I loved our time in peaceful valley! My husband and I had the master bedroom. Woke up to deer in the woods, just beautiful! Our adult children had the queen bedroom and found the bed very uncomfortable 😁. Sorry Robin! You were so on top of all our request!!! I hope this doesn't cause you any distress! I would stay again in a minute!9

Dreamy Beach!
Beautiful, private property with a dreamy beach! I would highly recommend this property. Great for families with plenty of space to spread out. We really enjoyed the swimming, rock hunting, kayaking, relaxing in the hammock and fires on the beach in the evening. Glorious sun rises and sunsets!

Wonderful place to stay!
What a private, beautiful home and property. We stayed with our two young children and enjoyed swimming and campfires on the beach in a very private setting. Just 20 minutes away from downtown Traverse City makes the location ideal if you want to feel secluded, but also have quick access to restaurants, breweries and wineries. Would happily stay here again!

Great location and beautiful property
The property was clean and well-maintained. The home was well appointed, from cooking supplies to beach toys and towels. We were so busy with our son's wedding; I wish we had had more time to relax and enjoy the whole setting. We couldn't find a way to turn on the outside lighting however, so had to use our phones and flashlights. The front porch light may have been burned out. Other than that everything was great! I definitely would recommend this property to a friend or relative!

Clean, comfortable, and large
Well equipped and spotless! We had a wonderful girls weekend at Peaceful Valley and hope to return someday with my family as I know my kids would love the gorgeous beach and crystal clear water. The house was very comfortable and relaxing (and clean!). The fire pit on the beach was the highlight and it was so convenient to have pizza delivered right to our door. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the beautiful living room with the cozy gas fireplace and floor to vaulted ceiling views. Would absolutely recommend!

Peaceful and Perfect
We had a picture perfect peaceful 5 days at this absolutely stunning property. The home is lovely and clean with quality tasteful lake themed accents. From bath, to bed, to kitchen, it is completely furnished with every amenity one could need. We loved sipping coffee on the patio and relaxing on the deck overlooking the lakeshore. The ever changing lighting through the trees, the amazing sunsets, and the beauty of this property could only be truly captured in words of an experienced poet. In our words however, we cannot wait to come back.

Perfect For Family Getaway
We just got back from our 3 night stay at the Peaceful Valley Ranch. It was perfect for a family weekend away. We had 5 adults, a 6yr old, as well as an infant and everyone had a fantastic time. The house was beautiful, comfy, and well stocked; seriously so much better than the pictures! The beach access was fabulous. The weather was still on the cooler side but we were able to enjoy the beach anyway. Walking in the sand, tossing a football, fire and s'mores at night. Just a short 15 minute drive from downtown Traverse City where we went for great food and shopping and an hour away from Pyramid Point for a beautiful and very doable hike. Multiple boat rental shacks in the area; we spent one afternoon on the lake floating on a pontoon. Robin was great and so helpful, offering suggestions for boat rentals and places to order a cake for my husband's birthday. We hope to be back next year. Couldn't recommend this rental more!

Fabulous, comfortable house with great view!
We loved the house. It was perfect for our family gathering. The kitchen was well stocked and comfortable to use. It is evident that someone has paid attention to details. Even though it was cold and the wind was gale force, we ventured down to the beach. We would love to return in different seasons to experience the outdoors. It's better than the pictures!

Beautiful Northern Michigan Setting
We (three couples) chose the Peaceful Valley Beach House to bring in the new year and it was a great choice! The house was warm, comfortable and well-appointed. The view of the bay was spectacular and the beach was beautiful even in the winter. We loved the location - close to everything the Traverse City area has to offer. We highly recommend this property!

Girlfriend Getaway
We had a wonderful time at PVBH! Although the weather was a little cool for water sports, we enjoyed walking along the beach and searching for petosky stones. Our days were spent shopping and eating in Traverse City, but loved to return to the beach house in the evening, have some local wine and snacks and catch up on the years that have gone by since our childhood slumber parties!

Beautiful and relaxing
The home was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We were traveling with our son, his wife, and infant daughter, and visiting my elderly mother who lives nearby in a care facility. The location and setting were perfect for us, because it was convenient both to my mother and to the groceries, and yet it is on a quiet road, with good walking/strolling. We happened to have a croquet set with us as well as badminton, and the yard was perfect for lawn games. We all enjoyed the sunsets and view from the living room and deck. I love that the deck is built around the trees, and I really loved the fact that there were so many tall pines in the yard, including one "ginormous" white pine, I believe. The beach is beautiful, and the kayaks and paddleboard add to its enjoyment. The last day there was a deer in the yard, and at night we enjoyed watching a raccoon stroll past. It is a great house to just come and chill out at, and not feel you need to go anywhere to find vacation "activities," which was perfect with a little one and our need to visit Great Grandma multiple times a day. Our son and his wife enjoyed "date night" in Elk Rapids, which is super conveniently located, lacks the congestion of T.C., and has plenty of charm. (Oh, oops, I let out our family secret which goes back several generations!)

Excellent House
This house is an excellent getaway for families. We stayed there with two adults and two children under the age of 4. My family had an amazing trip. The kitchen was well equipped and the house had all the major needs. The biggest key for us was the beach. The water was crystal clear and you could walk out 30 yards and the water was up to your waist. It was perfect for my family. Traverse City was quick ride away. It was the perfect distance to have the local night-life away from you.

This was our first trip to Michigan for a summer vacation and you left nothing to be desired. We had a great time with our two young kids and parents. The small private beach was perfect for our 2 year old and the house was as advertised and accommodating for all. We look forward to coming back!

Outstanding!
We've been vacationing in the Traverse City area for over 25 years. We prefer to stay on the bay. We needed a place that would accommodate 6 of us, since we were with our entire family and their significant others. We were lucky enough to find the Peaceful Valley Ranch house. Beautiful sprawling ranch house. The furnishings are modern. Kitchen equipped with all the essentials. The beach area was great. Nice new fire pit. Observation deck with an incredible view of the lake and magnificent sunsets. Paddle board and kayaks were fun. About a 15 minute drive to downtown TC.
