Luxury huge Victorian Villa 7000 sq ft. 15 min to DC. Sleeps 27 guests.

This new house is a Golden Gem. With almost 7,000 square feet of space on the upper lot two levels you will feel like you are in a palace. There is a a beautiful, new Steinway & Sons Grand Piano for those who love to play. The entire house can sleep 27 people. On the upper level, It sleeps 12 people and there is a a Victorian toddler bed that they can sleep in. In the basement, level, there are 3 additional bedrooms and a loft room.. The Basement level sleeps 13.

You will have access to a very high speed internet. Large 60 inch HD televisions with 365 channels cable including HBO and the premium movie channels. You have 2 washers/dryer. There is an exercise bike. You will not have to buy a thing! Fully equipped with dishes, silverware, pots/pans, linens, towels, etc. Just bring your suitcase!



The location is amazing!. It is less than a quarter of a mile to the 495 beltway. 5 minutes to get on to Route I66. 7 minutes to get on I395. There is a Bus stop 200 feet away.
Safeway and H-Mark supermarkets, restaurants, and Shopping Plaza walking distance 3 blocks away.
Very close to Dunn Loring Metro ( only 3.8 miles away); 12 minutes to Washington D.C. Tyson's Corner Center ( 6 minutes ) Northern Virginia Community College is (5 min and 1.9 miles away)

Upper level Description of Rooms:

1. The Suite Master bedroom is a HUGE and comes with its own huge Designer bathroom with double sinks, a beautiful Jacuzzi tub, a Huge shower area. The Master suite has a King size bed and within the suite there is also a sofa bed with a great memory foam mattress. The room also has its own 50 inch HD Television.

2. This other Room Suite has a Queen bed with its full own private bathroom as well with shower/tub.. There is a 35 " HDTV as well

3. 2nd Bedroom has a Queen Size Bed. We call it the "Romantic Room".

4. This 2nd Master Bedroom has a king Bed and also a bunk bed. It has a Bay view widows and has lots of space So a total of 4 people can sleep there. The Room has a 40 inch HDTV

NOTE:
Absolutely No drugs or smoking is allowed. If either smoking or drugs are discovered, the entire security deposit will not be returned. No parties allowed.
We do require a minimum of 3 nights for weekend reservations. For Holidays or special occasions we require a 4 night minimum. Thanksgiving we do require 5 nights.
If there have more than 18 guests in the group , there is a $35 fee per night per guest (which does not include taxes) regardless of they sleep at the property or are visiting
There are security cameras in front of the house for security and checkin.

We were bringing newborn babies, so one of the main reasons we reserved this house, despite the high cost, was the hot tub and the nice backyard. When we checked in, the hot tub water was green with white and black particles floating. The host said it was cleaned 9 days ago and never sent the technician to address the issue. The backyard was also very unkempt, not like the pictures, so we couldn’t use the area. There was also an issue with the thermostat (possibly preprogrammed on the Nest app), and the house was freezing cold one night and uncomfortably hot the next. Rest of the house was clean and spacious.

Home Away From Home (for the Wedding)

We live in Germany and our family lives all over the US, so it was fortunate to find a place for us all to stay for my daughter's wedding. My son said it looked like a castle when he walked in.The location was ideal and Nemeh was always attentive and helpful.Everyone had a comfortable and lovely time.

Family Getaway

We took 15 kids, and 6 Adults and saw all of DC comfortably. Kids had a great time in the hot tub, and the adults and kids were separated with all the extra space in the house.

Reunion

This place accommodated my 5 siblings and their families beautifully! Lots of space for everyone to spread out in without feeling on top of each other. 4 bedrooms and 3 baths on the top level were perfect for the adults. The bottom level was amazing and perfect for the 2 year old. Was able to take hjs naps/bedtime routine without being disturbed,or for that matter wake up the rest of the house. Large well equipped kitchen,plenty of space in the dining room to have 16 of us sit down for meals. Lots of parking in the driveway, we were able to fit 5 cars easily. The pictures and description of the house are spot on. Easy drive from both DC airports. Host was very responsive and helpful.

