Get away from it all and relax in this remodeled charming cozy cottage. Enjoy the ocean sounds and view from the expansive front deck or stay inside next to the fire surrounded by knotty pine paneling in all the rooms. Also enjoy the peace and quiet of the backyard, from the new full length deck. This quaint cottage is just steps away from the sand. Barbequing is quick and easy on the front deck, which is right across the street from the beach. The front deck is adjacent to the remodeled and fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances. All linens are included as well as a 'start-up' supply of both kitchen and bath paper products. WiFi Internet Access and wonderfully appointed beds with 100% Egyptian Cotton Sheets and bedding! Also enjoy the flat screen Smart Tv’s in both bedrooms along with a 55” High Definition flat screen smart TV in the living room. With NETFLIX HULU AMAZON PRIME etc FOR ALL OUR GUESTS!! :)

Weekend getaway

This cabin has a perfect location just a few feet from the beach. I wouldn't want more than 4 adults as it is a cozy little place. The kitchen is well stocked, beds were comfy and the fireplace was perfect for our rainy weekend. The host was wonderful! 10/10 Would stay here again.

Wonderful Stay a Stone’s Throw from the Beach

My wife, daughter, and beagle had a fantastic stay for several days. The location left nothing to be desired; the sounds of the ocean provided the soundtrack for our trip, and I could easily pop across the street to stroll along the beach with ease to walk the dog, watch my daughter play with sand, and comb for beach treasures. Our host was very responsive whenever we had questions and made us feel well taken care of. Would happily stay again!

Great getaway spot

Cute, comfortable cabin a short walk to the beach and a fantastic breakfast cafe. Communication with host was easy and thorough. It could feel tight with more than two people.

Great Stay!

Very clean, very cozy, SO close to the beach! Pull out couch and the beds were comfy. The beach gets cool but this house stays warm with the extra blankets and the heat. It was a charming house for our short stay and had a beachy cabin feel. Very grateful for the memories! Thank you Mary Jo for being so responsive and accommodating!

We loved being able to hear and see the waves every day!

Totally dug the beach cabin vibe. It had everything we needed and even things we didn't know we'd need. We were even able to host a small gathering for our family reunion on the back deck and all take a sunset walk on the beach together. Thank you for all of the beautiful memories!

All you need for a peaceful beach getaway

You cannot ask for a better location. You are literally steps away from the ocean. The cottage is cozy and everything you need to enjoy a stress-free beach getaway.

Overall Cute Place to Stay

This oceanside cottage was cozy and a nice place to stay. Pros: the owner allows pets if you want to brings yours, it's not even a block to the coast from the cottage, ocean view from the front windows, cozy feel to the place. Cons: the cottage had a bit of a smell to it and when we tried to air the place out, there were no screens on any of the windows which allowed flies to enter the cottage.

Great location! Super cute cottage

Two nights wasn't long enough. Great place. Only suggestion, if possible to install a back deck/porch light. Grilling and taking dog out past dark was challenging. Will keep this place on or list to return for another stay. Thank you.

A great retreat

My friend and I are 80 years old and we've been going on retreat for 40 years where we do art work, walk, and have fun. My biggest problem was the stairs and all the art material we brought. The back stairs worked better. The heating was old and was either off or on.

Very pleasant

We enjoyed our stay! The sink was slow to drain in the bathroom when we arrived. Also, there were two outside chairs broken and the tile floors were very dirty. Take pictures of any damage or mess when you get there and send them to the owner immediately! After we left, I received a scolding text from the owner saying the place was left a mess and the housekeepers had to stay an extra hour and a half to clean our filth! I KNOW I left it better than I received the home! I even scrubbed the tile floors with my own equipment and cleaning products. I am a professional house cleaner. I had to! Anyway! I think the owner’s housekeepers were not being honest with her and claiming more hours to get more pay !!! I feel bad for the owner if this is the case. Everything else was fine. Close proximity to the beach is probably this rentals selling point.

This is a wonderful little cottage! MaryJo was very communicative with all the details we needed. We brought our 2 pups with us. It was a little cramped with 4 adults and 2 dogs however we knew we would be. The yard was big and mostly fenced (it is open on the side if you have a pet that will run). The beds.....oh my the beds!! I slept so good and they were so very comfy! We even looked up the brand of the bed and are considering it for home! The beach entrance was 3 houses down, so nice easy access. I highly recommend this cottage. Thank youMaryJo, for sharing your home with us!!

This a charming little house with super comfortable beds and a kitchen that had everything we needed. It had a cute little backyard and was walking distance to the beach. The property owner was very responsive to communication and made sure we understood the rules regarding pets and the check in process. My only critique would be that there is no air conditioning and we visited during a heat wave. I really don’t think air conditioning would have normally been necessary.

Great cottage in a great location. Check in was quite easy, I had really great communication from the owner about timing, procedures, etc. The bedrooms are cozy, but comfy and the whole place is well appointed. I was easily able to do some cooking with the pots and pans available in the place. The furniture in the living room is comfortable and the TV is huge. There are two decks, one in the front and one in the back which were great to relax on for a meal, or an evening unwind. Peek-a-boo views of the ocean from the front, but the cottage itself is just steps away from a beach-level public entrance to the beach. Great walking, kite flying, and rock hounding just steps away from the cottage.

My husband and I live in West Linn, Oregon and have always LOVED the beach! We were fortunate to be able to purchase this little cottage recently. We have been blessed with four incredible children, a wonderful extended family on both sides and look forward to sharing our cottage with our renters.

Why they chose this property

Lincoln City has a lot to to for everyone of all ages...shopping, gambling, golfing, beachcombing, fishing and just relaxing...We think it is a great place to own a vacation rental home!

What makes this property unique

While the cottage did not need much fixing up, we still enjoyed adding a few upgrades, such as - new plush pillowtop mattresses, thick down comforters, great linens, WIFI and flat screen TV/DVD's in both bedrooms. We have had great responses from our guests and strive to have repeat guests! Let us know if we missed anything! Hope you can find some time to come down and stay at the Driftwood Beach Cottage. ALSO - the location is excellent! Located right across the street from the beach and just two doors down from the beach access! Also just 1 mile to the outlet mall for great deals, 1 mile to the multiplex movie theatre, 3 blocks from 2 restaurants, - one Mexican Restaurant and The Nelscott Cafe - which has great breakfasts with the best sausage, French Toast, pancakes and Oatmeal in town! And of course great coffee!
