Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is in a great location on the beach parking is underneath the tennis court so it’s in the shade. You need a key to enter the building and a key to use the elevator so it’s very secure. The unit itself is just like the pictures perfect for two people. Great view of the sunset on the beach. The pool was taken care of every morning housekeeping was always cleaning the hallways and the lobby. Some of the furniture is outdated, but it’s comfortable and in good condition.

If you are in your middle to late 60’s, the beach chairs are not easy for getting in and out of. Also the bedroom could use some new furniture. Other then that we had a wonderful stay.

Our week at Marco Island

Our stay at the Appollo was perfect. We celebrated our wedding anniversary, 44 years and counting! The condo was located near the beach access and pool . Coffee on the balcony each morning watching the dolphins swim was a plus. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be going back again!

Fun way to celebrate 40 yrs together!

We absolutely had a fantastic time. The location of the property was perfect! Nice to have a restaurant in the same building. First time we've been to Marco Island and it won't be our last. We loved watching the sun set over the gulf on the balcony. Great place. Very clean.

March 2021 Stay

My wife and I had a great time here for a quick get-away. The condo is perfect for such an occasion. There are a good number of restaurants about a half mile walk away. I saw on some reviews that people were concerned about the smell of the restaurant below. We did not experience that on our trip. Overall, this was a solid place to stay and my wife and I would stay here again.

I wasn’t going to leave a review, but since VRBO has reached out so many times, I guess I will. The unit itself was exactly as described. For us it was a little challenging not having much counter space since we like to cook but that certainly isn’t the fault of the owner. It’s pretty obvious in the pictures what to expect. The unit was very clean - great view. I think our only issue was with the property mgmt co. They informed us a couple days ahead of time the window shade was not working and would take a couple days before it was fixed. Ok, what can you do? We quickly realized it was quite a pain getting onto the patio because you could barely move the shade. We actually spilled coffee on ourselves the one morning and were afraid we were going to somehow break the shade trying to get out there.I had msgd the property mgr and I said you know this really is a pain. I feel like there should’ve been some sort of gesture of goodwill. We are the customer. A small credit or even hey, here’s a couple cups of coffee on us for the inconvenience. I mean you are paying for the view but if you can’t get out there to see it, what good is it doing you. It was the principle.The prpty mgr responded essent saying “hey!” they communicated ahead of time it was broken and the owner didn’t want us to be dissatisfied so they’d give us a full refund if we packed up and vacated the premises that day. Are you kidding me? Insulting. I def would not want to rent with this property company again.

Just Average Vacation

The Apollo complex was fairly clean and had good security. The beach is just to busy to enjoy a nice walk and the sand isn't your typical to walk barefoot on.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the ocean view and beach access. The condominium complex was nice with a nice pool and restaurant, but Apollo 302 was very dated and not very comfortable. The bed mattress was extremely uncomfortable, decor was very old, and furniture in the living room was not comfy. We had several items break during our visit, but the responsiveness of the management was quick to take care of the issues.There also were a lot of small bugs in the bathroom and kitchen that we didn't care for.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in and explanation of things was terrible by one person that hates her job. She offered no help. Parking was tight and terrible with no offer of help at check in by her. she really was the kick off to our stay which was not good. Elevator was broken so only one worked but nothing was said so we used stairs a lot. Second key to our room did not work which ended up being an inconvenience as well.

A lot of incoviences added up

The confusion during check in, we were an hour early no one could tell us if our room was ready yet, but gave us keys and said if the cleaning people weren’t done we could just drop our luggage in the room. Cleaning people were very unhappy with that when we went to our room. There was one giant pull down shade for the balcony and very thin. During turtle season it has to be dark and although I pulled the shade we were reprimanded by staff because our room was still too bright. So when the sun went down we used our phones as flash lights and if you wanted to sit out on the balcony you had to pull the entire shade up to get out instead of room darkening curtains. Bed was like sleeping on a brick and one washcloth per person was a bit ridiculous. Also zero privacy on balcony. Hope your neighbors are nice. Won’t stay there again. They are under construction right now. Also the keys for everything was crazy. I had to fight with the keys to get in and out of my room, beach, elevator and pool. It was all just a pain.

Filthy and expensive disappointment Jan. 15-29, 2025

We arrived late for a beautiful sunset to a Filthy condo. The view is as described. The counter had food on it. Crumbs all over top of the fridge, glasses were dirty and murky, coffee mugs had gross baked on residue and stains. Silverware, dollar store quality. Rusty steak knives, wine opener looked at least 50 years old. Blender over 40 years old. Coffee, carafe was wet, had grounds still in it. Toaster would only toast one side at a time. I cleaned so we could put our stuff away. The bathroom light was rusted and 2 bulbs burnt out. Mgmt Co. replaced them only to have them flicker for the entire 2 wk trip. The bathroom towels were new but bathmats were worn out beyond measure and there was still hair in the drawer.We both became ill within 4 days. hmm??When washing the linens, discovered the pillows were beyond disgusting and covered up by pillow protectors. By the time we needed to heat up soup, we discovered that ALL pots and pans were horrifically scratched, toxic and beyond disgusting. No Thrift store would dare to put them on their shelves. We were too sick to deal with it. When we recovered, I mentioned it to the mgmt company, they sent over new pots/pans and toaster. Should I have had to ever encounter any of this filth in a luxurious rental? Chaise outside so slippery you would slide off. We would love to hear from owner? I believe we are due a partial refund for this rental. Disgusted and disappointed.

We sent you a follow-up message the day after your arrival to ensure everything was up to your standards. You only mentioned a few issues: crumbs on the countertop, dust on the refrigerator top, some dirty glassware, and light bulbs out in the bathroom. We promptly offered to send housekeeping back to address all your concerns, but you declined. Our maintenance team had replaced the light bulbs in the bathroom vanity, and did not observe any flickering. If you had informed us of any issues, we would have been happy to troubleshoot further. Most reasonable individuals understand that things can malfunction, and our agency is always ready to assist promptly. While not every item is brand new, everything should be clean and functional. The property owner immediately replaced the pots and pans with a beautiful Ninja set, as well as a new toaster for your enjoyment. It is difficult to understand how these cleanliness issues could be connected to your illness several days after traveling through busy airports. When you reached out to inform us you were too unwell to go to the store for additional items, we arranged for those items to be delivered to you at no extra charge. However, there was no mention of this accommodating gesture in your review. We sincerely apologize for the illness that prevented you from fully enjoying your time on Marco Island. It is unfortunate that you felt the need to write a review that does not accurately reflect your experience. Thank you once again for your feedback, and we wish you the best in the future.

Too hot to walk around or sit on beach. Room was very tiny. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. Room needs updating

I enjoy finding shells but I don’t think my mind was prepared to find so many! I was in shell heaven! Everything about the stay was perfect from the room to the people to the pool. One of the male staff members that was cleaning in the mornings was kind enough to help us with the doors multiple times and we all got a good laugh. He just happen to be right there to open the doors every time we were struggling. We appreciated the little things. There was some construction but appreciate them updating this beautiful gem so it will up kept for years to come. I’m hoping to come back in October of this year.

A Happy, Bright Place To Be
