Built as a seaside retreat in the 1930’s, our cottages have endured as a magical escape to the bygone time of California’s “Surf and Sand” fun. Freshly restored in 2015 with our unique vision of the 1930s to 1950s beach ambiance. Located only 1/2 block from Coast Highway you will have easy access to the beach and all of the great restaurants, and "outdoor fun” that Laguna has to offer. Bring your guitar, favorite books, and festive party spirits. Large front yard for relaxing with views of the ocean. Easy parking. (2 cars per cottage). The property is on a large 10,000 sq ft parcel, in the very heart of the city. Take a trip back in time to stay in California’s last surviving intact beach community.

Check-In is anytime after 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and Check-Out is anytime prior to 11:00 am.

The cottage was beautiful, just what we were looking for for our few days by the ocean. The beds were really comfortable and rooms were really spacious. The cottage also offered nice spaces to chill out after a tough day on the beach. Location was excellent. Lots of good restaurants and cafes within walking distance and beach was one block away. I'll be back!

Neil was great to deal with-- very communicative and easy going. The cottage is exactly as advertised and very close to the downtown restaurants and beach. I highly recommend going to Tacos Locos at some point-- the food is incredible. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to any friends looking to stay in Laguna Beach!

We really enjoyed our stay at Neil's place. It's in a great location and the cottage is extremely cute with some of the most comfortable beds! We will definitely be going back.

The cottage was everything you see and more. Attention to detail around every corner. Fully stocked kitchen allowed us to enjoy freshly ground coffee, and all the cooking tools to fix appetizers throughout the day. Beds were comfy, and shower had all the typical toiletries found at a hotel. Very nice place!

Perfect location in Laguna Beach very close to the main beach.. Just off of Coast Highway so very little street noise. Plenty of parking. Cottage has been completely renovated. It is like new. It has a very nice kitchen that is fully equipped. Neil is a tremendous host. I would absolutely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay in Laguna with my wife and two small children. The entire process was "laid back"... and we loved it that way. This is a beautiful and roomy surf shack that is very well appointed and comfortable. Within minutes walking distance to great beaches, restaurants/bars/coffee/grocery, and all kinds of shops. We wish we could have stayed longer and will be back in the future! Were unable to connect to the Wi-Fi with any device, and couldn't seem to get that resolved (only posting this in case you need Wi-Fi for work, kids etc.). Still worth a 5-star review -- this place is... shall I say "RAD"!!

So to much say… The cottage is truly the quintessential beach house! Clean, minimal, "beachy," style, with an open floor plan, plenty of sun, comfortable beds, 2 blocks from the beach, free parking, AND a with a front yard with an Ocean View!!! The location is perfect; far enough away from the main beach for calm and quiet, with access to all the tiny, lesser-traveled coves; yet, close enough to walk down and take in all of the action. Turn south instead of north, walk ten minutes to K'ya's rooftop bar and watch the sunset. Devine. We will be back, probably several times. Lastly, Neil's responds promptly, and it could not have been easier! Great place, great host!

What a great cottage! The home was recently remodeled and decorated very nicely. It was equipped with all the comforts of home and perfect for a family of four. The location was amazing. Only one block to the beach. Neil was welcoming and great to work with!

Neil's place was 50 seconds from the beach just as he said. It is recently remodeled and very welcoming. He made the entire process very easy. He was attentive to all our questions and was onsite to give us our keys. He even offered to show us around, which I thought was a lovely touch. He had everything we could have needed. Towels, bath laundry supplies in case we needed to wash our clothes before packing up. We would love to go back for a longer stay the next time. His place is in a great location-walking distance to the beach and downtown Laguna.

We were the first guests to stay at this adorable beach cottage over Spring Break. It is eveything described and more! It is immaculately decorated with every convenience that you'd need for a vacation in Laguna. It is ideally located a short walk to the beach and cafes. We had the best time! Neil is one of the nicest guys and had the best suggestions where to have breakfast and where to skimboard. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a breezy and relaxing stay in Laguna, stay here at Neil's cottage. Can't wait to come back. Thanks again Neil!! Carly
