Lovely stay!! Close proximity to Traverse City and wineries. We brought our daughter's dog and found everything to be dog friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Look forward to having you up again.
This property was an absolute delight to rent. It was extremely clean and comfortable with excellent amenities. Wonderful view and very accommodating property manager. Will definitely stay there again.
The pictures don' t do it justice - I was pleasantly surprised... and the kitchen had everything you would need. We had 3 grandkids and DIL and her mom and husband - Room for everyone.
Wnjoyed our stay thoroughly.
Love this home. We've stayed there previously. The house is immaculate and always updated. The area is close to TC so area jaunts are a snap. The owner, Patrick, is always gracious and helpful. Thanks, guys, for another great vacation!

Awesome Family Getaway!
Great week of relaxation and family fun. The home was warm, welcoming, abundantly supplied and Pat was a great host. He also came through with a beautiful 8" snowfall which made for great hikes, skiing, family Olympics and winter fun. We would recommend to others and hope to return in the future. D Theis

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
The property location on the lake is very nice and the owner was accommodating and easy to work with and quick to respond. The size of the home was great for us and we liked being able to have our dog. However, the home was not as clean as we’d like. Very surface level cleaning at best. Amenities were also very limited. This property is surrounded by other family members properties that most are rented out as well. The 4 cabins next door made it challenging for any privacy as they bring in large groups and the properties seem to overlap a bit. The water in front was fairly rocky, but still a decent area to swim and kids to play. Lots to do around the area, just some observations for the next. 7 out of 10 for us.
We rented the home for a week for a family of five and a small dog. The lake and water are wonderful, the layout of the home was perfect for us with three teenagers. My wife was very impressed by how well the kitchen was stocked. From the spice cabinets to the paper towels, plates, coffee filters, s'mores skewers, extra steak knives, and even a sugar bowl....it's the little things that make a rental so much more comfortable and enjoyable. The kitchen also has a great coffee/beverage station. It was a great week and we hope to make it back.
We visited during the late fall, so the neighborhood was very quiet, just the way we like it! I can’t comment on how it would be in the summer, the house next door seemed very close, if there was a houseful there as well it could seem a bit tight.
The house was very nice, it was just my husband and myself so we never used the upper floor at all. I did go up just to have a look around and everything was very nice there as well. We’d definately return if we’re looking in this area again.
Great lake location about 15 minutes from Traverse City. Easy drive to wineries, cideries, Sleeping Bear Dunes and many other sites. The lake is exceptionally clean and beautiful. The back of the houses faces West so we had amazing sunsets. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed to cook and store food. Sheets and towels were nice and plentiful. The house has AC unlike many other local rentals. The house is exactly as photographed. Ask the property owner for directions as GPS is not quite accurate.
The property is in excellent condition. This log cabin has many amenities. The owner has thought of every need and want, and stocked the home in a fashion that you could find whatever you need: use it to your pleasure. Upon entry you will find a state of the art washer and dryer with all of the necessary cleaning products. The kitchen is beyond expectation. If you wanted to cook anything, you could find the item needed Each room continues in the same vein. Head outside, comfortable chairs around a fire pit. The beauty of the water and the dock area is shallow enough for children to splash and play. I could go on and on, so you must try it for yourself.
My family of 3, my parents and our small dog had a great time at this property and the area. We visited Traverse City, Suttons Bay, Charlevoix, and Glen Arbor. The home is beautiful and Lake Leelanau is steps away out the back patio. The owner, Patrick, was easy to get ahold of for any questions we had. The home had everything you need: kitchen was equipped with plenty of pots, pans, dishes, even foil, plastic wrap, etc. There were even blow dryers provided in both bathrooms. Just a couple things we had problems with. Coffee pot did not work correctly. I had spoke with owner and he had expected a new one was to be delivered before we had arrived. I ended up buying one from Walmart for us to use. Got to have our coffee! The bathroom upstairs has a bathtub/shower, but be aware this is a bathtub with VERY high sides and not very accessible for everyone. Most of us were afraid to try and use it, but the walk in shower in the main level bathroom was much better! We love this area to vacation and will be back! Thank you Patrick for a very relaxing time at your beautiful home at Lake Leelanau!

