Super house in a great location for many activities. We had 8 adults and it was perfect. Great communication with the property manager. Will stay again.
We had a great stay. The property is accurately described and is in a great location. Plenty of room for the entire group to enjoy. We would definitely stay here again.
The property was just as amazing as described. On the side of a mountain with majestic views! The sunrise was amazing! The kitchen had everything we needed and the rooms were comfy. The net on the ping pong table was broken but we made do. A very small inconvenience. The location was good for entertainment. Close to Red Rocks, white water rafting and restaurants. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to spend some quiet time in the mountains of Colorado!
The house is perched with beautiful views and enough games to keep you entertained if you have to stay inside. The kitchen is great. The place feels remote while still only being 10 minutes or so from the highway. The yard is sufficient though not immaculately kept. The fixtures and furnishings are outdated but all in fair condition.
the view and setting of this property was perfect. The cabin was everything we expected. We did have an issue with the refrigerator but the delivered us a small fridge to get us by during our stay.
Our family gathered in town for a wedding. The house was very well stocked and was perfect for not only our little ones but the adults also. We contacted the property manager with a couple of issues, and he was very responsive and went over and above to assist us. Highly recommend the property!
Wonderful property and spectacular views. There were crickets in the basement (1st) level but that was the only problem we had. Everything else was very clean. We would stay at this property again.
We loved our stay and the house was great with spectacular views. We loved the wildlife and beautiful sunrises. The beds were comfortable. We had an issue with the water heater and Sal was great and had plumbers sent over quickly and got it fixed. We enjoyed Red Rocks, Golden and Breck. We also went fly fishing with great guides. There is plenty to do and loved coming back to this beautiful house! Just a heads up that the road is definitely up in the mountains and you just have to be cautious.
We had a great time in Evergreen on this beautiful property. Family of 6 had plenty of space a great accommodations. Kitchen had everything we needed. Kids enjoyed ping pong table. Hot tub was clean and refreshing and we had spectacular views from every part of the house. The views from the porch are amazing. Even in living room you feel the mountains coming at you! We took a lot of trips to Idaho Springs for dinner. We were close to rafting, ATV, and horseback riding adventures! 5 stars ⭐️ easily!
Our stay in Evergreen was awesome. We stayed with our immediate family as well as some extended family members for Christmas and the home was everything we could have wanted. The kitchen was adequately stocked with pans/dishes to cook several large holiday meals, the hot tub and game room were both great, and we had enough space to spread out when we wanted. We did get about 8 in of snow while we were there, which just added to the beauty! I would recommend all wheel drive for the road to the cabin in snowy weather. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful location
The location is incredible. The property it self was very dated. Missing tiles, dirty cabinet faces in the kitchen. It also required a good wipe down. Lots of bugs noted on the floor on the first floor all the windows were dirty with hand prints. We suggest a good clean to entire house including base boards, windows ( to show how beautiful the site). The home was perfect for what we needed. Our entire family was able to relax and enjoy our family wedding with the location nestled 30 minutes from Denver and venue.

WOW! Gorgeous property and with incredible view!!
Fabulous property with amazing lofted view of valley. Truly stunning vista for a mountain vacation with close proximity to Idaho Springs and Evergreen... and Denver if your prefer shopping. Well stocked property. Nice deck areas (main and lower level). Nice private outdoor hot tub. Very spacious! Foosball and pin pong table were a hit as well. Spacious garage for 2 cars and a large driveway.
Highly recommend hiking to St. Mary's Glacier and Rafting the Clear Creek! Tommyknockers brewpub also a hit downtown Idaho Springs!
The description of the house is accurate. We loved the bedrooms being in different levels for privacy. The fact there are 2 living areas was great. Some of us were downstairs playing games and others upstairs watching football. The kitchen was adequately stocked. However, one of the ping-pong paddles is broken (mentioned in prior review), many of the “players” in the foosball table are missing legs so pretty useless, and the jacuzzi never got warm enough to use. The property manager, Deidre, was very attentive and responded quickly if we had a question. We were able to get the sheets and towels in the laundry before leaving and the dishwasher on but had never been asked to do that in other vrbo’s. Overall it is a great home for a family reunion.
The house is nice, but nothing out of the ordinary. View at night is wonderful as during the day you can see (and hear) the interstate in the distance. The ping pong table is a great idea but it would be even better if it had more than 2 paddles (which were in bad shape). The kitchen is well stocked w/ spices, pots, pans, etc. Unfortunately, we all prefer dark bedrooms: not to be found at this house. Beds were very comfortable.....we just didn't know we'd have the sun so early in the morning.