This home was very clean and well appointed. It's very large which was perfect for our family gathering to bury my father at Arlington. Nemeh was very easy to communicate with and helpful. We would stay here again.

Amazing location with a great property manager!

This house was equipped with everything our group needed for the weekend and was in an amazing location! We walked to McDonalds across the street and it has an amazing selection of restaurants nearby. What really put our experience over the top was the amazing customer service from Nemeh. He was always quick to respond and was so friendly!

Couldn't be happier!

This home is even lovelier and cozier than the photos show! The host, Nemeh, reached out to welcome us and made both check-in and check-out seamless. The property was spotless and well-maintained inside and out. Each of the 18 members of our family slept very comfortably, and the kitchen was stocked with every essential for large family meals. We could not be happier with our stay and hope we can visit again!

Great House for Girls Weekend

We booked this house for a girl's weekend for my mom's 70th birthday. The house is beautiful and we all loved it. The host Nemeh was just a message away and answered all of our random questions. We spent the majority of the weekend nearby in Alexandria and National Harbor. The house is conveniently located near the highway and is easy to access. We loved the grand dining room table, the gorgeous staircase, and there was plenty of space and bedrooms to accommodate all of us. I would definitely book this house and stay again.

Spacious and Inviting!

We had a wonderful time during our stay! The house was huge - there was plenty of room for the kids to play, the adults to socialize, and for several of us to prep food around the very large kitchen island at the same time! It was decorated for Christmas, which was a bonus. The owners, who were extremely warm and welcoming, met with us upon arrival and briefed us on all aspects of the home. One note, if you are planning on having more than 20 people, there is an additional charge. When we booked, this information was not on the site and it took a while to work through this and we did have to pay extra. Also, the 8th bedroom which is downstairs, is not an actual room. It is very comfortable, but located at the bottom of the stairs with no privacy. Regardless, should our travels bring us back to Arlington and the need for lots of space, this is where we will stay!

Love This House!

We have stayed at this location for three years now. Annually, I bring students and some of their parents as part of our school's 8th grade DC trip. Although it's a bit further from DC, the house is ideally located just a few feet from the bus stop, which is then an easy trip to the Metro. Also, the house's location is perfect in that McDonald's is right there for late-night ice cream, and just down the street from Safeway for those forgotten groceries. The house, itself, is beautiful (more than students deserve, lol) and is perfect for sleeping girls on one floor and boys two floors away. The kitchen is completely stocked and huge, and the large eating area allows for all of us to cook and share in the meals. The students and adults have plenty of space to hang together or find a quiet corner to read. As a host, Nemeh is WONDERFUL. He checks in regularly and is always available to answer questions and give suggestions. He's a super, accommodating host who has even rearranged furniture ahead of our arrival to suit our needs. I cannot say enough good things about this house. We plan on returning again and again.

Exceeded Our Expectations

The description and pictures of the house on the VRBO website are very good but one has to see the house for themselves to truly appreciate it. We had 6 adults and 6 children ages 9-18 and we all had our own space. The bedrooms were nicely appointed and offered everyone a good nights sleep. With 2 separate living areas the kids could be downstairs and the adults could enjoy peace and quiet upstairs. The kitchen and dining areas are very large and well furnished. We had some spring like weather and were able to take advantage of the patio and grill which worked out great. Nemeh and Fabiana were perfect hosts and insured we had everything we needed. They met us when we arrived and were there when we departed. The house was very clean and well maintained. They checked in with us several times during our stay to see if we needed anything. The location of the house is great with Safeway very nearby and the metro station less then a 20 minute drive depending on the time of day. I would recommend this house to anyone traveling with a large group to the Washington DC area.

Just my honest opinion...

