We had a great time, the place is HUGE! We had 6 adults staying there and we were all very comfortable. Its very close to shops and restaurants, has lots of outdoor space, a dog run/fenced area outside, and was so warm even though it was freezing outside!... the property was amazing. We would definitely stay there again.
This home is a blast. There are 4 bedrooms, but so many other rooms that you can bring your entire clan. LOL! Adam (the owner) is exceptional at communicating timely info. Weather, roads, house condition, areas to eat, drink, and explore. We enjoyed the pool table, the HUGE breakfast bar, and the fact that you can use the 2 car garage when Mother Nature dumps 9” of snow on you. IF you have the desire & ability to drive to/from Aspen’s ski resorts, this home is perfect. Even walking distance to grocery store, great little Mexican food joint, Starbucks, and to the river as well. Highly recommended.
The property is very spacious. The amenities are great, however there are some minor maintenance issues like windows that don't open, loose cabinet drawers, loose toilet seats, etc. that need to be addressed but they don't detract from the overall experience. We would rent this house again!
First, and very uplifting is the gorgeous setting (surroundings) of this property. The neighborhood is beautiful with lush green grass that is well cared for...huge, beautiful healthy trees.....Aspen, Blue Spruce, Weeping Willow, Cottonwood, and more. The neighborhood is quiet and provided privacy for residents. There is a lovely lake and beautiful flower garden.Adam, our contact for this rental, was very responsive to all of our questions, and inquiries. The house was beautifully built and had many high-end, lovely features...beautiful wood ceilings, huge log support beams, granite flooring, etc. Summer (at least for us) is not the time of year to come. It is a two-story home with the kitchen, main living area, a pool table room, and Master Bedroom with bathroom, on the top level. There is a small window-type air conditioner in the living area; however, it could not keep the upstairs area comfortable. In the middle to late afternoons the temperatures were quite often in the mid 80s or higher. We also had several maintenance issues. Several of the windows were inoperable. Window coverings, including wooden shutters and curtains...needed maintenance. The carpeting in the stairway was soiled, some of the drains in sinks and tubs were badly clogged, and we experienced a wounded bat on the floor of the bathroom one morning. Because of places that were not air-tight, (screens that could not be locked closed) there were often bugs in the house. Great location for us.
I've stayed at Adam's house twice now, and love it. It's location is very convenient to the grocery as well as the mountains of Aspen. Lots of space in the house, great to be able to use the garage when it snows.
We had a wonderful stay at this property! Everything was accommodating including Adam, the property owner. It was a beautiful and peaceful place to relax. We would definitely book again if we come back to this area. Basalt is a really cool mountain town with great restaurants and things to do. Plus everything is close to the property which made it super convenient. Five stars for sure!!
We had a group of 8 up here this past weekend and the stay was phenomenal, we actually decided to have family dinners at the property rather than eating out. Kitchen and dining space are ample for a group of 8, sleeping arrangements were perfect, enough bathrooms to go around before and after skiing, and the living room/game room are a perfect spot to hang out after spending the day on the mountain.
My family did an extended summer stay at this property to escape the Texas heat. The house was exactly what we wanted. Gorgeous lot, excellent location, perfect set up for us to work virtually and entertain guests. I absolutely cannot wait to go back!
A very unique house with plenty of room for all 6 of us. Multiple areas to hang out and visit. We loved the pool table room. Great location with multiple walking options. Close to everything. Local restaurants and grocery options within walking distance.
This is an amazing property in a great location. The owner was very helpful. We were 7 adults, 1 - 12 yr. old., and a dog. The house is very large with plenty of space to spread out and we all had an amazing time - thank you Adam for making this property available.
The house is great, wonderful neighborhood. Close to both Aspen and Glenwood Springs. And everything else, grocery, gas, restaurants, river access, a couple minutes from the house. If you are looking to spend time rafting the rivers, enjoying the Glenwood Springs hot springs, and lounging and hiking around Aspen, then this location could not be more perfect!
This home is beautiful, the house and property! So much room and places to relax. We enjoyed playing pool, and it's a short drive to old town Basalt and Willits. Adam was wonderful to deal with, so helpful. We want to stay again for a family vacation with all our daughters and husbands. I would highly recommend this place!
