Rose Cottage - Tumut River

A unique Tumut experience in a 2 bedroom fully self contained, pet friendly cottage situated on a working farm with private Tumut River frontage. An ideal location for trout fishing, a perfect base for skiing the Mt Selwyn snowfields and exploring the Snowy Mountains region. Six generations of local knowledge will ensure your stay is welcoming and informed.
Rose Cottage has a fully self contained kitchen, bathroom and laundry. The main bedroom features a queen bed and the second bedroom has a double bunk and single bed. Air conditioning and gas heating as well as electric blankets, doonas and blankets are supplied.
Rose is surrounded by established gardens, kids' play area and communal undercover BBQ area for cooking and relaxing with friends or enjoy the privacy of your own verandah in the morning sun.

Terrific spot!

We really enjoyed our stay, extremely quiet picturesque great spot to relax..... Accommodation is comfortable has everything you need and close to town if you wish to dine out or need groceries. Brett was a great host and we certainly recommend the cottages as a great place to stay, we look forward to a return visit!

Ideal location - riverside yet minutes from town

Pretty location, clean, well appointed cottage with deck, great BBQ area and easy access to Tumut River for fishing. Only minutes from town. Great spot for a weekend or longer.

Even better than it looks in the photos

The property is in a lovely setting, the cottage was comfortable and the owner was friendly and helpful. The Tumut river runs on the property and is crystal clear and fast flowing, it was good for a refreshing swim.
