The Homestead at Corunna Station

The Homestead sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. These quarters have been lovingly restored to perfection and celebrates the elegance of wide hallways, period features and long afternoon shadows on the generous wraparound verandahs.

The 11 foot ceilings, striking overhead fans, patterned tiles, schoolhouse lights and crisp cotton bedding are complimented by reclaimed and repurposed pieces from every era taking on new roles throughout the house. Colonial, Danish and Victorian influences dance together effortlessly and create an interior of thoughtful surprise and delight for guests. Styled with classic white and romantic linens that interplay between jet black enamel features, up-cycled walnut treasures all set against the crisp white walls that usher you to enjoy the individuality of every room.

In summer, the light filled and spacious rooms of the guest quarters provides air flow and room to move, with each space opening effortlessly to verandahs where you can seek out your sunlit corner to inhabit with a glass of wine and let the hours slip away.  In winter, the custom kitchen will have you roasting and toasting with a fine bottle of Hunter wine to your heart’s content whilst your guests lounge next to the open fire. With both bathrooms featuring a deep, shapely claw foot tubs, you’ll find every reason to soak and, linger longer. A charming laundry with washer and dryer adds the final touches ensuring you have everything you need for a longer stay.

Should you wish to invite more guests to join you beyond your party of 6, Corunna Station also has further accommodation available with The Cook's House; perfect for 4 guests to stay in its 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom configuration, and The Country House; perfect for 12 guests to stay in its 5 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom configuration. Combining all three houses accommodates a total of 22 guests.

For those who like activities and adventure, the new Hermitage Road cycle track is on the doorstep, perfect to peddle along to enjoy all the local cellar doors, breweries, restaurants, horseback riding, Segway experiences and so much more. 

Please note, Corunna Station has 1 exterior security camera to monitor the entrance driveway only for the protection of the property.  Security cameras are commonplace at many of our rural properties. Footage is private and remains the property of the owner, and will only be used for insurance liability reasons, to monitor occupancy and other policies noted in our Terms & Conditions. They, in no way, are there to infringe upon the expectation of privacy of guests in these exterior areas. To disable or obscure the camera is prohibited and may result in loss of security deposit or eviction.

TARIFFS

For all standard bookings made after 3rd April 2024 and staying between 3rd April 2024 - 30th June 2024 (June Long Weekend not included):

Weekend - minimum 2 nights for up to 5 guests (adults or children) $651 per night (Thu-Fri, Fri-Sat or Sat-Sun)
Midweek - minimum 2 nights for up to 5 guests (adults or children) $489 per night (Monday-Thursday)
Extra guests are charged at $153 per person per night
Infants under 2 are free.

Please note that a $40 booking fee is applicable for all bookings made.

Weekend - minimum 2 nights for up to 5 guests (adults or children) $765 per night (Thu-Fri, Fri-Sat or Sat-Sun)
Midweek - minimum 2 nights for up to 5 guests (adults or children) $574 per night (Monday-Thursday)
Extra guests are charged at $153 per person per night
Infants under 2 are free.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit/bond of $800.00 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre- authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.

LONGER STAYS
Please contact us for a customised quote for longer stays of 3 nights and over.

NOTES
A 1-night stay may be accepted at discretion of Management within 14 days of the prospective arrival date. A surcharge is applicable on the 1-night stay, this will be calculated by our staff and quoted to you before the booking is confirmed.

Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas, and New Year periods require a minimum 3 night stay full weekend rate.

Concert and special event weekends in the Hunter Valley will have a set minimum night requirement to stay and may attract a surcharge.

“What an amazing home and experience! We went for a mid-week getaway to get out of the city and enjoy the fresh air while still working via laptop. The home it's self is an absolute dream with every detail you could imagine and a complete feast for the eyes. As we were working we spent most of our time at the house either on the porch or the living room and in our down time cooked in the amazing kitchen, relaxed in the bath over looking the land and walked around the property. This is a perfect home for a quiet getaway and its location to the wineries and restaurants makes it perfect to enjoy with a group of friends. Can't wait to go back!”
