Bayside is a first floor apartment overlooking the water. Bayside is located on a small resort property nestled in a native hammock on Florida Bay. An easy 90 minute drive from Miami International Airport, this property is located in the heart of Islamorada, directly on Florida Bay. Bayside is fully air conditioned and there are ceiling fans throughout. The kitchen is modern and equipped with all the necessary appliances. The property is a nature lovers dream with resident fish, lobster, an octopus and an occasional manatee in the marina, iguanas that sun themselves by the boat basin and pelicans, egrets and osprey that fly in for periodic visits. Our boat basin can accommodate boats up to 26 feet in length and dockage is included in the rental.

The property is private and secluded, away from traffic and noise, yet is convenient to many of the best restaurants and attractions in the Keys. A variety of shopping is nearby. Sunsets over the water of Florida Bay are breathtaking. Well behaved pets are welcome, please inquire.

Bayside has a master bedroom with a king size bed and it's own bathroom. There is a second bath. There is a new queen size Murphy bed in the living room. The living room and dining area are bright and sunny. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, range and microwave, dishwasher, icemaker, coffee pot, blender, dishes and pots and pans. A barbecue is provided to grill your fresh catch. The entertainment center has a TV with cable services, a DVD player, and stereo should it rain one afternoon. A clothes washer and dryer are provided. The marina has electric service and water, and has automatic lights at night.

A boat ramp is available for boats up to 20 feet. Trailer parking is included for one boat trailer. Dockage for 1 boat 26 feet or less
parking for 2 cars included in the rental is admission to the Islamorada Founders Park, just a short drive north to Plantation Key where you will find an olympic size pool, tennis, ball fields, and other amenities.

You're minutes away from the best back country (bonefish, tarpon, permit, snook, redfish), blue water (sailfish, dolphin, wahoo, cobia) and reef fishing (grouper, snapper, yellowtail) in the entire Florida Keys. Fishing off of our jetty in the evening is a lot of fun for the kids. Magnificent snorkeling and scuba diving sites abound in the local area. A wide range of boating activities are available year round since our area of the bay is well protected. Sea Kayaking and canoeing along our shoreline is popular. Of course water skiing and knee-boarding are a hit with the kids. Local shopping for clothing, souvenirs, and fishing and boating needs is plentiful. Grocery stores are convenient.

There are several local attractions if you need a day out of the sun and there are several . Key West is a day-trip away.

Bayside is an unique place, and the people who visit, both owners and guests, feel very special about the property. The privacy is wonderful, the accommodations are new and clean, the property peaceful, and the access to the fishing is the best in the Keys, indisputably. Bayside generally rents for 1 week intervals, from Saturday to Saturday. If Bayside is what you are looking for, please contact us and to reserve the dates. The reservation will be confirmed upon receiving a check for $500.00. The balance of the rental costs including tax (12.5%) are due 8 weeks before arrival.
