Been coming here for years and it always feels like coming home. Sure, the house could use some fixes but not enough to deter me from staying year after year

A very quaint cabin in the woods. We used it as a launching pad for our rafting in the Trukee, visiting with friends at Meeks bay and enjoying (the fun part of camping) with ourgrandkids at Sugar Pine Point. We could then come home to a comfortable bed, warm shower and peace and quiet.
Staying in Tahoma was a pleasure and blast at this 1 bedroom home. It was clean, comfortable, a great and mellow location, with perfect trail access, and even had normal amenities you’d keep in your own mountain getaway. Will likely return!
The experience was overall really nice, it’s a nice property for a couple or two friends if you are comfortable sleeping in one bed
The grill came in very handy
I do wish they had one of those “the lay around the land” guest books where they give suggestions of where to eat and where to go for scenic views (like eagle rock)
we enjoyed this tahoma vacation. the cabin was tidy and quiet. the neighborhood is in a convenient location, walking distance to morning coffee, groceries and restaurants, and the lake. highly recommend it!
Albeit small, the place was clean and comfortable.
Maybe a good idea to keep a few bandaids around.

Was unable to secure first choice of cabin due to cleaning issues for the next rental. Was told we were being upgraded to a 2 bedroom unit with a hot tub. We had no use for 2 bedrooms the hot tub did not work and the bedroom TV did not work. Our overall experience was poor but was 100% avoidable due to poor attention to details. Everything not listed above was great. This was a special occasion spoiled.
Quaint and clean cabin. The bed was comfortable and TV’s worked great. Bathroom was small but clean. Kitchen appliances worked great and was glad they offered a Keurig and regular coffee machine.
Stayed here multiple times and never disappointed. The place could use a little sprucing up and screens on all of the windows but it suits me just fine. It gets pretty warm in the afternoon so having open windows is a must but the bears must have torn them down recently.
The house itself is clean and has was you need for a couple with a dog. The area is well positioned to visit Sugar Pine Preserve. The immediate neighborhood is ok. A little scrappy in some areas and the immediate neighbor has a lot of “stuff” strewn about. We were out most of the day so it suited us well.

This cabin is nicely situated in Tahoma which offers a lot of quiet flat walking streets. It's even walking distance from the little store. It was tidy and well-equiped. We had an issue with the wifi one day but were able to troubleshoot it ourselves. We will definitely consider renting this place in the future.
Cute little cabin, perfect for a couples getaway or parents + 1 kid. Has all the cooking amenities, smart TV with regular channels + USB input, easy-to-use gas fireplace. Bed is just OK - sofa bed is fine for a kid but adults would probably not be comfortable. Wifi was slow; 2 bars of 5G was faster. Pleasant neighborhood walk to Dog & Bear Tavern for tasty dinner with friendly locals. Very clean but looking a little worn around the corners. Other reviewers mentioned the multiple-email checkin + info sharing process - agree it's excessive compared with other property managers.

Great location!
Great location! Close to the beach and many great restaurants and shops! The home is not accurately described in the listing. The home shares a deck with an adjacent property. Not as private and a bit too close for comfort. The adjacent property had a lot of items spread out around their yard. The home also had an unpleasant smell. Couldn’t figure out what it was, if it was old cigarette smell or a musty smell. The bedding, and furniture also had stains making the home not feel as comfortable or enjoyable. The bed mattress also sunk in the middle which was uncomfortable. The home was stocked with basic needs for cooking and preparing food. Getting in and out of the property was easy.

Great location, property needs some changes
We love this area of Tahoe- the neighborhood is great for biking with kids and is quiet.
The beds in the rental were very uncomfortable and loud. No of us got a good night sleep. There were stains on a lot of the upholstery and pillows.
There is no privacy. There is no where to sit where you aren’t looking into someone else’s property.
A lot of missed details- no sponges, old/dirty soap dish in bathroom, etc.
I do not recommend this place.
Pros:
Location is awesome for getting north or south. Clean. Most basic necessities were included. Comfortable queen bed. Ample closet space. Plenty of towels and wash clothes. It's a pleasant, modest cabin.
Cons:
Because there is no A/C, we had to keep the windows open but none of them had screens. So there were tons of bugs always flying in. Fairly annoying. No fans other than one ceiling fan in each of the two rooms made it difficult to keep the temperature reasonable. There was no mention of the coffee maker in the owner instructions. There is only a Keurig so be sure to bring your own pods or your own method of making coffee.
