Relax and enjoy this grand lodge set on 9-plus acres in Lake Placid just minutes from Main Street, bordering State land with endless miles of hiking trails from the house and access to private neighborhood pond with kayak. Sleeps 10. 4 bedrooms plus bonus room: including master suite with king bed and bedroom 1 with queen, bedroom 2 with full bed, bedroom 3 with full bed, bonus room with 2 twin. 3 full baths plus 1/2 bath. Towels and bedding provided.

Huge living room with 33- foot vaulted ceiling. Weber grill, Viking stove, copper sinks, fire pit, treehouse, tree swings, and more.

Access to full home and grounds, only exception is owners storage in garage.

We're just a call away and located in Lake Placid.

Private and state land surrounding property. Three trail heads from yard, 2 in back and one from driveway. Green Kayak and paddle at neighborhood pond off Stone Road cul-de-sac. Also a 1 mile hike to pond on trail from driveway.

Family New Years

We spent our annual family New Year's here. The property is beautiful, clean and spacious. Slightly off the beaten path which offers true privacy. Everyone had a fantastic time and Mimi could not have been more welcoming and helpful through our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone

Excellent location and space galore!

This house has plenty of space for larger groups. We came with 4 couples and 2 teenagers and could accommodate all with ease and room to spare. The location of this house is perfect! Secluded with plenty to do outside the front door PLUS very close to town. I’d stay here again.

Perfect winter getaway spot

Mimi’s beautiful home strikes the perfect balance between isolated privacy and proximity to all that the town/area of Lake Placid has to offer. We (my wife, two-year old son, cousin, his wife and two kids) could have spent the entire week on the idyllic property, cozying up to the fire in the gorgeous great room and exploring the miles of trails that extend from the backyard into untouched state forest. While this did occupy much of our time here, we were also able to snowshoe and XC ski numerous trails less than 15 min away, and also hit up the wonderful dining spots in town. The house itself was immaculate, cozy, and stocked with everything we needed. Mimi is an incredible host, checking in to ensure we were having the best stay possible. Can’t recommend this place/host enough!

Perfect private getaway

We loved this property! It was the perfect location because it’s private with many trails to hike but only ten minutes from Main Street and many other fun areas! The property owner was very welcoming and helpful. She gave us tips on fun things to do and was always a phone call away if we needed anything. I loved the outdoor bath and shower, and the new master bath was beautiful! We will definitely be back!

great getaway

The home is perfectly set away from the hustle & bustle of life with no cell service unless you're connected to the wifi, which is exactly what we were looking for. Quick trips to get to either Lake Placid or Saranac Lake towns. It was wonderful to wake up to deer in the yard & pick fresh raspberries as we walked around. The home has everything you need & was very comfortable to be in. Mim was wonderful to deal with & quick to respond if we had any questions. We got to meet the neighbors German Sheppard (super friendly & playful w/ our pups) he came over daily to say hi. Overall great trip & we would definitely use this property again.

Lake Placid is filled with non-stop activities and amazing scenic splendor. This home has it all, a beautiful retreat in the forest just minutes to town. Enjoy the fire pit and tree house and peace and quiet of the Adirondacks with access to endless trails right from the house.

What makes this property unique

Dirt road and quiet area. Sounds of owls and crickets, no road noise or light pollution, only stars and moonlight. Dirt road great for walks and strolls with pets Very private property close to downtown Lake Placid--huge great room perfect for family meals and hanging out. Endless miles of hiking and skiing right from house.
