This modern beach condo is located in Faro De Mita Condominiums which is a private and quiet gated community with 7x24 security and convenient access to all the beachfront restaurants and shops in Punta de Mita. The ground floor is steps away from the large infinity pool, which also includes a shallow area with in-pool lounge chairs and a lower, shallow children's pool as well. The condo has floor to ceiling sliding glass doors to a large outdoor patio with both covered and uncovered areas which extend the indoor/outdoor living space. The large patio includes a couch & chairs for an outdoor sitting area, a dining table & chair set, plus two full length lounge chairs. The patio is surrounded on both sides by lush plants to provide a private area with gorgeous views of the Pacific ocean and the surf break. There is also private beach access to Anclote Beach for enjoying the beach and quick access to surfing.

Proximity to town:
Guests of faro de mita are provided with secure pedestrian access to restaurant row in the town proper of punta mita. Less than a 5 minute walk to all the local popular restaurants, shops and activities.

The second bedroom has two twin beds which can be made into a King Bed. Please advise configuration desired (twin or king) upon booking.

Great location close to everything

Very comfortable condo located close to amazing restaurants, shopping and massage. Just a short jaunt to the St. Regis and Four Seasons hotels where you can make lunch or dinner reservations with your concierge and rent a golf cart to take you up there.

We come to Punta Mita every year to surf. This is our first time to Faro. We will be back. It has great location and very quiet and lovely accommodations.

This place was absolutely perfect for my family. The wide open living/outside area, the lawns and the pool, beach access and East to get to town walking. Antonio the guard was a pleasure to speak with and get to know. We will miss him.

Fantastic Unit and Location

This place and the manager are great. The unit has been remodeled a bit as compared to other units in the building and the kitchen was done with nice marble and an extra countertop and lends a high end look. The beds are great and the furniture is a cut above other units also. This location is awesome for walking to town and beach.

Tranquil Location with great pool.

We arrived to a secure gated facility approximately 45 minutes from the airport. The unit was clean and perfect for 6 people including two adults, three teens, and a toddler. The patio area and pool were very peaceful. Overall the unit and grounds were wonderful. The beach is not the greatest it is still enjoyable and there are nearby beaches for variety.

Such a great spot!!

We loved our lanai and close proximity to the town. The pool and beach were wonderful. The AC worked great, and when it didn’t, it got fixed right away! The concierge by the bay was so helpful and so comforting. We could text them at any time and ask for assistance or book activities. We would love to come back. Wish they had a store, restaurant or bar on the complex but this is a residence so it makes sense that they don’t…tons of options within walking distance. Place was spacious and overkill for 2 guests but we loved it!

One of the Very Best

This unit was exceptional. It's on the ground floor facing south, with an awesome view of the pool, ocean, and manicured grounds. It's well furnished with high quality furnishings and appliances. Comfortable and attractive. The palms and other plantings provided good privacy from the units on either side. Most days the (unheated) pool was over 80 degrees, and it was never busy.

Awesome family vacation

We were so excited at how accurate the web description on this condo was. Perfect amount of steps to the pool with enough privacy. Stoked on the beach just a 3 minute walk farther than pool. Rocks and urchins were ledgit. Bring water shoes. Especially for kiddos. Rooms were still in good shape. Kitchen was well stocked. Service from concierge was top notch. Punta de Mita is a great place to find a lot of excellent restaurants, minutes walking from this condo. Grocery store right across the street. Very friendly and helpful locals.

Beach not very good

Beach is not the best. Also path leading to the beach floods with heavy rains and its not passable. Make sure the TV in the bedroom is compatible with Netflix and prime. Did not work the entire time we were there and manager could not make it work.

Perfect for families

Our stay was overall very wonderful and it was the perfect space for a small family. My 2 year old loved the pool, just steps away, and we appreciated how quiet and peaceful the property is. I should note that one of the “bedrooms” is very small and has a laundry area with the washing machines and shelves full of towels, linens, detergent, etc so it’s not exactly a luxurious room. Also, they did spray for pests and rats on our patio and the lawn right in front of us- we wish that was communicated to us clearly since we wanted to keep our small kids away from the toxic environment. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back.

