About this property

The pool house has a queen bed and its own bathroom + shower. It is next to our house in a spacious yard in a quiet residential neighborhood. The bus stop is a 3 minute walk, while the beautiful John Smith's Bay beach is a 5 minute walk and the grocery store is 12 minutes away. We have a Labrador on the property so this is not a good fit unless you like dogs. :)

The kitchen area includes a small fridge, a Keurig coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave and a toaster oven. There is no oven or burners in the unit. There is a gas grill that is available for your use.

We also have another rental unit on the property, which is great if you want to travel with another couple/ friends. It is VRBO 969757 - please check it out! The other unit has a stove too.

You will have the pool house all to yourselves during the stay. You are also welcome to enjoy the pool ! There is plenty of parking should you decide to rent a 50cc motor bike or a Twizy electric mini car. We also have a Twizy charging station on the property for your convenience.

We have towels, beach towels, iron, hair dryer and shampoo all here for your use. There is cable TV (includes HBO and Showtime), free wifi and air conditioning/ dehumidifier/ heat.

Bermuda's largest nature reserve, Spittal Pond is a 10 minute walk from our property. It is a great, diverse walk. There are 2 very good restaurants in Flatts Village about a mile away, Rustico and the Village Pantry. Flatts is also home to the Bermuda Aquarium. Collectors Hill area is about a mile away and has a few restaurants, a pharmacy, grocery store and a gas station. Hamilton and St. Georges are each about a 15 minute taxi or bike ride away and offer many restaurants and shopping.

1. Relax, unwind and enjoy your Bermuda vacation! 2. No smoking inside the cottage at any time. 3. Please conserve water. On our island, each house collects its own water, which can become in short supply during the hot summer months. Please be sure to turn off taps when not in use. 4. Our electricity costs on the island are very high. In order to keep our rental fee down, please conserve energy whenever possible. Please turn off lights, TV and the air conditioner when you go out... it will only take a short time to cool the cottage upon your return. 5. Please do not leave out open food (it will go stale very quickly) and dirty dishes as both will attract roaches & ants....and our dogs! 6. Do not take the bathroom towels to the beach. Please use the beach towels provided. 7. The cottage is a self-sufficient unit (no housekeeping service during your stay). We request that you leave the property clean and tidy upon departure, with dishes washed and put away, and garbage neatly bundled. 8. Please do not let our dogs inside the cottage, as future guests may be allergic. 9. Please wash sand off with shower or hose on side wall of pool house before going inside, shake out towels. You are welcome to use the clothes line behind the pool house too. 10. Call on us for ANY assistance you may require during your stay. 11. Have fun!! Our family lives next door on the property, and we are there to greet you upon arrival, and are available to answer any questions throughout your visit. We want to help make your stay a memorable one!

The PoolHouse

Perfect for solo traveler or couple. Clean and safe environment. Easy access to bus (steep hill could be an issue for some), walking distance to grocery store, Spital Pond Nature Preserve (beautiful!) and two nice restaurants in Flatts (healthy walk). Hosts are friendly and accommodating. Make sure you like large friendly dogs. Have stayed here before and plan to return.

Amazing Stay

Everything you need and more! Gail, Chris and Tilly were the perfect hosts. We stayed 6 weeks in this cute pool house. Beautiful view of the pool and quiet private back yard. Moments from the bus line, Spittal Pond, and John Smith Bay. Groceries just down the street. We highly recommend this home for long or short stay. We feel like we have a new home away from home. We’ll be back!

Gail was an awesome host! Never got to meet Chris. We had a spectacular time exploring the island. Gail was very accommodating on spots to see and places to eat!! We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful pool house,

Chris and Gail were great hosts, They had a very friendly dog who kept me company. Very quiet location, close to bus stops. I would surely recommend this for couples who prefer peace and quiet!