Jay, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
"We are glad you enjoyed your stay and we're sorry some things fell a little short of your expectations.
-You are correct, the house has amazing 180-degree mountain views and beautiful night city views as it is perched up high above in the mountains. You can see the highway in the distance but you can't hear it from inside the house- even with the windows open- nor from the back patio. The only time you might hear it is when you are on the front balcony during busy traffic and even then it is barely noticeable and should not bother most people.
-The fact that the house is not too far from the highway makes it very convenient and easy to get to most places the area has to offer
in no time.
-Our ping pong paddles are all high-quality well-padded ones. There are at least 4 other brand-new ones stored in a bin next to the table. We're sorry if you missed them.
-We have blackout curtains in all bedrooms, so the sun shouldn't have been a problem at all but we are glad you found the beds comfortable though. Thank you again for staying with us."
We did not arrive until the sun was already set, so we had no idea how incredible the view and area was until the morning. The house is spacious and perfect for cooking large meals. It supplied a good amount of cooking utensils, which was very accommodating. The house was very clean!! The house is close enough to town however, far enough were you have privacy and quiet. I recommend checking out the local hot springs, it was like nothing else I have ever seen before and only about a 17 minute drive.
The only thing, which has nothing to do with the house, Ubers/ Lyft will not come up to the house because of the drive around the mountain. so trying to find any sort of cab is almost impossible. You must plan head!!!

Wonderful place to spend Thanksgiving
We stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday visiting my daughter who moved to Denver last year. The views are very beautiful and perfect for sunrises. The property was very clean including the hot tub. (I am very picky about hot tub water!) The kitchen is well equipped and, other than the purchase of a disposable roasting pan, we had everything needed to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner. A few of the burners were a little glitchy on the stove but not problematic. I think this was mentioned in a previous review as well. The property management is generous in what is supplied such as dish soap, dishwasher detergent pods, trash bags, toilet paper, etc. There is also a pretty decent assortment of spices, coffee filters, etc. I would imagine that some of these latter items are left behind so shouldn't be expected. The location is far enough out of the city but not completely isolated and only a 10-15 minute trip to town for the essentials. We rented a Jeep which I was happy to have after some snowfall but my daughter has an AWD vehicle and did just fine. We enjoyed playing ping pong and the plastic bowling game down on the lower level. There are also some board games and puzzles on the main level that we enjoyed. We had a very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to return to this property in the future!

Wonderful home, but I won't rent from Sal again.
I recently spent a long weekend here with six couples. The house itself was very nice and we had a wonderful time with friends! When we arrived, however, there was a list sitting out with several issues the previous guests had found in the home. Items such as a ceiling fan not working, the AC unit not kicking in, a bedroom door not staying closed, the garage door opener "needing adjustment" etc. The list was dated six days prior to our check in and not one item on the list had been addressed. The following morning, we took it upon ourselves to fix what we could and alerted Sal about the list and the remaining items. Sal was very defensive. He made numerous excuses such as this is his busiest time of the year, the strong economy makes finding help difficult, and summer temps usually aren't this warm to name a few. I didn’t need excuses, just a simple apology would have helped. He went so far as to argue with me on the phone that the AC unit was working, when I know for a fact it was not. I am a homeowner and landlord and know when an AC unit kicks on and when it does not. When spending this kind of money on a home, I expect amenities to be working and a homeowner with a bit more tact. While I enjoyed my stay, I would not rent from Sal again.

