Best cabin we have ever stayed in!! Top notch appliances, gas fireplace and outdoor fireplace, Treager grill,big screen TV, rain shower and all furniture extremely comfortable. Kim was so friendly and checked in on us. Close to everything, but still private. Can’t wait to stay there again!

Great location but needs things addressed from safety standpoint.

The house is located close to Dollywood and a lot of other tourist attractions and restaurants. It’s got great privacy and the hot tub was nice touch. The issues we had were 1) oven was not functioning for the entire trip so the meals I bought and planned to cook were wasted. 2) there was a horrible smell in the cabin upon arrival. It became increasingly worse each day. We finally figured out it was the propane tank and were able to turn the valve off but I would be hesitant to stay again because the response from management was dismissive. We handled the problem ourself but I feel there should have been some immediacy to resounding to your guest when there is an “alleged” gas leak. It was unsafe so I would want future guests to ask if it had been addressed before bringing your family. I would also encourage guest to make sure the kitchen is fully functional before arriving. The shower valves were backwards in one shower and water pressure is low in the main downstairs bath. Also, the cabin has very limited storage space so plan on keeping most items in your suitcase for your stay and bring something to hold any pantry items as there is not a one that is unlocked for usage. The cabin was mostly clean upon arrival but the stairs were not clean and there were areas in the loft that were really dusty.

We really loved our stay, the kitchen was fancy and cool to use. The beds were clean and comfy. The couch and fireplace was our favorite spot to relax after a long day hiking.

Close to Dollywood

It was very hard to get a hold of the property manager, I left a few voicemails in order to get the code for the door; finally she called me 10minutes before the check in time and gives me the code. Everything after that was great but I was starting to think that if I didn’t hear from her I’d have to start looking for another hotel. Definitely not something you want to do after a long drive and a toddler. In the end everything worked out. Location was great. Do bring hand soap.

Perfect for our family trip!

We had two kids and two adults on our trip and we couldn't have asked for a better place! Property was close enough to visit the areas we desired but far enough away to be able to relax. Other houses were far enough away to feel private but could get to them if in an emergency. Didn't have any issues finding it and was delightfully surprised when driving up. Place was clean and thoughtfully decorated! Had what we needed. Didn't worry while we were there about anything.

Great little cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay in Moonshine. The property is very secluded yet super close to Dollywood, the Island off the Parkway and convenient to Gatlinburg. Everything we needed was provided (I was even able to cook a pretty big Thanksgiving dinner that day!) I hope to be back soon! I would highly recommend this cabin!

We stayed here for a birthday trip to Dollywood for our daughter! It was so nice to come home to a quiet and cozy cabin after 2 crazy and fun days at the park. This adorable cabin had everything we needed! We will definitely be back and explore more of Pigeon Forge next time!

The Moonshine cabin fit our needs perfectly! It was clean, comfortable and central to everything in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It had everything a cabin should without a mountain top view and nightly rental to go with. It was easy to get to, easy to relax in and perfect for our families budget (which was middle of the road:)

Perfect cabin getaway

It is not possible to say how much we enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The cabin and décor were perfect for our family getaway. It was just far enough out of town to be secluded, but not so far that you couldn't make a trip to the store if needed. The navigation system directions made the first trip to the cabin a little interesting and I am glad that we arrived while it was still daylight. After looking at a map and finding the main roads to the cabin, the trip was much easier. I would stay here again.

Sulpur water,No gas in grill or for charcoal

Place wasn't bad, the water needs a filter for the Sulphur water, there was no gas in the Gas Grill or any lighter for the charcoal. Has to pan sear T-Bones (Not good). We liked the cabin but probably would not stay there again. For the money we have stayed in MUCH nicer with the amenities' of at least gas for the grill. The hot tub was cold and the jets did not work,
