We had a great 2 night stay on this beautiful property! It was perfect for our family of 8 with 6 young kids. The boys loved waking up to fish and find bugs and turtles. The house was accommodating and the owner was very nice!

My mom and I shared a mother-daughter weekend trip and enjoyed every minute. The owners have put in a lot of work- and it shows! There's a great porch with available grill and comfortable seating. Waze will take you to the address (google maps was a bit off); look for the Nixon's Nest sign!

Went to visit our son in AL and found this gem to rent. loved it. our son and his kids came over and we all enjoyed fishing off the dock. home had everything we needed. made some great family memories. =)

Better than first impressions

Depending on which way you come into the neighborhood, I was a little skeptical. The property was a pleasant suprise. It was very relaxing and the lake views are beautiful. The owners have thought of everything. There is a gate coming off the deck so I was able to enjoy it with my dogs without keeping such a close on them. I am always so grateful of people that allow my pets. My only regret is that I didn't bring a fishing pole.

Lake Weekend

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It was clean and had everything we needed. The lot was flat and you could step straight from the grass to the water. It is great for young children because the water is shallow enough for them to play without having to have a life vest or floaties. We will definitely stay here again next summer!

Lake Jordan Fishing Paradise

I fish Lake Jordan every spring. Until this year, I have always stayed in a hotel. I booked this place for this year and will always do so in the future. If you're looking for a great place to stay while fishing, this is as good as it gets. Dock for the boat, easy access, and a cleaning table. Clean house, hot shower, and comfortable beds. Fishing paradise.

Lake Jordan Lake House

We totally enjoyed our stay at Dawn's Lake house on Lake Jordan. It was clean, comfortable and Dawn was readily available to answer any questions. The beds/linens, kitchen and bathroom was clean with all amenities available for use. We were in town for my son's college fishing tournament in Wetumpka. The property was easy to get to and from, with gas stations/grocery store nearby. Really a nice, relaxing and quiet property with a great patio and boat deck. Will go back if ever in the area again! Thanks Dawn!

Junior high anglers and parents staying for a tournament on Lake Jordan

Owners were very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of room for the six of us. Beautiful lot right on the water with a nice dock to sit and watch the sun go down. Our boys also enjoyed swimming and kayaking in the cove with very little boat traffic. We will definitely stay again on our next trip.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was such a nice change in pace from where we're from. Everything was to our liking. The view is perfect!

This spot is great , you definitely need to be an outside person to appreciate this rental. Good hiking and swimming close. Bring your boat if you have a small one .

Relaxing time with family

Our family had a peaceful weekend enjoying Thanksgiving leftovers! The house was sufficient for the 4 of us, and the neighborhood was accurately described as “rural”. We first arrived after dark and it was a little hard to find. The lake view from the house was beautiful. We spent lots of time hanging out on the porch and sitting out on the dock. My husband was a bit disappointed that he couldn’t find any local channels on the tv (to watch football/ Iron Bowl). But honestly that lead to more quality time spent together. Overall we had a great stay.
