What a great location, just minutes from Jellybean Row and downtown attractions such as George Street and the harbour. (lots of hills though) :) and minutes from Signal Hill and the airport.The apartment has all the amenities you might expect. We would definitely recommend
My Mom and I stayed at Kathi's apartment last week. We were very pleased with how clean and easy it was to settle in and feel at home. Cutely decorated and in a great walkable area. It is exactly how it is shown in the pictures, which always worries me when booking. Highly recommend!!

Excellent loation and great property for a downtown St. John's stay
This apartment is quaint and clean. It gives you the real Newfoundland feel. It is perfectly located to be able to enjoy downtown and the harbor. My only complaint would be that the host is not very responsive to emails or text messages.
This apartment is located close to everything. It is comfortable and charming place. Some routine maintenance does need to happen (fixing the broken curtain rod so it doesn’t fall apart when trying to close the curtain for example). It was a very enjoyable stay.

Kathie was excellent to deal with and was prompt with replies, providing options and suggestions on local events. Very accommodating and flexible (apartment was available and she provided access for early check in).

PROs: Roomy one bedroom suite on second floor with full kitchen, washer/dryer, etc. that is nicely decorated. Less than 10 minute walk to main downtown street. Located in jelly bean district. Very private - we heard footsteps above us but never saw anyone. Parking included which is on the street but within half a block; most of the time we parked literally right out front. CONs: No air conditioning. Has new windows which open and can get cross breeze but it can get very hot. (One window AC unit would do the whole unit.) Finishing leaves a little to be desired, e.g., bathroom floor boards have large gaps, boards for towel rack shows nails, fridge wobbles when you open the door. Not enough to dissuade us from renting it again, just needs a little TLC (not an inexperienced DIYer) to be really nice. TV is small and attached to wall on other side of room from couch.Summary: Would definitely rent again for the price, location, and size.
Perfect spot. We really enjoyed. Be aware uphill both ways only happens in St John’s 😃😂. Make sure you’re physically able.
They need to figure out better black out curtains in the bedroom or bring an eye mask.
Clean apartment with a comfortable bed, kitchen & bathroom facilities laid out well as pictured. Street parking is a bit to become familiar with as a newcomer, no concept of various parking zones.

Accomodation better than expected. Any problems encoutered corrected immediately. Great place!
Only negative was parking. Twice given a $40 parking ticket for violating street washing bi-law. How in the world can a tourist know what night the street is being cleaned and not to park there. Ignorance of the law no excuse?
Some pissed we were!
Cute, cozy & roomy, well equiped suite. Hostess is amazing - itroduced us to our new best friends and steered to local entertainment and good pubs. The funest part of the city very walkable from the unit ( a bit hilly). We're already thinking of a return.
The host was fabulous - quick to respond, was incredibly helpful and generous - the place is in a super ideal location - easy to get to all the places downtown by foot and a great hike to signal hill all accessible - I would definitely recommend this place and stay there again - Thank you
I arrived late in the evening and didn't have access to WiFi so getting in was a challenge until I was able to get a connection. Note to self, write it down or print out the details.It was great to have a washer and dryer since my luggage didn't make it on my flight. The only downside was that I lost an earring in the bathroom sink because there was no drain cover