I am sorry that you feel this way Melissa. But there is always 2 sides to a story. I pride myself on providing my guests with the best possible experience as evidenced by the 100s of happy guests and 5 star reviews.
I never made any excuses and I was very diligent in getting your concerns addressed. You called me around 4pm on Friday night about the AC not working. When you checked in the temperature inside the house was 73 degrees upstairs and 69 degrees downstairs when it was 89 degrees outside. Still all I said is it seems to be working and when you demanded that an AC company comes that same day to look at, I asked kindly to please bear with me as I make phone calls and mentioned that I may not be able to get someone there the same day as it is the weekend and I am at the contractor's mercy. No excuses, just the truth.
Then you emailed me the next morning and said that the house cooled off and everything is fine and that the AC is now working fine.
I still sent a tech up to the house at the earliest available appointment just to make sure everything is good. He confirmed that the AC was working fine and the temp dropped to 68 degree.
Then you mentioned a note that the previous guest left at the house. I explained to you over the phone and email, that I never saw the list. I was never contacted with any concerns while they were staying. You texted me a copy of that list after you checked out but we found nothing wrong with any of the items she mentioned.
There was nothing wrong with the fans, she just didn't know how to turn them on.
She complained that they couldn't use the ping pong table, because they couldn't find paddles when there are 4 spare paddles in the basket on the counter right next to the ping pong table. All she had to do is email me, text me or call me and I would have showed her where they were.
There was nothing wrong with the garage door. You were able to open it and use it for 2 days before the battery on the opener died unexpectedly. That does not means that the door is broken as you claim. The remote needed a new battery. I provide spare batteries at the house in case such a thing happens. Batteries do go out and without notice. And while that might've been a small inconvenience, all it took is 1 minute of your time to replace the batteries and to make the garage work again.
I must've rubbed you off the wrong way Melissa. Whatever it was, it was not my intention and I am sorry for that. Thank you again for choosing my home.
This was a beautiful place for the family to have a peaceful retreat! We enjoyed our stay! We experienced a couple of issues, but overall it was good!
It smelled awful in the kitchen upon arrival. We figured out that it was the garbage disposal which had food left in it. The utensils were not clean. Many had food particle stains and was not properly cleaned, so we went to buy plastic utensils. It wouldn't hurt to update some of the pots and pans, hand towels and face towels. The bath towels were in great condition.
Several of the burners on the stove did not come on at all (back ones). The ones in the front would not work consistently. We had to turn them off and on several times to get the burners on, which caused it to smell of gas pretty badly. This is not normal for a gas stove.
The gas grill was really dirty, even after we cleaned it we were unable to use it. It still caught fire at the bottom so we had to take the food off, shut off the propane and put the fire out.
Many of the lights and light bulbs on the property (front, back and inside) were not working and need to be replaced, the most concerning lights that were not working were the ones where the jacuzzi was located. We got in the jacuzzi just before dark and was not able to see very well into the nearby thicket. There was gravel in the jacuzzi bottom. It was hard to relaxing while trying to keep a sharp eye out for yogi the bear. We emailed management about the lights.
The smoke alarm was beeping all night long which was a bit annoying. Our first morning the coffee maker had old coffee in the filter, and was not working, so we were not able to drink the much needed caffeine. The front door was jamming and was difficult to open. We called the management team. The response to the coffee issue and smoke alarm was great and in the early afternoon they brought a new coffee maker, replaced the battery for the smoke alarm and left some much appreciated treats!
This is a beautiful house in a perfect location with spectacular views! Maintenance is key to keeping it this way. My recommendation is that if the renters are going to be responsible for cleaning and putting up the dishes, etc., in addition to the cleaning fee charged. There needs to be an inspection, before the next party arrives to make sure all these things have been properly cleaned and taken care of and also make sure everything noticeable is working properly.
The house had plenty of space and the views were amazing. Owners accommodated request to check in an hour earlier. Good communication. Only negative was that it was not very clean. We had to clean when we got there.
Overall great experience! Views from the house are amazing. Sal is great to work with. Very easy communication from booking to check-in and check-out. Thank you Sal!
Our family of 3 generations enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and fully stocked with everything we needed. There’s plenty of space on all 3 levels.
