The house was absolutely beautiful and our large group did not feel crowded at all. The kitchen was well stocked for all of our cooking. Deborah answered messages quickly and was very helpful with any questions we had. It’s in a great location and I hope that we can return next year.

This was one of the nicest properties we have stayed at. There were sufficient number of bedrooms and bathrooms. The gathering area was larger than it appeared in photographs. We would definitely come to this rental property again. We were a party of 21, and we were all very comfortable.

Our stay at 9 Porpoise was wonderful. The home was nicely decorated, very clean, spacious and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing week in Maine. The layout was great for our large family reunion. Plentiful comfortable bedrooms and 8 bathrooms! Two screened in porches, patio and firepit. We could walk to the pier/restaurants, local sandwich shop and market. Drove about 10 mins to nice beaches and downtown. The hosts are right next door - so it’s easy to chat with them anytime. They clearly take pride in maintaining this great home. *important to know that parking rules are strict and limited to 6 vehicles.

Clean and roomy to accommodate our large group of 9 adults and 6 children (ages 20 months-69 years old.) Lots of space to play, puzzle, read or enjoy outdoors. Parking is very strict (owner resides next door and enforced.) Even though house accommodates 23 people, only 6 cars permitted to park in large driveway. Huge outdoor patio with fire pit and screened porches were a plus. Many of us were awakened at 12:45am with smoke alarm. Owner explained this could happen with humidity but only occurred during 1 night while the whole week was humid. Very clean but left with minimal cleaning products to maintain cleanliness. Plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, coffee machines, griddle, blender, etc. but limited cooking knives for meal preparation. Appreciated walking distance to local market which provided many groceries and items for our stay. Read all house rules before planning your stay. Some may change prior to your arrival - not able to cook lobster implemented after booking. We ordered cooked lobster which was close by and reasonably priced.

They be clear the 6 car rule is not one I created. Kennebunkport has Short Term Rental rules which I need to follow to keep my license to rent. We always leave the house very clean as noted by the guest. We provide kitchen dish soap, special cleaning tools and cleaning products for the glass cooktop, new wrapped sponge, Laundry supplies, kitchen towels and mitts , vacuum cleaner in upstairs closet. Tenant complained that she couldn’t find it because it wasn’t in the kitchen. There is no closet in kitchen that would hold a vacuum or broom etc. l have been a host for over 20 years and no one has ever complained about the lack of cleaning supplies. As for smoke detector alarm going off…this is not unusual as we are next to the ocean and had significant humidity that night. When we came over with batteries and asked which one alarmed none of the tenants knew. It ended up being the one in the utility room behind the house, not in the house. As for parking, it is very easy to fit the 7 cars up the long private road going to the house. It is very simple and there is even a diagram in the front entry of the house. Tenant made a great suggestion—have someone in your group read the information from the Welcome package before you arrive. It is only a few pages but it gives you everything you need to know about the house before you arrive.

This is an amazing house! We rented it for our college friend’s wedding and it couldn’t have been more perfect! It was so spacious and perfect for a big group of people. Everything about the house and stay was immaculate. We couldn’t have asked for anything better!

July 4th Family fun

Extremely large house that fit all of us with ease. It was great having a fire pit and grill and two screened in porches to enjoy meals outside without the hassle of bugs.

Great place in a lovely location

The house is plenty big enough for our 17 members in are family. The 2 screened porches were a great place to hang out and there are many local restaurants and businesses within walking distance or a short drive.

We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience at Lupine Lodge! With a family of 12 ranging in age from 79 to 9, the accommodations couldn’t be more perfect. We enjoyed the outdoor space for morning coffees and afternoon cookouts. The large open living space was wonderful for our game nights. Highly recommended 10/10! You won’t be disappointed.

Great property. Very clean and spacious. Wonderful outdoor areas. Two lovely screened in porches and a great hardscaped area with outdoor tables and terrific firepit. Neighborhood was quiet with an easy walk to a great local market- Bradburys that had anything we needed. Debra and her husband were next door and very helpful. Would definitely rent here again. My group of 12 college friends loved it!

UVM reunion

The group totally enjoyed our stay. The only problem I ran into was that the number of cars allowed was not made explicit until two days before our stay.

It is very important that GUESTS and especially potential guests read the House Rules and other info on VRBO site before you book or at least before you arrive. Part of this includes the Parking RULES which are on the site!! In addition to numbers of vehicles (6) there is a requirement that the private road not be blocked so to prevent a potential emergency requiring an emergency vehicle to approach the house. Six is quite a few vehicles on property. If you need more than 6 vehicles, there are other options as explained on VRBO and as explained on VRBO site! Thank you for planning ahead!

Great Family Getaway

The accommodations were great for the size of our group, with plenty of beds and restrooms. Kitchen had all of the appliances needed, and each room was well equipped and comfortable. A short walk to a grocery story and a few restaurants, and short drive to a number of locations for food, shopping and entertainment.

Perfect property for our post holiday getaway!

We were a large group of friends, family and kids gathering for a post holiday getaway. Property was very clean, had everything we needed in the kitchen and accommodated everyone. The layout was perfect and allowed for our large group to be together but never felt crowded. Would recommend as a 10/10.

A wonderful escape!

This house was amazing! It was big enough for our family and the number of bathrooms and bedrooms was perfect! We really enjoyed the screened in porches and the fact that we could all eat together in the huge living/dining:kitchen space! We so glad that we stayed here!
