Magnetic Island Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay, the location on the island was perfect for us. The facilities were fantastic being so close the harbour and the supermarket. The only thing that let the property down was the cleanliness of showers. Our stay was still really enjoyable.

Perfect for a week of school holidays! Apartment has a great view over the marina & sunsets. 2 flights of stairs but view was worth it. Everything was perfect. Best of Magnetic staff helpful from the start to the finish of our contact with them.

Air-condition did not work in bed rooms even when using the night switch by the front door. Main shower did not work properly as the shower fitting is broken and water spurts out from the joint. Plug does not fit the bath tub. Pillow stunk of urine and so did a single bed. The back two rooms are very bright at night and allow a lot of light in from the garden lighting, even when the blinds are shut, making it hard to sleep. Given only one key for 4 adults to share. No lights in the stairs, at night need to walk 3 floors of stairs in the dark to get to apartment.

Great spot for New Year

There were six of us sharing this apartment for three nights. We had a view over the marina where the fireworks were let off on New Year's Eve. The pool was great and the restaurant at Peppers was excellent Only negative aspects were the lack of a lift and the aircon wasn't working in the bedrooms so we had to leave our bedroom doors open at night
