The house is in a Safe Gate Community; people from all over the World live in there. It's situated right in the middle of the Jungle but close (1 min) to the "Carretera Federal" (Cancún 20min and Playa del Carmen 20min) There are SuperMarkets in a walking distance, services, local people around and the location is so strategically situated. Puerto Morelos has the 2nd largest Reef in the world and "Ruta de los Cenotes", a Zoo, a "Manglar"and chill atmosphere town with ppl from all over living in; most are locals, Canadians and Americans.

Les commodités, problèmes d’eau chaude, de toilette, de laveuse à linge, ameublement dont le divan sur lequel est installé un sac de couchage comme siège. Problème avec les minis fourmis. En résumé pas vraiment de confort en plus des matelas des lits jumeaux. L’expérience avec l’hôte est très bien. Il répondait rapidement à nos insatisfactions et se disait désolé pour tous les problèmes. Je ne recommanderai pas cet endroit.

Great Access to All the Fun

We thoroughly enjoyed our 12-day stay in the Puerto Morelos area. Having the pool directly across the street from our El Faro location was like an extension of our living space. The residence is mostly ready to enjoy, but I did bring a few extra items from home (facecloths, dish towels) and a clothesline and clothespins would be handy additions. We appreciated having the bikes available, the wi-fi, and the fresh water dispenser. There were a few little glitches on the first day, but these were addressed promptly. Jose Antonio responded quickly to my earlier emails and also to texts once we had our phone ready. His suggestions were helpful and made planning for the trip easy. We rented a car so we could travel beyond Puerto Morelos, but public transportation is also available. The local caretaker cleaned the residence a week into our vacation and she did a great job. She also met us on arrival and checked us out on our final day. This was a little tricky as we did not speak Spanish, but we managed with gestures, pointing and a translation app. Perhaps having some written instructions posted in the house would be helpful for future guests. We would happily return to 28 Palancar in the future. We enjoyed the people, the restaurants and many things to see and do.
