marshmallows. THE FISHING IS RESTRICTED FROM THE SHORE ALONG THIS AREA. CALIFORNIA FISH AND GAME HAS NOT "POSTED" BUT ARE KNOWN TO HANDOUT TICKETS WITH LARGE FINES FOR DOING SO.

Great beach house

We love coming to this house every year. Right on the beach (on the bluff over the waves with some stairs down to the beach). Fully equipped, clean, and perfect for day trips to Brookings (to get fresh off-the-boat Dungy crabs) and to the Redwoods just east of Cresent City.

The location on the beach was fantastic. The house is wonderful. Lots of space. Great layout. My only suggestion would be to make it easier to spot the driveway. It’s on the highway, so you need to quickly know when to turn in. Would definitely return.

This home is so comfortable you won’t want to go anywhere. Sitting on the patio watching the ocean, walking on the private beach, enjoying the hot tub and fire pit….it is the best. Well stocked home.

Always a pleasant stay

Our family always enjoys staying here. A short stairway to the beach, a great view of the ocean, and a fun arcade room. I wish the arcade machines were set to free play because we always end up spending like $40 in quarters :-)

Incredible View

We love this place. Ever since our first stay 3 years ago, we’ve made it an annual trip. There’s no guarantee that the weather will be nice but with this place it doesn’t matter because you can at least enjoy the waves that are always in view.

A wonderful house for the whole family

The location was fantastic. We enjoyed hikes in the redwood forests and along the beaches and then headed back to the house to play in the game room, which my children loved.

A gem on the beach

This is a great property with quick access to the beach. Amazing game room which we did not use due to wanting to spend our time outside. Hope to come back again.

Great for families

We've stayed here a few times and have loved it every time. Great location on the beach, very private, not much use on the beach in front of the house. Good rooms and amenities. Short drive to Brookings for anything you need (lots of good food there). Game room is always a hit but a few of the machines had issues or didn't work (only bummer of the trip). Host was very responsive and helpful, looking forward to coming back!

perfect family vacation

We drove all the way from Ohio and were absolutely happy with this property. It was clean and had everything we needed. The view and beach access was incredible. Lounging in the beachfront hot tub was so relaxing. The kids were never bored between the beach and the arcade! One of pur best vacations ever! thank you!

Even better than advertised!

Fantastic home - clean and spacious with easy access to a beautiful beach. Close to the Redwood forest for hiking, the Smith River for kayaking and Brookings for deep sea fishing. The hot tub was a lovely way to wrap up our daily outdoor adventures before hitting the game room.

This house is beautiful!

This is a perfect house for a family vacation! Plenty of room for everyone and so beautiful. We went into Brookings several times for lunches and dinners out and also just to drive around because the scenery is so great. But if you wanted to just hang out at the house, there is so much room and it's so comfortable, there really is no need to go anywhere. I can't say enough good things about this house.

Great in any weather

It's become a new family tradition to celebrate our adult daughter's birthday here each January. With immediate access to the beach you can go down for a couple minutes in bad weather, or spend lots of time exploring when it's nice. And if you stay inside you have an incredible view of the ocean, and a fun arcade room and pool table, so the weather really doesn't matter. It's the perfect place for all ages and all seasons. We love it and hope to build many memories there.
