My Family traveled with 3 adults, 2 teens and a senior dog. The Base Camp had the perfect amount of space for all of us! It was clean, cute and cozy! We really enjoyed our stay!

Home Base was Great!

We stayed there for a quick winter trip to Dodge Ridge. The neighborhood was nice and the cabin was well equipped and tidy. Super convenient location and easy to access all you needed. It’s a good space for a small family. We were two adults, a kid, and a dog.

Overall very pleased with the cozy cabin. Just right for small family of two parents and teenage son. Safe neighborhood good for walking the dog, and close to restaurants in Twaine Harte and the snow/ski resorts. Kitchen was nicely appointed and stocked. Rooms were cozy and fireplace heater warmed the space nicely. The bathroom could be a bit more updated, but otherwise good hot water and water pressure. Perfect for our weekend getaway.

Excellent quiet location in the mountains

We were able to have a small camp sitr for the kids outside. The kitchen, patio setup allowed us to cook and seat a several people. Bike ride and run through the neighborhood was quiet. Set in nature setting.

The address said it was in Twain Harte, but the cabin is in Sugar Pine. It’s not really an issue because you’re closer to Alicia’s Sugar Shack

Into The Woods We Went

Great experience all around, from check-in to check-out. Clear instructions and expectations. The cabin was very lovely, so cozy and homey. Beautiful area! Well stocked kitchen, we had everything that we need. The tasty coffee was a bonus! If you want to feel like you're on a super relaxing retreat in a wood cabin in the middle of the woods, book this place. You won't be disappointed. Very cute and fun.

The cabin was perfect. The hot tub wasn't working and I didn't catch that on the description but the house itself, grounds and host were awesome. I text the owner about something and she got right back to me. I would have booked it in the next 2 weeks but it was already gone. Darn!