I want to begin by saying that obviously people have different opinions, perspective, and expectations. This house has great reviews so we decided to book for 10 days/9 nights. We had 3 elderly grandparents in our party of 10. We always travel in a big family group, so we have rented homes all over the world. The house is by far the cleanest house we have ever rented. Kudos to the cleaning lady, Maria. The kitchen is well equipped. The house in our opinion is not a Golden Gem, it’s not a Luxury Victorian Villa, it’s not a Palace as stated in the listing. We were disappointed that there was not 6 bathrooms as listed, it has 4 -full bathrooms and 2 -1/2 baths. It has 7 bedrooms not 8. When your traveling in a big group, what some might consider minor issues to us it changes our whole stay. Listing states sleeps 27 people! Maybe college students on couches, floors, etc... but we found sleeping arrangement for 10 of us to be tight. Yes, there are sleeper sofas around the house, even in the master bedroom, and a 2nd room has a king bed along with bunk beds, but we like our own space not shared space. The stairs were a bit too much for the 3 grandparents who are 76, 80, and 86 years old.. There’s no bedrooms on the main floor. They had to take flights of stairs to their rooms with our assistance. The house is centrally located. We were around 20-25 min away from Alexandria, Georgetown, DC, National Harbour. Location was great. However, Walking distance from house is workers waiting to be picked up for work not safe to walk by. Wasshing machine on 2nd floor was never fixed even though a tech came by early one morning. The Jacuzzi was dirty and full of mold. Most rooms upstairs did not have the cable working so we were not able to watch TV in the rooms. We had to buy garbage bags, paper towels, and extra toilet paper. If the house sleeps 27 people there should be enough supplies. Furniture has excess usage. Once we voiced our opinions to the Owner the day after our check in, we never heard from them again. They had an excuse for everything when we spoke to them on the phone that one time. There was also an additional tax that was collected after our payment and confirmation thru VRBO. Overall we tried to make the best of the situation. I know that the owners will respond to my review like they have in previous reviews, excuses, excuses, excuses. Just wanted my honest opinion to be heard.

Nice sized property. Good for groups/families. Lots of amenities. Kitchen is well stocked with plates, utensils etc. Big dining area for family meals. Some differences between the listing and details section. Only 7 bedrooms not 8 bedrooms. Many pull-out couches and bunk beds if people are willing to share. My group didn't see the massaging chair advertised in one of the pictures. Wifi router and password were different than what was listed on the check-in page. Host responded to messages in a timely manner.

Family Memorial Visit

This house was the perfect house for our visit to the DC area to have a memorial for my mother. We were an extended family group whose ages ranged from 95 to 25 with one toddler. After visiting Arlington National Cemetery we were able to have a home cooked family dinner at the rather impressive large table with all of my Mom's favorite foods as well as presenting a slideshow on one of the large flat panel TVs. There was plenty of space in the house for everyone to have their own rooms as well as cozy seating for quiet conversation. We very much enjoyed one of our group members on the piano filling the space with music. We were a little concerned about our 95 year old Aunt and all the stairs, but she handled them surprisingly well. The location has easy access to main thoroughfares, grocery stores, and restaurants. It was a great trip and I would recommend this house for large groups visiting the area.

True Luxury

We came with a group of high school students. The house had a ton of room for a large group like ours. The host was very attentive if I had a need or question, it was answered immediately and very helpful. The house is beautiful, first class all the way, fresh, clean throughout. Our group will definitely book this again next year for our trip. This house is also very close to bud stop, fast food, and many other amenities. I give it a 10 of 10!

Perfect Place for a Family Gathering

My family — spouse, kids and grandkids — gathered for a week at this property for Thanksgiving — a total of 19 of us — and it was a great house that served us well! Plenty of room and beds, lots of space for people of all ages. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was perfect for a large gathering. There were actually 2 kitchens which made it easy for us to store all the food and beverages we needed for a wonderful Thanksgiving feast! Easy to get to and close to stores. And only about 25 minutes to DC, which made it simple for us to sightsee for multiple days during our stay. I definitely recommend this house!

Perfect family reunion

We just stayed here for an extended weekend, and I can’t say enough good things about this property. The neighborhood is quiet, grocery and restaurants are close and convenient, access to highway/tourist attractions was simple and easy. The house is incredibly well stocked with anything you might need as a family, including baby items and simple toys which we really appreciated as we all traveled from across the country to have our reunion. It is impeccably clean, beautifully furnished, and we had the best time. So much that we decided to forego seeing city sites and spend the day on the house together instead just relaxing and enjoying the comfort of the home. I would definitely book this again. Thank you to the hosts for their top notch hospitality!
