This cozy log cabin is nestled in the woods perfect for some well deserved R & R. Wildlife right in your backyard. All this without the long drive to the U.P. This versatile mid-Michigan cabin can accommodate up to 8 (Parties over 4 incur extra charges) with it's log twin over full bunk beds the kids will just love. Or perhaps a cozy retreat for you and that special someone. Romantic master suite in the loft with a private bath and of course a jacuzzi tub, a Mom and Dad getaway special! Just bring your toothbrushes and clothes, everything else has been thought of. All linens and towels, coffee, tea, cocoa, kitchen items, sugar and spices, washer & dryer. This place is fully stocked, your home away from home. We have many movies for all ages. Sit back on the deck, relax and watch the deer roam through. The cabin does not have wireless internet access or cable due to the tall trees. This is the woods, time to log off and relax! Depending on your phone service, you may be able to use your own Internet.
This cabin is located in a gated community with 4 small private non-motorized lakes, one of which is only a short stroll away. Perfect for teaching the little ones how to fish. Spend some quality time with your family or simply take yourself for a quiet walk to enjoy all the beauty Michigan has to offer. Deer, Wild Turkey and other wildlife abound in this heavily wooded community. Quiet and so serene that you can almost hear the snowflakes hitting the ground.

The accommodations were truly exceptional.My three companions and I recently enjoyed a two-night stay. We found absolutely no deficiencies during our visit. The evenings were graced by the presence of deer, and their numbers increased significantly by morning. Our neighbor, Tom, was very pleasant and joined us for a drink. The sleeping quarters were excellent. It honestly was perfect. I will return for a longer stay. Thank you Amy. Your place is amazing.

You are not going to like this place. You are going to love it. We had a sibling/spouse weekend and found this place. It was super clean and in a fantastic setting. Everything you need or may have forgotten was there. The property is full of wildlife. We also chose to rent a golfcart and was able to explore the full community. The host was exceptional and had excellent communication. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Thanks for a great weekend!

Things to fix to make it better for the next guest: upstairs sink faucet had water only trickling out of hot and cold side.The drain in the tub on the 1st floor bathroom. It was slow to drain while taking a shower. Everything else was just Grand !!!!

This cabin was extremely clean, well organized and the host thought of everything that is needed for the stay from the extra boxes of Kleenex to the many blankets. A branch fell during a storm while we were there and the maintenance man came really fast to clear it away. There are lots of dvd movies to watch which is really nice considering there is no wi fi. I would stay here again.

Beautiful property! The host has everything you could need! We did not use the jacuzzi tub but it definitely could fit two adults. This is not a property for people who don't like stairs though. Also the roads are dirt so take that into consideration especially if it's raining. There is no internet so plan accordingly. They do have beautiful TVs to watch with some limited channels and lots of dvds. The game room downstairs was awesome the ski ball and pool were a lot of fun. The pool was an added bonus and the people at the clubhouse were super duper nice. The king size bed was big but it does have an older mattress so that could be an improvement. I love how the house had everything and anything we would need in the kitchen. The property is woodsy with lots of woodland creatures to observe. Definitely a place if you want to go relax and enjoy the beauties of the outdoors! Super easy check in the property owner was very quick to get back with me about questions. I see why she's a premier host!

She’s readily available to answer any questions, she provides great detail in the home to make your stay easy and comfortable and she keeps the place clean and relaxing. This home was perfect! It was peaceful and relaxing. The home was clean and offered the little extras that take the worry away, such as extra toothbrushes, cleaning supplies, spices and condiments. The games area downstairs was the perfect evening hangout. Area around was quiet and the community centre pool was a nice treat.The host was thoughtful and communicated well. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this peaceful retreat.
