Lovely Modern Apartment

Apartment situated at top of Eiger Residence in the mountain village of Wengen in the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland. It is a car free village famous for the Lauberhorn ski race every January and its magnificent views of The Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains. You can also take a train journey through the Eiger mountain to the highest station in Europe at Jungfraujoch with its magnificent views and visit the revolving restaurant at the Schilthorn in Murren. The skiing and walking in Murren is also excellent and easy to reach from Wengen as is The First skiing and walking area in Grindelwald.


This lovely apartment is situated very centrally in the beautiful mountain village of Wengen in the Bernese Oberland. The village is car free and can only be reached by mountain railway. The apartment has 2 bedrooms - one with a double bed and one with 3 beds. 2 bathrooms one with a bath and one with a shower.. It has a spacious living area with eating area and the room has many windows which makes it very light and sunny. The kitchen is also spacious and modern and includes a dishwasher and a microwave. There is also a washing machine and drier. There is a lift to the 5th floor. Wengen is a beautiful mountain village with many lovely walks in the summer and winter. It is also a popular skiing area in winter and in summer there are tennis courts and indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Down in the valley there are beautiful lakes for boating etc. and there is a golf course in Interlaken which is only a short journey away.

Outstanding views in comfy apartment!

Everything we could have desired. The Lauterbrunnen Valley view changes every moment on a weather day and this view with huge windows that open wide makes it *all* beautiful.

Beautiful apartment in a very central location. Exactly as described and very clean and tidy. Large selection of books and games. Excellent service from owner and her representative in Wengen. Would certainly recommend both the property and Wengen for a holiday.

I live in Wengen for 4 months in the winter in a nearby apartment and visit frequently in the summer to see the lovely flowers and take beautiful walks. There is tennis and a lovely outdoor swimming pool and a golf course in Interlaken and many lovely terraces for a good lunch in the sunshine with an amazing view.

Why they chose this property

the apartment is VERY spacious and has magnificent views of the Jungfrau and other mountains and it is a very sunny and light apartment.

What makes this property unique

Right in the centre of Wengen - about 20 steps to the station and coop and a little more to the Mannlichen cable car. There are 2 excellent restaurants in the building and many more very close by.
