Veranda 5 Bedroom Unit 2

Veranda 2 is a 5 Bedroom 3 bath luxury vacation rental located next to the

Lake Placid Club Grandview Hotel in the center of the Village of Lake Placid. This unit is located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a completely remodeled estate home with mountain and lake views. The 2nd floor offers a large living area with a faux electric fireplace and a large flat screen tv open to a spacious kitchen and features a deck for outdoor living, 2 bedrooms each with a king bed and their own bath. The 3rd floor has 3 smaller bedrooms, one with 2 twin beds and the other two have 1 queen bed each; there is 1 bath on the 3rd floor as well.  A/C in bedrooms only.



The bedrooms do not offer TVs.

The Historic Lake Placid Club boasts 45 holes of Championship Golf, extensive mountain biking and cross-country skiing trail systems.

This property is operated and located next to the Lake Placid Club Grandview Hotel and guests may enjoy our indoor pool, hot tub, fitness facilities and seasonal private beach on Mirror Lake (last weekend in July until Sunday of Labor Day).



We do allow dogs. Maximum 2 dogs. Pet fee of $150.00 plus tax.



While we provide an initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and trash bags to get you through the first 24 hours, we recommend you bring the following: toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, napkins, dishwashing liquid, laundry soap, coffee and coffee filters, and anything else you may need for the perfect vacation.

CHECK IN IS 4:00PM and CHECK OUT IS 10:00AM. We will contact you on the day of arrival with the door code as soon as the rental is ready.

Ironman family vacation

The property was perfect for me and my family. There was enough space for 6 adults and 4 grandchildren and the location was excellent. The view of the lake from the veranda can’t be beat! We will definitely be back!

Our family of four had a wonderful stay. The house has an incredible view of Mirror Lake and we enjoyed the use of the Crown Plaza pool and hot tub. We were able to walk to Main Street for dinner each night and were very close to all of the Olympic sites including Whitfwce for skiing.

Spectacular!

Pictures on the listing don’t do this house justice. It’s spacious, beds are so comfortable, and the location is perfect! At the top of the hill overlooking Main St and Mirror Lake, the views are incredible and the walk to town is so quick!

House is just as described, very clean. 4 flights of stairs to enter main floor then another flight of stairs to bedrooms. Very conveniently located near Main Street. Walking accessible but not for the faint of heart or injured/handicapped. Other than that, lovely rental property for a family.

Can't Get Any Better

This was our 4th year staying at the Veranda 2 and it was perfect like always! Amazing location with INCREDIBLE views of the lake. Love that we have access to the pool at the hotel next door. Room for everyone to have their own space but also a great area around the kitchen, dining room, living room for gathering! Seriously can't get any better!

4th of July Family Vacation

My family rented Veranda 2 for our 4th of July week family vacation. 9 of us stayed in the house and it was perfect!! The house was spotless, it was the perfect location, had plenty of room and was the best location for the fireworks. The communication with the property manager was so efficient. Every question prior to our stay was answered so quickly. We would absolutely stay at this house again. We loved it.

Spectacular!

Family trip with 4 adults and 6 kids (age range 5-17). House was clean and well stocked. The 3 bedrooms up were perfect for the kids. Deck overlooking Lake Placid had a great blend of sun and shade. Having 2 primary suites on the main floor was really nice as well. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Walking distance to downtown. This property is awesome. We will definitely be back!
