Our little Studio is deceiving... rustic farm on the outside and stylish retreat in the inside. Formerly a working farm shed the space has been converted into a cosy retreat perfect for watching the days go by or recovering after a big day out and about.
There is a dedicated bedroom with a Queen sized bed. We supply all linen, 100% cotton, feather and down quilts. Additional beds can be added in the group space with an option of 2 additional single beds. Please note this will limit your living space and must be requested when booking prior to arrival.

In the building adjacent you'll find a cosy group space for relaxing or watching a movie on the 3 metre wide 'cinema style’ big screen including a cosy fireplace. Bring a favourite DVD or hire a movie via Netflix or iTunes.

While the bungalow has a well equipped kitchenette, you also have access to the fully optioned kitchen in the renovated dairy alongside. This is complete with larger fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher, all cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, etc., you will need to cook up a feast with all the amazing produce from the area, or to just to whip up some popcorn to snack on while you watch a movie.

Host profile image
I moved to this area in 2006, and despite life throwing a few curve balls at me, stayed and decided to settle with my 2 boys. I later met my partner Tim who is my absolute rock. I studied Equine Assisted Learning in 2012 and have since completed a grad dip in counselling. Together with my life lessons, Education background and love of horses I wanted to set up a place where people could come to learn more about them than just jumping on and riding them. Horses are such magnificent sentient beings that can teach us a lot.

Why they chose this property

I bought this place in 2009. It was the worst house in the best street, and at the time I wondered what I was thinking. We are nestled in the area referred to locally as 'The Hoddle', with the old Hoddle train station almost at our front gate. Every day I wake up and feel so blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the world and be able to do what I love. We just want to share this with others and help support the Equine Therapy work we are doing.

What makes this property unique

Our property has a lovely calming quality, and is a very grounding space to stay. We always get feedback from guests that they have never slept so well before. I think the calming energy of the horses and the peaceful surroundings make for a wonderful place to relax, regroup and rejuvenate the soul.
