About this property

Welcome to the cottage, your home away from home! With unique charm in a great, quiet neighborhood, the cottage is walking distance to First and Second Beach. It offers a wonderful wrap around deck for relaxing, with beautiful, private gardens and patio.

The upstairs has a great open floor plan with a living area with plenty of natural light and beautiful woodwork and ceiling, a large kitchen and dining room for entertaining. There is also a full bath with a large tub. Downstairs included two additional sleeping spaces, and has a full bath (shower) and large windows looking out into the gardens.

The house is within a mile from First and Second Beach and only a few minutes drive into downtown Newport. It is located in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood. Enjoy a beautiful walk down to Second Beach through St Georges school fields or take a hike up to the Aquidneck Land Preservation at the end of the street.

Perfect home, Perfect location!

This property was in an ideal location for us to enjoy all Newport and Middletown sights and attractions. The home is so close to 2nd and 3rd beaches. The house was clean, well-equipped and comfortable. We had a great time and we will be back!

Great fall weekend getaway

This home was so cozy and homey! We loved the New England feel to this home and we loved all the wood. The lighting coming into the home was beautiful in the mornings. The backyard was absolutely beautiful, my dog really enjoyed the yard and sniffing around! The home had a parking spot for the car. We would 10000% come back!

Cozy Cottage

This was our second stay at the cottage. Cozy and roomy for party of 4. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Beaches and downtown Newport are just a short drive away. If you like walking, you can walk or jog to the beaches. Will consider staying there again.
