Walking distance to Main Street where most restaurants, pubs and shops are located. 8 mile drive to Olympic Whiteface Mountain. A few blocks to the Olympic arena, speed skating oval as well as to Mirror Lake for both summer and winter enjoyment. Off street parking WIFI cable and washer dryer are included. Very quiet residential neighborhood.A patio/deck with fire pit and outside seating. Pets are ok with advance notice, $50 dog fee will apply “2 night minimum ” Accommodates 8 very comfortably with extra Aero beds.

Lake Placid Stay

A wonderful VRBO! Awesome location and the house was so clean and so welcoming! Andrew was so accommodating with a last minute request for a family member’s dog and allowed us to check in early!! Highly recommend this property!

We stayed here to watch loved ones compete in Ironman and it was perfect. Truly a “cozy home” and within walking distance to everything. It was sooo much better than a hotel and the owner was very helpful in a number of ways.

Outstanding property and host

This was a beautiful home, very convenient to downtown Lake Placid. The home is very well appointed, very comfortable, and the host provided many unexpected amenities. We look forward to staying there again.

Weekend getaway

Such a great property and a great area. We came to Lake Placid to watch our son in a ski race - we were close to Whiteface for the races, yet when we were back at the house we were walking distance to the Lake Placid village which was incredible. Olympic history, restaurants, shops, etc. -- such a fun place to spend a weekend.

Lake Placid getaway

The host was a pleasure to deal with. The house was well equipped, comfortable and very clean. The location was excellent, and we were able to walk to anything in the village very easily. We had a wonderful week.

Heaven at Lake Placid

We have stayed in various VRBO’s with our dogs. This house was one of the best supplied. I always bring extra TP, paper towels, foil etc. Andrew has everything! We were there celebrating my 70th birthday and he made it even better. The house is immaculate and very well located. It was such a wonderful weekend.

Wonderful Stay

Andrew's attention to detail made our stay a wonderful experience. He goes above and beyond in making guests feel welcome as the home was equipped with anything we could have needed. He went above and beyond in leaving us coffee, bagels, eggs and juice. The home is organized and immaculate. The proximity to main street was convenient. We would absolutely stay here again. Fishing trip

Took my 2 adult sons on a fishing trip in the area and this was the perfect place for us. Able to walk to downtown for restaurants but also well furnished for grilling and enjoying the nice backyard deck area. Could not have been happier with the choice. Thanks for the hospitality.

Very nice family weekend away

The house was ready when we arrived and very clean, extra of everything. Easy to find the property and plenty of parking for 3 vehicles. Ages ranged from 7 months to 89 years, and we were all comfortable. Andy was great to work with and communicated check in information, provided numbers should there be any issues during our stay, and reached out when the reservation was made. Nice family weekend in Lake Placid.

Everything you need (or forgot)

This house was super cute and comfy. The host was really responsive and friendly, plus he left us some breakfast goodies in the fridge which was very appreciated. I am not a great packer and I always forget numerous little things…this house was so incredibly stocked with anything you could have possibly forgotten. Worth the return trip just for that! Great location.

All you need in one place!

This is an awesome place and an even better host. The property has everything from a location that you can walk to anywhere in Lake Placid to being fully stocked with everything you need. Just bring you, your family, and food / beverages. Modern conveniences like Roku TV’s in every room including the kitchen and usb chargers throughout the house. Plus and backyard deck complete with a fire pit! We loved it here and will definitely be back. The host was amazing and quick to respond to any of our questions.

Beautiful home to enjoy Beautiful Lake Placid area

We do VRBO rentals frequently, and we found this house to be exceptionally wonderful! Easiest check in/check out we've ever experienced. The house had absolutely everything we needed (very well equipped). The house was charming and comfortable, and it was a short walk to the center of town. We even used the outside patio to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of hiking. We visited Mirror Lake, Lake Placid, the Olympic facilities/museum (relived the "Miracle on Ice"), and Whiteface Mountain. All worth it. Our last morning there, we went to the Olympic Ski Jump area and saw future Olympians practicing for the Olympic trials. Incredible!

Wonderful Lake Placid village home!!

Seize the opportunity to stay at this Lake Placid home. You will not be disappointed. THE BEST VRBO we have ever rented as far as cleanliness, having every single thing stocked that you could possibly need, very comfortable furnishings, super comfortable mattresses( a big deal when staying in a rental ) and thoughtful touches. Host Provided bagels, eggs and OJ!! Never in all the rentals we have stayed at has a host gone out of their way to leave breakfast. We were even able to have a little fire on the patio area in February! The kindling and wood were nice and dry and cut to just the right size. Location of the house to the Olympic Center was perfect for our son’s hockey tournament. We were able to walk there in 10 minutes. We skated on Mirror Lake, walked the village, skated the Oval , had dinner at Lisa G’s - delicious!! Perfect house for a Lake Placid winter get away!

This was the perfect house for our extended weekend stay in Lake Placid. First, our host Andrew was very responsive to any questions I had prior to arrival. Also, he notified us that the house was ready way before the check in time. This was a big help after a very long drive! Upon arrival, we found the house to be impeccably clean and very well stocked including fresh orange juice, eggs, bagels and cream cheese in the refrigerator! The beds were very comfortable and the living space was perfect for a family of 5 adults. The location of the house is so convenient and walking distance to Mirror Lake and all the village has to offer. So happy we stayed here!