Wish I was still there....!

1. Location - perfectly situated to walk to coffee, restaurants, the market, beach 2. Property - super safe, gorgeous views, very clean grounds, awesome pool and outdoor entertaining area, very lush and green. 3. The condo itself - gorgeous condo with amazing views. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, showers had great hot water and water pressure, I loved that all of the fan and light remotes were labeled. Plenty of bottled drinking water was provided. 4. We had a great experience with our concierge and even arrived to find fresh guac, pico and chips waiting for us! Would definitely stay here again! Two side notes- The "3rd bedroom" is actually a bed in the utility room. It was fine, but felt like a stretch to call it a bedroom and I think it should be more clearly identified in the listing. And I'm not sure that this room has any AC and I can't imagine how that would be in the summer months. Also, the listing shows two beds in the second bedroom. When we got there, they were assembled into one king bed. If we had stayed longer, we would have asked to have them separated because we were looking for the arrangement in the listing, not the king. So depending on your needs, maybe just clarify ahead of time.

wonderful place to stay

We stayed here for two weeks. The place is very clean, staff come in everyday. We did have a few minor things that needed fixing but they were fixed immediately. the people at NorthShore (Kelsie and Shirley) were very helpful to our needs. You do have to take fast showers but water doesn't get too cold anyway. We loved walking right out the patio to the pool. The ocean is a short walkway to watch surfers or go for a walk. The residents and other guests at Faro de Mita were very friendly and welcoming. We learned about other hidden restaurants, zumba classes and yummy BBQ chickens in the sleepy quaint town, We felt safe walking around. If you want to venture further, easily take a bus ride to Sayulita or San Pancho.

Unit "looked" great, BUT looks can be deceiving!

Upon arrival, the unit looked great. But things started going wrong 1 by 1. The hot water was non-existent during our entire stay. Cold showers for everyone. The water pressure was also terrible. Shower holes were clogged. The ones that were working shot out like a jet stream (even on low setting) and was actually painful! They sent a maintenance guy who “fixed” the problem. The following shower had hot water for 30 secs then went right back to cold again, same with the water pressure. Maintenance guy came back a 2nd time and we were told that there wasn’t a solution cuz the hot water tank was too small for the unit. Ok? Shouldn’t the owners have a big enough water tank to accommodate the size of the unit that consists of 2 bathrooms?? They also said the water pressure is normal in Mexico cuz of the minerals in the water. Makes sense about the minerals, but if there was regular cleaning of the shower heads, it wouldn’t have been an issue, especially since we had 11 friends staying in 3 other units within the condo & none of them had any issues with hot water or pressure. Needless to say all 4 of us went our entire stay taking crappy & unpleasant showers. The drier was also broken. We would put a load in for 3 hrs & it would still be damp. Maintenance guy also came on 2 separate occasions to “fix” this issue, only to dry the 1 load but the very next load would be the same thing again. The sliding door also jammed up on itself the very 1st night. It somehow went off track just by us trying to close it. We had to sleep with the door ajar the entire night, not safe at all. The beds were hard & uncomfortable. We all woke up every morning with sore backs, etc. Then there was the 1 issue that took the cake...we had an unwanted visitor scurrying around our entire stay: it was a mouse! Seen on 3 separate occasions…running under the fridge…running under the couch. Our friend also noticed several mouse droppings under the couch cushions 1 day while trying to look for the remote. Yuck. Who knows how long they’ve been there for, or how many of them there are. We think they may have set up shop inside that couch somewhere. Overall our stay was quite unpleasant. We asked for reimbursement for at least 2 nights but were told the contract policy doesn't allow that? Haha funny, cuz we're pretty sure the contract also states that everything should be in working order, etc... Great customer service guys! U should give yourselves a pat on the back for this one...

Great place

I have stayed many times in Faro de Mita with my family and decided to return with some friends in October. The condo was perfect for our group of 4, location was ideal and the concierge was extremely helpful. Unfortunately the weather was not great as we did get a couple grey days but we made the best of it! We had a chef cook a home prepared meal with the fish we caught which was a great experience. We will be returning the same time next year!
