Excellent cabin for a relaxing weekend getaway for two. The location is ideal, just minutes from downtown Twain Harte and conveniently close to attractions along Highway 108.During our stay, we enjoyed hiking the Columbia Ditch Trail, cider tasting at Indigeny Cider, and dinner at The Rock. We also appreciated having a quiet evening meal at the cabin.The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed for a great stay. We would happily stay here again.

This is a small cabin on a private road .8 miles from Twain Harte. It was a good basecamp for Pinecrest, nice hike around the lake, Murphys we stumbled on a festival, Sonora we strolled Main and shopped vintage/antiques. The walk from the cabin is less than a mile although the road wasn't the best for walking we did it every morning. The cabin is clean with a large comfortable king bed, a futon to watch TV, kitchen with dishwasher, deck with a grill. It was quiet and we enjoyed the roosters crowing in the morning. We watched deer on the hill behind us every morning and cabin has many windows to let the light in. Also window shades if you want to hole up. We had our own parking pad and there was also a washer and dryer.

What a lovely cabin in the mountains. A newly built property with all you need for a cozy stay. Very comfortable mattress and futon. The host even left coffee and creamer in the refrigerator. Lots of windows, all with screens, means you can leave them open all night (in the summer) and stay cool.

Very simple, perfect getaway for the wife and I. The cabin has all the accessories we needed. Even included coffee, cream & filters for the coffee pot. I feel like that is usually overlooked, but not here. The drive to downtown Twain Harte was 3 minutes which was very convenient. Nice and secluded, which is exactly what we were looking for. We will be back.

We had a quick last minute get a way to Crane's cabin. It was all we hoped for. Clean and comfortable with all the comforts of home. It served as a great base for our day trips to Kennedy Meadows and Pinecrest. The host was quick to communicate with us when we asked a question. Relaxing on the deck and looking at the stars each night was a great way to end our day. We will be back!

Perfect little cabin!

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely little cabin. The location is great, secluded, and private yet only a short trip into Twain Harte. The cabin itself was very clean, modern and had many special touches that you don't usually see in a rental. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Cozy Getaway

Very informative host that had a clean cabin waiting for us. My wife ,I ,and our two dogs had a very restful time in the cabin and we were not to far from pinecrest. Will be staying here again!

Great little cabin

We loved everything about our stay. It was in a great location, walking distance to town yet still secluded. Everything was very clean and comfortable, even the futon! My husband and I along with our 2 year old and dog had a great time.

Wonderful Weekend Stay

Cozy cabin in the woods

I loved my stay in this quaint cabin in the woods. Check-in was easy, the cabin is sparkling clean, very comfortable and has a full kitchen to make your own meals. I wanted a place close to Stanislaus Forest for day hiking and this fit the bill perfectly.

Great Little Getaway

Amazing Cabin in the Woods

My wife and I stayed at the Cranes cabin with our dog over Christmas and had a wonderful time. The cabin is just the right size, very well maintained and stocked with everything we needed. The Cranes are wonderful hosts and made our holiday away from home amazing! We’ll definitely be looking to stay here the next time we visit Twain Harte and we highly recommend a stay if you’re in town.

Lovely stay

We so enjoy every aspect of this cabin. We felt so welcomed. The decor, linens and amenities were so thoughtfully chosen. The deck is a favorite. We will definitely return and discover the cabin in wintertime.
