4 BR Lakefront Home Perfect for Beach and Wine Holidays. Skaha Beach-100 steps!
Our lovely 4 bedroom home faces directly on to Skaha Park and Beach. For some reason the VRBO map says it is a 7 minute walk to the beach but it's more like 7 seconds to the park and 30 seconds to the beach!
We have a formal dining and living room, a family room with a 55" smart UHD 4K TV (Netflix), and a kids games room with a 42"TV and pool table. There are also two pullout couches in the games room. There are four bedrooms: three are standard sized bedrooms with queen beds. The master bedroom will provide someone with a lovely oasis. It is so large that it feels a bit like a self-contained apartment with a king sized bed, a 42" TV, and a two comfy chairs. Guests love the walk in river rock shower in the master bedroom en-suite.
In addition to the master en-suite , there are two more bathrooms, both of which are newly renovated, one with a shower and the other with a shower and bathtub.
All four bedrooms have air conditioning. We do not have central air conditioning on the main floor. We do have many fans and the lower floor of the house generally remains pleasantly cool.
A large two car garage provides ample room for storing bikes, golf clubs or other recreational equipment. Although our sons have grown and moved away, we have kept many children's books and games (and games for adults). We also have four kayaks that guests are welcome to use as well as a variety of sports equipment
The private backyard is fully fenced and gated with a large deck and BBQ area as well as a 2020 Coast Spas six person hot tub.
Twenty steps from our front door, you will find Skaha Park, which features the following amenities: sandy beach, concessions and ice cream, a marina, water-spray park, tennis courts and volleyball courts, softball diamond, two playgrounds, and an outdoor in-line hockey rink. The nearest neighborhood pub, the Dragonboat Pub is a five minute walk across the park.
The Bluffs, a world class rock climbing/hiking destination is less than a ten minute drive from our home. Many people prefer the Skaha Lake (south) end of Penticton. There are many recreational opportunities but because there are fewer motels, it is much quieter at night.
It is also perfect for a long ski weekend ( it is a 35 minute drive from our driveway to the Apex parking lot) or as a base for touring the dozens and dozens of close by wineries. There is not a better location for a family vacation in Penticton.
This is not a rental property - this is our family home that we share a few times each year with other families that will enjoy and respect our home. We are fully licensed.

Why they chose this property
Our property is a spacious, inviting family home filled with every amenity you could need. The backyard is private and perfect for BBQs or enjoying our new six person hot tub. We are only 100 steps to Skaha Beach. Within steps are two playgrounds, tennis courts, exercise equipment a waterspray park, a softball diamond, an in-line skating rink, and a marina.
