Our second stay here and will do it again if opportunity arises! A cozy little cottage with a surprising amount of amenities. Even fresh eggs from their hens. So relaxing and peaceful watching the fishing boats from the rocking chairs on the front porch.

The beach front location was fabulous and I had a fire and a bbq on the beach every night and watched the sun go down in a spectacular sunset every night. I even caught a few striped bass off the beach. Just a lovely quiet place and the stars were amazing at night too.
The view was amazing and the host and her family were great. Very helpful and the fresh eggs were right on time.

A beautiful place to stay. Everything was very neat and tidy. It is just a little remote so stop at a grocery store about 30 minutes away. You will not want to leave just to eat. There is a mini-kitchen and bonus a BBQ. Loved the rocking chairs on the porch. The only negative really is that the bed springs are really noisy and the mattress is not all that comfy. A great place to sit back and relax,
We needed a place to freeze some packs for medication and these hosts went above and beyond to help. They also provided us with fresh eggs and blueberries from their homestead. Place was clean and she had the radio playing when we came in. So sweet! The water was warm and clear for us and was so nice to wade in.
Two notes:
There is no A/C (which I didn’t realize but that’s on me and not the fault of the listing) and if you come in August, bring some heavy duty deet bug spray. Mosquitos are no joke.
We really enjoyed our stay in this well-equipped, clean, and comfortable little bungalow. Our only complaint is that our stay was too short. The hosts were gracious and easily accessible, and the location and view were just as pictured!
I loved this cottage. It reminded me of camping with my family when I was young - it’s a small cottage, but it has everything you need to be comfortable. The kitchen is very basic (think hot plate and toaster oven and a bar fridge (and a bbq!)) but for the reasons you’re there - to relax and decompress - it’s just fine. The covered porch was our favorite place with the amazing view, the rocking chairs and the steady breeze… heavenly! Our hosts made us feel very welcome and were on hand in case we needed anything at all. Lovely people! We had an amazing time and would love to stay there again.
Exactly what we needed. Cool breezes, incredible sunset and very comfortable accommodations

Dissapointed when thecottage lacked space for a 2nd suitcase. Bunk beds were old n creaky, no microwave. A very long way in so eat first. Lovely beach though n the sunset was beautiful
This cottage was perfect for our labour day weekend getaway. Everything you would need is provided. We spent our time sitting on the cute front porch admiring their perfect ocean view and we even caught a fish right in front of the cottage! The area is perfect for exploring. This is definitely somewhere we want to return to in the future!
We had a glorious stay at the Sunset cottage. My boyfriend loves to cook (and loves a challenge!) so he cooked Beef Bourginon on the campfire on the beach - the whole thing done in my grandmother’s cast iron. It was marvelous. We had a great sleep/stay. The only bummer was all of the loud beeping heavy machinery right behind the cottage that started up at 7/8am. But we were up and getting ready anyway. So many lovely touches in the cabin. We hope to make this an annual trip. Totally recommend.
Thanks Marcie for sharing this lovely cabin with us. It was exactly what we needed to disconnect and enjoy the beautiful views.

We had the perfect weekend get away at this lovely spot, with a beautiful view from the front porch of this cozy beach front cabin.
Wonderful personal little touches from the fresh wild flowers in a vase that greeted us to the many games and extras that the owners have supplied.
We loved the rocking chairs on the front porch.
Thank you for this experience
We enjoyed this little cottage treasure for a night stay away, soaking up the sun and scenery during the day, and a beach fire in the evening. It had amazing views! All I needed was there! Will be going back!

Donna and her guests were able to enjoy all that the cottage offered. They were respectful of our space and I would recommend them and host again. Thanks!
This cute cabin was exactly what we needed. A spectacular sunset paired with a traditional Scotian seafood dinner was a great way to wind down after 9 hours in the car.
We would definitely stay here again!

Small but clean and comfortable cottage right by the shore. Very quiet and wonderful sunset. Bring your food. Small fridge, BBQ but no stove.

The location is remote and beautiful, probably one of the most spectacular sunsets I have ever seen. The owner, Marcie, is friendly and responsive. However, the property is very small, more of a bunkie, which is fine if we were better prepared for that - three persons sleep in a bunk bed which is awkward. I think perhaps a photo of the property would better prepare guests. No regrets we went, just saying a bit more clarity might be good for future guests. I would stay again if 2 persons.
