Nice view but not for the elderly or infirm due to unsafe cobblestones stairs, and there are many. Disappointing that we cut our stay short, needs to have a disclaimer on the posting

Relaxing elegant getaway in the heart of town.

Nice view for location. There are 48 steps to get up to the house. Needs updated windows and leveling of floors. Dishwasher was full of water when we arrived yet no dishes in it. Carpet had stains.

Love it here

This is the 2nd summer we've stayed in this house. My kids love it. It's close enough to walk back and forth to the beach easily. Great view from the deck if you don't want to go down to the sand. The beds could be a little more comfy, but they aren't bad. We had no issues, aside from wishing we had booked a longer stay.

The original code to unlock the door didn’t work and had to wait on hold 15 min to get ahold of someone. Rough start but once we got in, the house was fantastic. Beautiful location, easy to get to the beach, hot tub was amazing, house was clean. Would go back and stay longer!

Great location and great views in the heart of LC

The location was great and it had all of the basics you'd need. The only issues would be that the house is VERY dated and in need of some repairs. You also have to go up a really tall flight of stairs that have stones for the steps. If you have limited mobility, this may not be the place for you. Overall, we had a good time and would recommend this place for the location and views.

Excellent Option for Budget Conscious Pet Lovers

Location, location, location! This place was an incredible find. Located right next to the beach and the best restaurant in Lincoln City, you can’t find a better option for the price. The house itself has its quirks, as most pet friendly places do (a few spots on the carpet, some broken blinds, slight murk to hot tub water, cable wasn’t working) but all minor things in the realm of your vacation. The beds are comfortable, the house is clean, the kitchen is updated and stocked with everything you need, and the surround sound stereo system is awesome- just make sure to bring an aux cord! We loved our stay at FarView and 10/10 would stay and recommend to any friends again.

Busy location, stinky home

Unfortunately I have too give a bad review, the location of the home is right in the middle of the city so the beach is very busy, the hot tub was only half full, they did come and fill it but there was also no bleach tablets we learned so that’s nasty, the washer was broken, and the living room had so much dog pee smell it was hard to breath, the maintenance man that came to look at the washer when we where gone looked though some of our stuff, we loved our stay but it wasn’t cues the house was nice, but the kitchen was good! And the view!

Nice home but 4 flights of rocky steps to get to

I was celebrating my 61st birthday and its a good thing im healthy or i could have had a heart attack carrying all our stuff up the steps to get to the house- it was a nice house and clean although lots of spots on the carpets - couldn't get in through the combination lock so we had to call the manager. He was very helpful and came to the house to retreave the key. Hot tub is nice but not private as listed - as far as proximity to the hotel next door it is right off the parking lot with a see through trellis. There are a few other things if i want to be really picky. Not to the vrbo standards i am used to.

Was NOT what is was all cracked up to be

Very, Very Disappointed - Booked this house, months and months in advance and asked for an early check in - Did not find out until the day of our trip that we were denied and could not check in until 4 PM. The stairs to get up to this house are really crazy - 49 Steps straight up with sharp turns and they are all cobble stone so very awkward for stepping on - Trying to carry your things up there is CRAZY... We could NOT use the fireplace - Glass on the front of it was busted - Could not use the Hot Tub because it was dirty - TV upstairs did not work - I had to mess with that to finally figure it out....The Murphy Bed was like sleeping on Springs, the couches and chairs sit very low to the floor and are very hard to get out of... There is no TV in the living room, only in the dinning room/kitchen - My husband sat on the chair at the kitchen bar for 2 days - Loved the kitchen and the view - But we will not be going back... This house is priced because of what it offers and we paid for that, but could not use the things we paid for... Should have some or our $$$ refunded - We'll see how that goes. Do NOT recommend this place to stay.......

Great View, That’s About It

Be aware, there are about 40 stone stairs leading up to the entrance (which is difficult to find in the dark, we had to be on the phone with the property management company to find it and ended up just looking and comparing views with listing photos). Some stones are broken, there’s an awkward place where stones meet decaying floorboards. I was pretty nervous walking up and down. The outside area in the back is nice but there’s one table and some crappy outdoor chairs to sit on. The view is beautiful, you can see ocean. The house itself was fine, but strange. The claw foot tub is nice but in the kitchen. I cut my foot in the bathroom on a tile there, though, so be careful. The only tv is in the kitchen, none in the living area. The doors to the outside sunroom area don’t stay closed. The kitchen was nice and plenty of dish ware but not many condiments. The upstairs was strange, tons of closet space. The shower head is so low if you’re above 5’7 you’ll be bending awkwardly. The carpet has multiple stains but seemed as clean as it could be. Tv upstairs has two old recliners in front of it but everything works fine. Trundle bed downstairs in kitchen is way more comfortable than the lumpy and awkward bed upstairs. The hot tub is in a weird, creepy location and you have to step down into it but it looks like there’s a path and small gate from a neighboring house. Would stay there again in a pinch, but it was far too expensive and eerie for us, not what we expected.

We could not find the place the first night we were supposed to stay there so we had to pay for and book another hotel that night. We found it the next day and stayed one night and absolutely loved it! It was so great we booked again for Labor Day weekend and can't wait to go back. Just wish we didn't pay for the night we couldn't find it

It is a great location and view. It needs some upgrading. Stains on the chairs, wall paper peeling, paint fell off the wall while I was just sitting in a chair looking out the window. The deck table and chairs ar so rusted that it looked dangerous to sit in them. The hot tub is under part of the deck and to me, is not inviting. It was clean but had a musty smell of urine. They did offer to reclean but I don't think it would have made a difference. Fresh air seemed to help. A pet friendly house is hard to find, but I am particularly fussy about how a home should be kept. Stained and deck furniture that belongs in a dump should not be part of the home. And, there are 3 flights of stairs to maneuver to carry your luggage up. That should be noted.

Love this place! The drain spout on the NW corner is plugged so the water was flowing over the gutter. I would have unplugged myself but it was out of reach. It’s time to clean under the appliances. Thanks for letting us stay in your wonderful home

Nice place would come again.

It is a little older building but the view of the ocean and sunset off the back deck were very nice. We went in October so the parking wasn't too much of a challenge but I could see how it could be in the busier seasons. The hot tub was nice but it is below the back deck and very dark at night. The light wasn't working but the hot tub light did so it made it a little more romantic. We used the flashlight provided so it wasn't too bad. Watch for broken hand rails and watch your step as there are a lot of stairs and many are uneven. Kyllo's restaurant is within walking distance and was so yummy. Overall a nice place for the price.

Was a nice relaxing trip

Lots to do within walking distance. The patio view is amazing. There are stains on the carpet and seen some on the bed and pillow when we stripped the bed. Other than that stuff was as clean as it could be. Would love to see no carpet and maybe hard wood floors or tile. New pillows and bed cover. It is a pet friendly home so I guess it's what to be expected.

Cute house
