Welcome to Keauhou Kona Surf & Racquet Club, Unit #3-202! This beautiful, DIRECT oceanfront condo is Hawaiian Living at it's finest! Hear the ocean directly from the living room, lanai, and master bedroom. This condo is located on the 2nd floor of building 3. The condo has beach gear available for your convenience, and is fully equipped to help you have the perfect vacation.
Enjoy watching TV & Use of Wifi. You will have a spectacular time staying in this beautiful direct oceanfront condo. Newly installed LVP Floors in June 2024!

The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club is a gated community of condominiums. There are three professional style tennis courts with night lighting. The large remodeled swimming pool is ideal for “laps” and also for small children and other water activities. Showers and restrooms are conveniently located in the large pavilion near the swimming pool and tennis courts.
One of the most interesting features of the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club are the numerous archeological sites. These preserved areas provide a glimpse of Hawaiian life years ago. Each site has a posted description of the activities that took place years and years ago.
The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club has many gardens and walking trails. Flowers and tropical foliage are abundant. There are several outdoor barbecue areas for guests to use.
The Big Island is also known as the golf capital of Hawaii with 16 courses, 11 that are located in West Hawaii. There is a new driving range called the "Swing Zone" located near the Kailua Pier, for anyone who wants to brush up on a short stay.

Decompression heaven

This is our fourth time staying at KS&RC, first time in this condo. As always, this place is epic. The condo was perfect for a place to decompress from our usual lives, provide a base camp for our week of diving, and enjoy a week of getting quiet while looking at the ocean. The condo has everything anyone would need and was beautiful. Thank you. God bless.

The good: fantastic view, loved the location, grounds beautiful and peaceful, comfy bedThe bad: bathrooms badly in need of updating, can hear every move upstairs neighbors make, few more roaches than I had hoped. We extended our trip for 5 nights. Property was perfect. Loved the sound of the waves all night long as we slept with the doors open every night. Great base camp for our excursions to every corner of the island. Nice Peaceful setting!

Beautiful location on the Shore front

Beautiful location on the Shore front. Master suite spacious, sliding glass doors to the deck. Large deck with deck furniture. Only annoyance was red ants and not sure whether this is anything that can be prevented.

Some outlets didn't work, main tub water came out halfway in the shower head and half in the tub spicket, outside sun diffuser screen malfunction, and a few cockroaches.

Nice condo in Kona

Spacious condo within resort, with very nice view of the ocean. Very large balcony, with plenty of seating. Beds were comfortable, as well as furniture in the main room. The kitchen was a little small for the 4 of us, with not many drinking cups, but plenty of bowls and plates. Also, the fridge was good, with filtered drinking water inside, but only 1 ice tray in the freezer. Property manager was very easy to work with and responsive to our questions. And even though there was no AC, there are plenty of fans and the breeze from the ocean helped. Had a nice time staying here.

Calm and relaxing

The condo was clean, comfortable and plenty of basic supplies (tissue, soap, laundry supplies, etc) to last our entire stay. This complex is on the quiet end of Ali'i Drive away from the downtown portion. Quality restaurants within driving distance, Randy's Huli Chicken and Ribs road side food was excellent, seek it out! The condo itself sits just yards away from the ocean, so listening to sounds of the surf crash was a great way to fall asleep and wake up. If you want to unwind and just enjoy the peace and quiet this is the place to stay. Coffee on the lanai in the morning with the cool breeze, or the view of the ocean as the sun sets in the evening.

Wonderful Ocean Front Condo

This condo was fully equipped with everything we could need. There were four of us, my husband and I and two teenagers so the extra bathroom and twin beds were great for the kids. It is wonderful to have a designated parking space as well. While there was no air conditioning, we were able to keep the windows open which cooled off the condo and I didn’t feel concerned about leaving things open for the air. Very secure property. We had two other groups with us that stayed at the property and liked ours best!

The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials and the coolers were appreciated.The condo is in need of an update: the furniture and fixtures are very dated. Some issues that need to be addressed: cracks in kitchen tiles, the outdoor lounge chairs are rusted, and the washing machine drum is cracked/ taped together.The kayak in the 2nd bedroom was awkward behind the beds. Would be nice to mount it above the beds to create a better flow in the room.

Great Location - Great Views

We have stayed in other units in this complex in the past. This particular unit was good but it is needing a update. Patio doors need fixing, torn rug on deck, rusted washing machine, fans worked but extremely rusted and kitchen sink constantly dripped. Bathrooms need major update as well. Good things were the supply of water toys for the beach and kayaking, proximity to shopping, restaurants and some beaches along with the safe feeling being in a gated community.

Nice visit

Very nice but has some maintenance issues. The slider door screen off the master bedroom does not slide. The right back burner on the stove is inoperable. The other burners need to be leveled. For longer stays it would be helpful to have a vacuum. We did have some difficulties navigating the remote controls for the TV. But that could have been the fact that we are seniors. It is an enjoyable unit and would return

As a solo traveler I felt very safe and secure. I loved sitting on the lanai and watching the ocean, and enjoyed swimming in the pool everyday and walking around the beautiful grounds. The property is just a 5-minute drive from a shopping center that has a Longs Drugs, a number of restaurants, a great grocery store (KTA) and a farmer's market on Saturdays not to be missed. I hope to return soon!
