Biannual Family Reunion 2025

The property is as advertised and worked very well for our extended family. The game room/playroom in the basement is very large and accommodated a lot of activity. The pool and the shaded deck were used extensively and very much enjoyed, along with the hot tub and gas fire pit. Two of the loft rooms do not have windows, but accommodated our toddler who needed a dark space as well as some adults who appreciated that as well.Overall, we were very satisfied.

The perfect getaway

The weekend trip we planned would not have been the same without this house. Between being able to fit our group very comfortably and offering something for all of us to do together I can’t thank the owners enough for hosting us. They were beyond helpful the entire time of our stay. Multiple members of our group already started talking about coming back for our next mountain trip !

Had an awesome time with a group of 20. Basement was great for games and TV. Hot tub and pool were clean and heaters working. We used the upstairs living room for yoga and other activities. Great secluded property with view of camelback mtn

The Perfect Home

The Mountain Chalet was the absolute perfect home for our family of 20-- ages 5 to 80. The house is big enough for everyone to enjoy their own space with enough beds that the kids could sleep with different cousins every night. The pool and hot tub were a big plus for the kids, as the adults enjoyed the "game room" with many competitive shuffle board games. The house is well appointed with all the amenities one could need. We didn't get to meet Boris in person but he was very responsive to any and all questions, even talking us through a minor "fuse" flip for the hot tub-so Thank You Boris! Its location is ideal at the end of the road with a big lawn where we played all our out door games and didn't have to worry about the noise level. At least I hope no one heard us. The surrounding area has much to offer including parks, water slides and grocery stores within 15 minutes. Upon leaving everyone was already talking about the possibility of doing it again next year-same time, same place!! So thanks Boris and we hope to be back

The property was absolutely beautiful. Very well kept and clean. Tina was very responsive and had very clear instructions for the space. Kitchenware was fully stocked for our large group and the outdoor grill being attached to a gas line was a nice bonus. 0 complaints!

Family reunion space

The place was a perfect place for our family of 30, ages 2-86. Lots of room to be together OR spread out. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all ages and the front lawn was a great place for a fun game of wiffle. The kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms and baths were as stated. Lovely stay

Family gathering

This was a great place for our family gathering of 15 adults and 8 children - plenty of room and things to do. The pool, outdoor decks, and basement recreation room were enjoyed by all. Meals were handled easier than expected with the large kitchen and outdoor grill. When we had a couple of minor problems, the owners were very responsive, which allowed us to have a very enjoyable week here.

Labor Day weekend stay

We booked the house for the Labor Day weekend for 10 families and their children. The location was prefect and an easy drive for all of us who came from multiple locations (Boston, NYC, Upstate NY, Philly). The house is located at a dead end street and is secluded from other properties providing the perfect privacy for such a large gathering. The check is was easy and all the instructions were provided in detail prior to our arrival. The host were super responsive and were available through both texts and emails. On our arrival, the house was clean and had all the basic necessities required - towels, soaps, paper towels, and the kitchen was fully stocked. All the 10 families were able to get their own room and except for the two rooms, all the rooms had two queen beds. We had an minor issue with the electrical sockets not working in two of the rooms and Tina was able to send a handyman to address the issue. The kids (as well as the adults) had a great time at the pool and in the hot tub. The basement is a large area where the kids would hang out all day long and the adults were able to spend some quality time in the large eat in kitchen and on the deck. The house has plenty of bathrooms and that is a huge plus. Overall, everyone of us had a great time and we plan to book this place again next year.

First Poconos visit

This was a great house for our annual summer vacation with friends and family. There was plenty of space, house was well stocked for group cooking and was a great location with a variety of options nearby for activities for all. Tina and Boris were great hosts sharing a variety of local recommendations in advance of our stay and made the check in/out process very easy. They were very communicative throughout our stay checking in to make sure we had everything we needed.

Annual Family Gathering Success

We’re a large group of college friends, only getting larger each year as more kids enter the fold. It’s become challenging to find a large enough accommodation that not only fits us all but one which also offers enough space to enjoy ourselves. This house was perfect. With the three floors, outdoor areas, spacious kitchen/living space and bathrooms, we had plenty of room to play, run around, cook, sand sit. At the night when the kids were asleep, the basement offered a comfortable and reassuring space to enjoy adult-only time to catch up on each others lives over a few drinks and board games. The few issues or uncertainties we had were answered nearly immediately as the hosts were very responsible and helpful. I would happily stay here again and have no hesitation recommending it to others.
