Be greeted by the spacious living and dining area with it's vaulted ceilings with a sliding door onto a shaded screened in patio. Prepare breaks in a well equipped kitchen with new stainless steel appliances. Relax in the den, which has a fold out couch for additional guests. It's a split bedroom plan, with a private second bedroom and main bath off the kitchen. Off the dining room is the master suite containing a walk in closet and en suite bathroom with a second set of sliding doors onto the patio. Just minutes to the beach and Historic Venice. There's so much to do, from fishing at the pier, to walking the local nature trail, to just relaxing on the beach.

Venice Winter Get Away

The property is clean and adequately furnished. The beds are comfortable. The location allows easy access both to downtown Venice and to many local beaches. The major disadvantage of the property, however, is also the location. It is one block off a major road and the road is located on is extremely busy. So, it would not be safe to walk the neighborhood, and it is extremely noisy to sit in the screwed-in porch.

Great place to land for our trip

The property is as described. We had 5 adults in our family. We used home as a place to sleep spending most of our time at beach. The pull out couch was small so don't count on it for adult sized people. The other beds were good. Master king was comfortable. We used patio the most. It is close to busy road, still nice. The 2 bathrooms were perfect for cleaning up family of 5 from beach. Overall convenient location to get to beaches and what you need. Property manager was responsive during stay to messages.

After looking at the property we decided to not stay there. Contacted the property manager and asked that the cleaning fee be refunded as it was totally unnecessary. She said that she would 'start the process ', but that was the last we ever heard.

We were led to believe it was near the beach's, not so several miles away in heavy traffic. The house was nice we liked the house, however, there was an 8-foot cinderblock wall between the backyard and a major highway on the other side. Noise all day long. And back yard was a mess. My wife had to get a big rake to clear a place to sit. My biggest disappointment was Venice area, too many people crammed into a small Island. Never go back to Venice Beach..Florida is destroying itself with all the out of control building. We are looking at a different State to visit. Not happy, waste of my time.
