This log cabin is situated on the bank of the world famous Kenai River; only 20 steps will get you from the front door to the private fishing dock. You can catch sockeye, king and silver salmon; even some rainbow trout. There is a fish cleaning station as well as a vacuum sealer and a large deep freezer for your catch of the day.
The property is located approximately 2 ½ miles from Fred Meyer in downtown Soldotna. All amenities are included – linens, utensils, fully furnished living room, washer/dryer. The cabin has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. This will sleep 7 comfortably. Each bedroom has a queen bed. The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and 2 twin beds. Downstairs bedroom has a queen bed. It has a living room with wood stove and a sofa bed, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Cleaning of the cabin is provided for any extended stays.
The only problem the property has is the guests must bring their own toothbrush and will not want to leave once they arrive.
We rent this cabin to visitors during the summer months but also have long term lease options available for a special rate.

The property was just as described. With all of the amenities, this property felt like home. After staying in hotels in Soldotna over the past 5-years, this is the best way to go. Great property, great time

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin. Maurice and Sarah had everything there that we would need. They are close to town if you forgot anything or want to grab a bite to eat... nut why would you when you are all set up to just prepare and eat your catch right there! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
