As the name suggests, Second Fairway at the Vintage overlooks the par 4, 2nd hole of Greg Norman’s world-renowned golf course and promises to set a new benchmark in executive golf stays.

Second Fairway is ideally suited to 2 families or up to 4 couples or individuals, while still providing essential privacy and personal space for all guests.
* 3 King bedrooms on the ground floor, 2 of those with ensuite bathrooms and 1 adjacent to the main bathroom
* 4th bedroom is upstairs, can be a King or 4 singles, has its own en suite bathroom.
* Bathrooms feature big fluffy towels, hairdryers and guest soaps
* Comfortable beds feature hotel-quality white linen, feathery doonas and fluffy pillows

The Vintage resort facilities
This 18-hole Greg Norman-designed golf course has been ranked among the best golf courses in Australia. It is the only Greg Norman-designed golf course in NSW that is accessible to the public.
Second Fairway at the Vintage is ideally located on the righthand dogleg of the Par 4 2nd hole, with an open vista from the tee to the green, and just a stroll from all the golfing and recreational facilities The Vintage has to offer, including a 25m lap pool, children’s wading pool and generous hot tub.
Nearby are the 2 championship tennis courts, electric barbecues and guests gym.
The clubhouse itself features The Legends Grill which serves tasty meals from breakfast right through to late supper, both indoors and from the verandah overlooking the 18th.
The pro shop can assist with tee times and golfing equipment.
Golf tuition is also available at The Vintage.

I stayed with a group of adults and we had a wonderful experience. The accommodation had everything we needed and was very comfortable and cosy. Just a short walk to the nearby restaurant/bar plus pool and tennis court. Not to mention the wonderful view over the golf course. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

The owners of Second Fairway at The Vintage comprise of 2 families who love the region and wanted to spend time there in their own custom-designed comfortable home environment. This is why we created 2 master suites and fitted the upstairs bedroom with a flexible bedding configuration of up to 4 single beds. With growing kids, we needed dedicated space for adults to socialise away from the kids, and with the outdoor area, 2 living spaces and wide open spaces outside, we think we've achieved that. We hope you do too.

Why they chose this property

We always loved the Hunter Valley for the many fine wineries, restaurants, golf courses, outdoor concerts and particularly for the relaxing unhurried atmosphere which is such a change from the big city. Some years ago now, along with our friends we decided that we should create our own home-away-from-home exactly the way we would like it; where families could stay together or separately, and so we designed the house with 2 master suites, 4 bedrooms in total, and 4 bathrooms. We knew we didn’t want to share a bathroom or line up for a shower in the mornings, and we thought our guests wouldn’t either. Our priority was lifestyle and understated elegance so we made sure the outdoor deck was large enough for a setting for 8 people, plus day bed and large built-in bbq with sink and extra wok burner. It is perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner and with outdoor ceiling fan and wall mounted heaters, the deck can be used almost all year round. Inside we provide our guests with hotel quality bedding, linens and towels, guest soaps and the staple items you’d expect to find in the pantry including salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, cling wrap and paper towels etc. There are 4 TVs in the house, all with free to air TV and the free Wifi means that everyone stays connected and the whole family can access their Netflix account.
After all these years, we still love it and we hope you do too.

What makes this property unique

Very spacious with 4 large bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, this executive holiday home is located right on the golf course, a short stroll to the clubhouse and The Vintage leisure facilities, and within a few minutes drive of wineries, restaurants and concerts.
