Great area for a weekend stay

A perfect area outside Auckland for a quick Auckland getaway. We had a couple issues with cleaning for the property but the owner promptly and professionally dealt with the issue.

The amenities don't reflect the price charged. Also the rubbish disposal should be the owners concern e.g. Tags for the rubbish bins should be provided and the cleaners could put the bin at the gate.

Loads of space and storage, heaps of parking. Beds were comfortable and room clean.Not quite enough towels, tea towel etc. a few towels were old with holes and stains.Only 1 Tv in the lounge and the TV Picture was bad.Hole in the floor covered with MattAnts over run in the bathroom, had to clean it after every shower, they cleared up after we sprayed on the 2nd day.Great size house for large group but the everything is dated and in average condition. It does have a beautifully renovated bathroom ruined by colony of ants that live in there.Laundry facilities were fabulous, modern washer and dryer. Kitchen was good, nice big fridge and freezer.

very dirty cleaners,they didnt change blood sheets, cupboards,fridge,microwave all filthy.

I will contact owners for the filth that me and my family had to endure with the bloodstain sheets,rubbish in bins were left from last stay,an dirty towels behind door,shame about the filth,perfect location for us.

Poorly equipped

This was a great house for our large family group but it needs more cuttlery etc, 1 teaspoon really isn't adequate! Minimal other cutlery and no fishslice to name a few. And the vacuum cleaner barely works, and hence the carpets are very dirty. With a good clean up and stock up the place would be awesome. And only getting access info on the day of arrival was a bit stressful.

Good House for a Big Group

Overall the house is great for families. Comfy beds, plenty of room, nice outlook and easy to get to. However, the cleaning and general maintenance of the property really needs some attention. I emailed the owner with a number of concerns so hopefully he has made some changes.

house was nice

House was nice with nice surroundings. Spacious living area. Some of the house amenities could have been better ie we had to buy more toilet a paper, no face flannels, it said there was a wireless speaker which we couldn’t find & the water kept stopping we had to go out and restart the system a few times. Could do with a good clean 🙂

Big house and lovely decore.

Lovely house lack of kitchen utensils and dishes. There was no mirriors jst 1 in bathroom . No line to hang washing on. But other than that great stay

Needs improvement to be charging that much

-We could not drink or use the water, it smelt terrible and made everything it touched terrible. We had to purchase water to use while we stay -The place had not been cleaned properly. liquid remnents on the walls of the toilet and so much more

Our quick overnight stay

It would of been nice to have a hand towel in the toilet & we couldn't get any entrance or outside lights to work. Lovely comfortable beds.
