Quick Family Getaway

Sailor House was perfect for our family of 6, we had plenty of room. The house had a well-equipped kitchen, and it was perfect for family dinners we cooked all 3 nights we were there. Everything was there that we needed and communication with the host was fast, and she was gracious enough to let us check in a bit early. We will back as soon as we can!!

Thanks Sue for the review I appreciate it. I apologize you said there was an issue with the water pressure. That has never been mentioned as an issue since I have had the home. I will make sure it is checked but sounds like it may have been an isolated issue during your stay. I do apologize for that. Thank you for being wonderful guests!

Perfect Getaway!!

We had a wonderful time at Sailor House and Kamden Place across the street (both owned by the same person). The owner is kind, helpful, and prompt at responding. She was a pleasure to work with!! She answered any question we had. The houses were pristine and exactly as described on the listings. Very nice furniture and decor. As soon as we walked in, we knew it was going to be a great stay. I would highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!!

Julie thank you! I'm excited to have worked with you and April in planning your family vacation in both our homes. You are one of several families that have planned their getaway in both homes and the feedback has been great. We are glad you all enjoyed it and appreciate the hard work that goes into keeping our homes at a level our guests expect and deserve! Guest like you that take such great care of our homes, keep it for all to be able to enjoy and build memories. Thank you for that. As always we hope we can help you in the future and see you again! :-)

Outstanding experience ! The owner was extremely helpful, and the house is beautiful.

The house is relatively new construction, in excellent shape, clean, modern, and convenient in every way. Everything worked properly. The master bedroom has an excellent king size mattress that I found comfortable, even with my back problems. The living room is large. Our 6 adults and 2 toddlers had plenty of room. The owner has been extremely thorough in providing more than we expected in furnishings and sundries. The location is a bit secluded, which we liked. It's perfect for boaters who trailer, since there's a boat ramp and mini-beach just a few blocks away. There's also a real beach, with plenty of sand within a few miles. The owner was extremely helpful, and a joy to deal with. She helped with restaurant recommendations, and was very helpful in retrieving belongings left behind. Overall, the entire rental was an easy, relaxing, no hassle experience that all of enjoyed greatly. I highly recommend this property ! Steve Leinwand McKinney TX

Wonderful place for a family

The host was absolutely wonderful. Communication was top notch. The house was in a great location close to the lake. Would recommend renting a golf cart to get around if you plan to go there a lot. Neighbors were nice. The house included everything you could imagine and then some. I would recommend a maximum of 12 people unless there are a lot of kids as there only 2 bedrooms that are suitable for couples. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Hopefully there will be a fence added to the property for the dogs. House was extremely clean. Will definitely recommend for anyone staying nearby.

Lovely host and amazing stay

Kera was absolutely wonderful! She made our family weekend celebrating my Mother’s birthday the best experience. She went above and beyond to ensure my Mom felt special. Her caring touches and willingness to make sure we had everything we needed made our weekend memorable. The home was a great fit for our 6 adults and 2 kids. We enjoyed all of the spaces, especially the back porch and family room. The kitchen is nicely appointed and the house was clean. Perfect place for families!

Thank you Lauren for the feedback! I do have the property sprayed but unfortunately I cannot always keep ants away as much as I would love too. I do always leave extra spray on patios for guests if it is needed at any time during their stay. They are welcome to Use it in between schedule exterminator spraying. Thanks so much for staying!