Kellie was a great guest. I'd be happy to have her and her family back again.
The coffee maker has been replaced with a nice Bunn.
Thanks
Check-in was easy and great. The kitchen had tons and tons of useful items, that we had to keep checking every single cupboard when we wanted to find something. Some sort of hints about where different items were would be good. Wi-Fi access was great. Patrick responded quickly, so communication was good. Cleanliness was not great. Many areas had not been dusted or had just had a swiffer brushed over them and not the entire items were dusted. Lots of dust bunnies under the beds. A broken screen stuffed with something in major guest room bathroom, and a broken handle on the outdoor steps were off-putting and the latter quite dangerous. The upstairs bathroom is a claw-foot bathtub one must climb into; not very safe for unsteady elderly folks. If you have really young ones with you, there is no shallow water they can stand in. Yes, the beach is sandy at the end of the pier, but it is much too deep for little ones. The rocks leading out to that area are almost impossible to navigate. The bed in the master bedroom is wonderful, but the ones upstairs really need replacing. I hate to sound so critical, so it is best you know that I am very particular when I spend this kind of money for a week's vacation. That said, the cabin at Margie's really was quite nice in terms of space and amenities; it would be better with some improvements. The fire pit was great, and we enjoyed several nights sitting around the fire. I recommend Margie's if you do not have little kids.
Beautiful cottage-huge, right on the lake, great location and had all of the items you could need. We appreciated being able to have our dogs with us. We had two issues while we were there…1. the listing said low bugs and when we were here the mayflies hatched and there were swarms of them everywhere so we hardly went outside and didn’t use the deck, dock or Adirondack chairs/firepit, which was unfortunate. We had no idea about the mayflies. 2. When we arrived on Sat, a group of guys (renters next door) were sitting in the chairs around the firepit drinking and at 4, they started a fire which went until after midnight. We thought maybe it was a shared area, so we didn’t say anything. Messaged owner, didn’t hear back, texted the next day and he said it was ours and to shoo them away. They ended up leaving so no more issues. We arrived at the cottage last night and this time another group of guys, drinking with a fire in the firepit, sitting in our chairs had also decided to park in our driveway too. We said something to them and they said they were told they could park there and use the firepit, I share this, as you may want to check with the owner on these things prior to renting. The firepit is right outside of the sliding door/deck so we closed the shades because you can see right into the cottage.Otherwise, everything was great with the cottage, location, etc.
Had a wonderful time. Would have preferred to have access to water other than via dock with ladder. A sea wall prohibited this. Also, waterfront has no shade whatsoever; no trees, no overhang, pergola, etc. Umbrella on deck created no relief from sun. Home was well equipped and as others stated, online pictures do not do justice.
All ok, except check in. Have to have WiFi in order to call to get password. Luckily, one of us in our group had one bar to call. Plus prior to arrival, no instructions
The house was wonderful! Unfortunately the may flies had hatched and the fishing was not great but the lake is gorgeous! My only suggestion for the house is to upgrade the mattresses, they were not comfortable and also the skillets need replaced but all other cookware and kitchen utensils was great. We enjoyed the games, sitting on the deck and sitting around the fire ring and exploring Sutton’s Bay and sleeping bear dunes. Overall it was awesome and I would highly recommend the place.
The perfect winter getaway! The pictures and description do not do this cabin justice . Beautiful, cozy and so clean!!! Fully stocked kitchen. Close to Sutton’s bay , while also within 20 mins of downtown TC. The perfect location! We fit our group of 10 comfortably. The owner was very responsive and very kind. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your slice of paradise! Would love to return to Marjies place for a summer getaway.
Everything in the house was clean, stocked and as promised. Pat the owner was not too responsive when I asked if he offered a military or health care provider discount. I asked him 4 times but never received a response.
