The breathtaking view starts when you pull into the driveway! With this house its all about the view. Each and every room has a spectacular view of the lake. As you enter the main level you will find the view equally amazing from the kitchen to the living room and from the couch to the kitchen table. Once you are upstairs in the master suite you see the view is just as spectacular from the balcony as it is from the bed. Even the two downstairs bedrooms have a pristine view of the water. If sitting outside on the deck is your thing then this is the place for you! There are decks on every level for your enjoyment. The deck even leads all the way down to the shoreline. This property is located on the main channel of the Cumberland River and not allowed a dock permit. We do have dock access on the bay side of the street, it just 75 yards from the front door.

All holidays require a 4 night minimum stay.

No more than 2 pets are allowed. There is a $100 fee for each pet.

 There is room for 2-3 cars in the driveway. There is plenty of room for over flow parking, just let me know and I’ll show you where it is.

 There is cable tv in the living room on the main floor only.

 Free wifi is available.

 The entry or “main” floor has no bedrooms. The master bedroom is upstairs on the 1st floor and the 2 guests bedrooms are on the 3rd floor (basement).

 There is a full bath on the 1st and 3rd floor (basement). The main floor has a half bath.

 There is a washer and dryer in the basement bathroom.

~Sleeps 6 comfortably, rates are based on 8 or less guests. Additional guests are $25 daily each. Please plan additional sleeping arrangements for more than 6 guests.

 ALL your linens are provided. I always recommend bringing your pillow for your comfort.

 The kitchen has basic pots and pans and utensils for your general cooking needs.

 There is a full size fridge and freezer in the kitchen.

 The neighborhood is located on a dead end street and is usually very quiet.

 Our neighbors’ kids play in the street so please drive with caution.

 The grill is propane and the propane is provided. Bring a lighter as ours tend to walk off.

 The outdoor grill is not cleaned by the cleaning staff, please clean up after yourself. Also, please
excuse the last guest for not listening to the first part of this statement.

 The steps on the deck will lead you all the way to the shoreline.

 The water is gently sloping and you can swim from the shore.

 The bottom of the lake is rocky and semi-muddy. I recommend wearing lake shoes.

 Yes, you can fish from the shoreline. KY fish and game laws apply, licenses are available online.

 You can use all 3 docks on the bayside of the street.

 Everyone is welcome to come to the end of the street and use my lot on the point. I do ask that you respect our privacy.

With being on the lake there is always a chance of bugs, please understand we do everything we can to keep the outside of the house clean but sometimes it just is not possible. June, July, and August have what is called a Mayfly hatch occasionally, they do not bite and are good for fishing.

We offer a complimentary 5 person pass to the Lake Barkley State Park Fitness Center. There they have several types of weight lifting equipment, indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. (off-site)
• We have 6 pontoon boats available for rent. They are shared between all of our rental houses and I do recommend you reserve in advance, our rental website is enjoylakebarkley.com (Click on boats). The boats are always docked at our COVERED dock. Once I have given you safety instructions you are allowed to use the boat from sunrise to sunset. NO night use. If you are out after dark I will assume you are missing and emergence personnel will be notified. An additional $300 deposit will be held for the boat. If you choose to use a card for the deposit the charge will never post unless damage is done.
• No penalty for boat rain outs. If you reserve we do ask that you plan on using the boat or it will be deducted from your deposit. No half day rentals. (Boat rental is "seasonal" april thru september)
 I always recommend you bring your food with you. Our grocery stores are no comparison to the stores most are used to in the city.
