The Sunshine house was tidy, cute, and centrally located to shops and the beaches. My husband spent all of his time out on the deck next to the pool. The pool was my favorite part…absolutely fabulous. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful property! Not too big, not too small; all that Goldilocks type stuff. They have a bunch of stuff in the garage and a nice little Blackstone grill. This is somewhere we will be booking again for sure!

Comfortable and convenient

Place was clean and convenient to beaches, downtown Venice and stores and restaurants. We loved having the heated pool and outdoor TV. Primary bed was so comfortable! Check in was very easy. Place was well worth the money.

Great rental property that’s accurately described

The house is very clean and stocked with everything you need for a nice vacation. The owners have gone out of their way to make sure the guests have a good experience and even supplied beach accessories. The pool area was fantastic after a long day in the sun, clean and well maintained. We will stay at this home again when we’re in the area.

Fun Stay

Took a mini vacay with my wife. Our adult kids dropped in for a visit because that is what they do. Loved the home. Had everything we needed. Owners are nice people. Found lots of great places to eat. Had some ice cream at Bob's Twist N Shake at the recommendation of the owner. I believe I'm still full from the Banana Split. Hope to return one day soon.

Quaint 2 bed 2 bath home perfect for our quick get away. The pool was a great addition so that we could come home and relax. Owner was great to work with. All around just what we needed.

Perfect Location

This was a perfect location. House was beautiful and the kids loved the pool. There are beaches all around that you can drive too. The owners were always there if we needed something. We would definitely recommend this house and would stay again.

Family Trip to Venice

This was a short family trip to spend some time with our daughters. Our youngest only had a week off from PA school and wanted to go to her favorite beaches to look for shark teeth. We visited Bohard Beach and Manasota Key. This home was located in the middle of both beaches. We loved having a great space to relax with our dogs while not looking for shark teeth. Found over 1400 shark teeth in a few hours at Manasota Key. Loved the house and location!

Great Place to Stay

Getting away from the cold and snow of NE Ohio in February, we had a wonderful stay. The home was very accommodating with a small but nice layout and a wonderful large pool out back enclosed in the lanai. Home was supplied with everything you need. Owners were very attentive checking in from time to time to see if there was anything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

South Venice Paradise

Great little beach house for the perfect beach vacation. We enjoyed discovering Manasota Key, Englewood beaches. Just 2-3 miles from perfect sunsets and shark teeth hunting. It was nice to come back from the beach to enjoy the pool to cool off. We had a great time and property owner was so nice and accommodating. Great hospitality. We will be back for sure!

The perfect ‘home away from home’!

The home was wonderful!! Might be our new favorite!! Amazing hosts, easy check in, and immediately felt welcoming. Beautifully furnished, comfortable beds, lots of open space, and a shimmering pool out back. Couldn’t have asked for better. So conveniently located to grocers, shopping, BEACHES and restaurants. We absolutely loved our stay!! We could not be more grateful!! 100% recommend to anyone.

Great house and wonderful host

The property was just as it is advertised. The proper was extremely clean and stocked well beyond what was expected. The owner checks on you during your stay via phone. Patrick was responsive to any questions within minutes. Great host!!! I would recommend this property to anyone. I'm already planning another stay.

A great home near some of the best beaches and restaurants in the Venice area.

While this was not a vacation stay for us, we have visited the Venice are many times in the past. This very clean and spacious home is very close to many of the beaches (Venice beach and Manasota Key). Close to downtown Venice, and to attractions such as dolphin/manatee tours, Pine stump state park, and kayak rentals at the Jetty. This property would be outstanding for families. The pool provides a nice addition to the overall experience and there are loads of beach toys, chairs and umbrellas available in the garage. Finding places that allow pets can be difficult, so the fenced yard and pet friendly nature of this property are a real plus. We would definitely stay here again.

A fabulous time in Sunshine House.

We had a fabulous time in Sunshine House. The online description of Patrick and Virginia’s home did not do full justice to the quality of our experience, from the gorgeous pool to the feeling of space in the living area, to the total cleanliness of everything, to the gas BBQ, and to even the quality of the shampoos etc in the showers. Everything was just right. It’s a drive of a mile or so to the beaches, but Venice public beach has great facilities, and North Jetty too. Great places for children and adults to have fun, especially with the in-house inflatable kayak/bodyboard, beach umbrellas etc. Thanks for the wonderful family memories.

Short and sweet

Our kids had a few days off school so we decided to take a short trip to Florida with the intentions of searching for shark teeth. The house was GREAT. It was clean and just as advertised. The property managers were very responsive when we had a question. The kids loved it and wanted to stay. When asked to rate their mini vacation… without hesitation they shouted “10”. We give it a 10 as well. No complaints.

We are new to the VRBO community but eager to please and live nearby. We love living in Venice and are very excited to share our rental home with visitors to this great town! Originally from the Northeast we are fully enjoying life in Florida and think you will love being here too!

Why they chose this property

The location of the home is so convenient to everything! You will not run out of things to do. Homebodies will also be happy in the fully equipped house and quiet neighborhood. If you want to explore just a bit further north, Sarasota, St Armands, Siesta Key, the Ringling Museum, University Town Center Mall, etc. are also great spots to visit.

What makes this property unique

The weather here is so lovely in the winter months but sometimes the ocean is a bit chilly for swimming so it's a wonderful perk to have your own private heated salt-water pool on your own back patio. Truly year round fun here. I'd have to say too that although the summer months are hot of course, the a/c keeps you cool when you need it and the ocean temperature is amazing! Beach breezes are balmy and great. We love it here year round & look forward to hosting you throughout the year!
